Just a simply stunning watch! I bought the identical watch two weeks ago. Also thought the medium lacked presence, after going back and forth numerous times! I've also ordered a blue alligator strap to match the blued hands and blue cabochon. By the way, the official claimed power reserve is 40 hrs not 42 as you stated. I have, however, measured the actual power reserve of my watch and it came up short at just over 36h37' (91.5%) which is somewhat disappointing. Enjoy your Santos!

Check the link above, let me know if I'm still mistaken. Oddly enough I usually get more than that even close to 45-46 hours. I must admit though I do manually wind it as well from time to time. The blue alligator strap will look amazing and I agree the XL has a lot more presence.
Gonna grab a medium in the next month. Was gonna be my 40th bday present to myself for october. But i cant wait. Just got gf engagement ring so it looks like its gonna be 3 months early lol. Engagement ring good excuse to spoil myself lol
No reason to pay retail! I found a large Santos wssa0018 used with complete set on ebay for $5200. A $2500 savings. I own high end watche Rolex etc, but i am a new found fan of the Santos. Im not sure there is another watch that can do so much, with the alligator strap you can rock a suit or tux. With the steel braclet it casual and kassy all at once. Its one of the watches in my collection that is gaining more and more wrist time.
Yes of course Used is always going to be lower in price but some people want their watches brand new and also when gifting someone a watch it should not be a used one.
