On Sunday, recently elected President Petro Poroshenko vowed he would end two months of fighting with rebels in eastern Ukraine by the end of the week.
Last week, however, the Ukrainian army suffered a series of setbacks in the Luhansk region and lost control of several checkpoints along the Russian border. Separatist groups now say they have occupied up to 125 miles of the frontier, allowing for fighters, weapons and other goods to move across from the east. VICE News headed to a checkpoint in Luhansk to talk with a Cossack commander about his group's operations there and find out how he is "preparing for war."
In the towns of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk, shelling is on the rise. Some civilians in the area were able to pack their belongings and flee, yet many more local residents are unable to leave. From housewives, to students, to local farmers, all are feeling the effects of the continuing crisis.

Hits different after 8 years revisiting this series
It’s not different
when people parroting russia attacked for no reason they should be shown these videos
titling the 20 percent of ukraine terrorists is just stinks
indeed sounds like a propaganda, a pretext to justifying the shelling of civilians
Most guys you see on this video have probably already fertilized a few generations of crops with their corpses
@@djstorm75 The Russians sent the LPR and DPR mobiks into the fray already. They are almost certainly dead, or at the very least, missing some much needed limbs.
@@WhoopityDoo "much needed limbs" not realy, they never got used for anything constructive.
4:23 he didn't say "The bitch", what's wrong with your captions?
He said "Ykrainskiy President". I didnt hear Suka
President "эта сука", so to be more correct he say this bitch not the bitch.
i was about to post that also
The 100% truth. Wanted to write the same. Youngster didn't say that. Stupid subtitles!
I don't think he said "the bitch" either. Only after stating the exact phrase ("эта сука") here in comments and replaying video a couple of times I have now found the place where his speech has been misunderstood. It was just mumbling in between the words I'm sure. The guy has never spoke a single derogatory or profane word during his entire talk.
This comment section gave me terminal cancer.
Would you like a second helping?
That name tho
Your comment gave me cancer
There are definitely some translation mistakes throughout the video, but especially at 4:30 - he DOES NOT call Poroshenko "the bitch", nor implies or insults him in any way. Get your shit together Vice.
i literally heard him say cyka. clean your ears.
@@CosmicValkyriehe didn't say that. I'm Russian, I listened to it like 3 times. Please learn Russian before spreading misinformation
@@OClurzxywhat did he say them ?
@@Dovelunalove He said professor
@@server1ok thanks!
I noticed how at the start of the video when that guy was saying "for slovansk and Kramatorsk" he also said for Odessa right after it but I guess Vice just decided to keep that out cause if people googled it it would make them look bad.
The subtitles are not translated very well in general in this video, there's a lot of things they miss.
I've watched all of the "Russian Roulette" Videos and I understand Russian and Ukrainian very well although I don't write or read all that great. Vice has a strange streak of "missing" dialogue here and there of quite important evens, statements and opinions. Hey maybe it is a coincidence they missed that part about Odessa.. Or maybe not. Vice has been painting a black and white picture of the conflict in Ukraine since the start but what's the point of giving all the news when people are only used to Bad guys vs. Good guys scenarios. Just my opinion, agree with me or don't agree with me that's up to you.
On 4:28 he is also not calling President "the bitch".
Classic VICE...
Dmitrij Bugajev
Yeah, i noticed that too.
It's idiotic to to even mention Odessa on their (terrorists) part because even Odessa doesn't want war. Odessa is smart enough not to start a war over a tragedy that should NOT justify separatism or more deaths
I think that guy speaking around 3:24 has a valid point. People who consider themselves russians, and the ukranians, should be happy and live peacefully together instead of killing eachother. And i completely agree with him saying that both parts should halt their killing, and go back to the negoationing about some terms everyone can live with.
After all of the previous dispatch videos, it's like a breath of fresh air to hear a younger person speak out against violent action in the region. Ironic that the most mature person in this situation is this young man from a younger generation.
***** the ones thats using military force, shelling, and terrorizing local populations are not pro-russians.
The guys who took over buildings at gunpoint in the east were not interested in dialogue. They did not protest peacefully for one day. They did not try to use any political process. Putin wanted to create hell in eastern Ukraine. Putin feeds the worst tendencies of people. Russians, be proud of your culture, literature, arts... You don't need empire to be great!
Impossible. The Loyalists are openly talking about genocide. They want the land. They have no use for the people of Donbass. None whatsoever.
@@ontoyou895 And I suppose you were there? 😀😀😀
This series was epic. It should be resumed.
Yes but this conflict is smoldering now... Not much "hot" action. Thank God the areas in this video have been liberated by Ukrainians.
@@sergeybebenin Recently 4 Ukrainians were killed as the conflict has worsened. Putin is currently amassing military equipment on the border. I have a feeling things won't be quiet for long.
@@sergeybebenin that didn’t age well
thank you for the dispatch Vice and thank you for being out there and risking your life to get the footage.
Wish there would be less bias and more neutral view.
For example: at the start of the interview the guy says: they will pay for slavyansk, for kramatorsk and for odessa" but the odessa part is not mentioned in the subtitles, why? One thing is people swearing to repay for bombing them, and another thing is also swearing to repay for mass murders of innocent people in distant city. Leaving out this one word is leaving out a huge piece of the whole picture of what is happening.
at 00:40 you report "they took 200km of the boarder, allowing for a steady stream of weapons and fighters to come across from russia" and yet you do not provide any footage of that steady stream (in the interview with the soldier there was no mention of that). It would be more correct to say "allowing the possibility of weapons and fighters to be coming from russia". The way you put it implies that there are masses of weapons and fighters flowing through the 200km open border now, which may or may not be true.
at 3:16 "daily shelling from both sides takes it's deadly tow" in the context of death of civilians. Here the only proof of separatists bombing their own cities you can find is in ukrainian media articles. There is no factual proof of that. However there are many interviews with civilians from Slovyansk who claim ukrainian army is bombing the city. I think more correct way to say this would be "daily shelling takes it's deadly tow"
The reporting after 6:20: You mention that "opportunists and even DPR themselves taking advantage of the chaos". And then you report on how the swine farm was burned down by unknown individuals. And it could be anyone 1) someone who had personal vendetta against the owner of the farm 2) DPR people(for political reasons? why is there no mention of what kind of political reasons? Is it because those people are against the DPR? If so why not ask woman about that and show us that they don't agree with actions of separatists. I cannot think of any other reasons DPR would burn the farm (they will need the pork from there for food for their republic in the future and it seems rather illogical for them to do it). It could also be 3) national guards - The woman said "two cars were painted in camouflage" not as you translated in subtitles "they had masks and painted faces". Reasons for them to do it I would think is to turn the public against the war because of the destructions they experience themselves and therefore against the separatists or 4) it could be anyone else, who knows? And I think mentioning DPR before this particular report makes the whole thing seem from the beginning that it is the actions of DPR. It would be better to leave the whole "opportunists and even DPR" intro out of this and just show the report.
I understand that being a part of western media, and especially having one of your reporters captured and tortured by separatists makes you biased, but I think being professional and objective is something that is really valued in our day propaganda wars and is especially appreciated.
Thank you for this extra information. Please feel free to go on translating future reports!
Please keep on correcting Vice's misreports for us in the futture! Thank you!
Reasonable, unbiased and level-headed criticism of VICE's reporting without ever mentioning Obama, FOX News or jews? What sorcery is this?!
Yeah actually noticed everything you stated I (and I love and defend VICE passionately regularly). The last clip was was quite misleading specifically mentioning the DPR the people interviewed never stated who or why, it could have just as equally been the right sector or the donbass battalion how are we too know from what they said?
yap, these kind of news makes people forget that it is kiev who first brought chaos into eastern ukraine by threatening the civil rights of ethnic russians (like russian language is removed from daily lives, severe racism, discrimination, propaganda about how bad russia is, etc) and they ended up looking like the good guy, thanks to this kind of news
I don't understand why it is seen as so important for a country to stay united. If a group of people that live in the same area want to be independent let them do it. Why accept a referendum in Scotland but denie the same right to Ukrainians?
It's illegal to do so. Russia would never allow such a thing would it?
craigpauly2005
It is called the international law of self determination. It is allowed in Scotland, South Sudan, Yugoslavia and Catalonia also wants to make use of it just to name a few examples. Why not in Ukraine?
I don't see reports of massive rioting in Moscow demanding the end of Putin...
That logic can't work. If that's how it was the whole world would tear apart. All ethnic people from foreign lands could then form their own little republics. It just can't work. Russia already got Crimea. That's going to have to be enough.
That would work better than the pseudo democraty we have now. The smaller the country the more power and control people have so there would be way more efficienty and way less corruption.
Because the Scottish independence referendum will be free, fair and monitored by international election observers.
In the case of eastern Ukraine the territory has been occupied by a relatively small group of separatists and its unknown how much actual support they and their cause have.
Vice, you should do something with translation of the reports done not by Simon. In every report subtitles are not corresponding to the phrases said. In this case, fire example, translation suggest that the guy at 4.15 calls president bitch. He does not. It does sound like that because of the edit (hope it is not done on purpose).
4:16 that teen is one of the smartest, non biased and correct interviewee they have had so far. Both sides should not be fighting this stupid war.

ganger631 Russia took Crimea
ganger631 US and Russian relations were actually improving, especially economically. Then Russia INVADED crimea and annexed it which is when the relations fell apart.
It doesnt matter if US supported the maidan. What matters is majority of Ukrainians supported it and went to protest.
wwwelkam 96% percent voted to be with Russia. That is called democracy.
If Russians think all of Ukraine should be russian just because it was once a part of the russian empire then Russia should belong to Sweden since Swedish rulers once ruled this area.
The thing is, Russia and Ukraine and Belorus share a common ancestry and culture, while Sweden and Russia do not. Also, listen to the guy at 4:04
Sam Vodopianoff - Самуил Водопьянов A swedish elite once ruled the russian slavs. Also the area where St.Petersburg is was for a long time part of Sweden. Hand it over to the swedes.
Also according to your logic all of scandinavia should be one country since they share culture and ancestry?
Do you forget that Russia has stolen many regions from other people too? Karelia was stolen from Finland, East prussia was stolen from Germany. The North Caucasus was conquered in the 1700s and 1800s from the people that are natives there.
Russian fascists think all land where russians live although russians are a minority there is rightfully russian. By the way the Azov battalion are not planning to genocide russians or russian speakers in eastern ukraine, most of the azov battalion members speak russian as their native language.
MainstreamPoPsucks3 No, i dont think they should be one country, just that the tension should end. And guess what? Most empires in history commited atrocities and most took land from other nations.
Sam Vodopianoff - Самуил Водопьянов Russia last time did it in 2014.
MainstreamPoPsucks3 So? Your point? the US invaded Iran on false charges, and caused over 2 million people to be homeless.
Thanks Vice..on the inside getting the real updates...
DPR militias very brave people! What terrorists? Check out who the terrorists before writing nonsense. It is a war of the people against the oligarchs.
Ukraine should provide these people their language rights, economic management. or there is a two states instead of one...
What, Putin isn't an oligarch?
FastRomanianGypsies No. He is a dictator.
FastRomanianGypsies no.
If you know the story of Putin's rule. Putin has nationalized key industries of Russia - oil and gas. He took it from the oligarchs (Berezovsky, Abramovich, Khodorkovsky). You can search for what happened to some of them... It was not exactly democratic, but fair.
The main criticism of Putin comes from Western countries. But he should not act in their best interests.
Sergei Badmaev Criticism comes from Russia's neighbors, too. That fucking son of a bitch just started another cold war. And somehow it makes the Russians happy. Probably they just want to get back to queuing and nuclear defense drills again. Luckily we are in the boat with the strong, not with the Russians.
Don't you wonder, why public education system is so bad in Russia? To keep you on a very short leash.
They are actually allowed to keep their language, but they are not allowed to terrorize and seperate the country with violence and guns, if they stop the violence, the ukranian millitary will also stop it, then the seperatists who committed severe crimes will be arrested, and the other "russians" can live there peacefully, would be the best solution in my opinion, but if the seperatists choose to fight, they have to accept the reaction of the government

Oh, yes, of course! We're doing everything to ourselves! We're shelling ourselves, we're torturing ourselves, we're openly talking about massacring ourselves! Remember the air conditioner that exploded? " The defenders of freedom and democracy " will be soon running out of available lies. 😀
0:05 For Slavyansk and for Kramatorsk and for Odessa..
Why you no caption right, Vice
I always just never get the feeling that either side in this situation is what the people need, even more so that an armed conflict between them is completely unnecesary. Just another example of the human disability to work together most of the time I suppose.
on the last part of this video (6:04) it isn't Kramatorsk. It's village near Artemivsk
What did these people expect when they declared themselves free from Ukraine, that the government would just let them go without a fight? They're pretty much getting what they asked for at this point... I feel bad for the people in the DPR who did not want to break from Ukraine but for those who voted in the referendum to leave, they couldn't have honestly expected that it would be peaceful.
I notice these guys don't ask for anything. No facebook account for donations, no PR campaign, no crying uncle..
True Patriots!
Yeah they just take it from the Metro.
Mother Russia is giving them all they need I guess
They get guns, mortars, artillery and tanks from russia and they rob supermarkets for food. I don't see why they would need any donations, but nobody would donate anyway.
DaInsano
Russia donates hehehe
Patriots? They are literally traitors. They go against their own nation and government (if they are Ukrainian) to surrender an entire region to another country.
4:15 The wisest thing said by anyone in the entire video - including this comment section.
Didn't think vice would cover both sides. Thnx n understand the dangers n also the pressure by the military etc.
When is going to be despatch 49
? What is going on with vice in ukraine?
1:24
I can tell you that rebels in Kramatorsk did not allow people back in the city, or at least it wasn't so easy. My family was warned many times that if they left the city, they would not be permitted back unless they were given documentation. It goes without a surprise that we were very happy when Ukrainian forces re-captured the city. Rebels acted like a gang, if you said or did anything they didn't like, you'd be threatened immediately.
Hold on- at 6:10 is Vice insinuating that act of terrorism by men with painted faces was DPR? I didn't get that. What did I miss?
That what they try to imply when none of the person interrogated say that and it's quite evident that it's the Ukrainian encircling the city that are most probably responsible.
Attacks on farms and villages by Ukrainian nationalists were common around Marioupol and Slaviansk.
а в диалоге с теками почему-то не прозвучало, кто именно там приезжал
damn i dont know how to watch and read at the same time :(
I have pretty much lost all of my respect I had to this channel. There is blatant misinformation in subtitles at 7:11. The woman says the attackers flew over, but that is not in the subtitles at all. That word gives much more information about the attackers and the circle of them obviously gets smaller. That is simply misinformation and propoganda. They simply ignored one of the most important words that hint at who might have done it.
That thing is not very clear, Flew over could also mean rushed in. So it doesn't mean the flew helicopters. One of the women even said that they flew in in five vehicles.
Melanie Kowalski No, when you say "prileteli" you usually mean that they flew directly from the air, when you say "priehali" then someone came from land. You don't use this word when you are talking about people rushing in.
you do use prileteli to say that someone is rushing, it is east Ukrainian semi-slang commonly used in Ukraine, whilst for most Russians it can mean something else but in Ukrainian speaking part ie communities in the rural areas, where most people speak Ukrainian it is common to use Ukrainian way of speaking in Russian whilst speaking Russian. Here the women clearly means drove in by "5 cars". Come on you don't fly cars, not even in Russia :)
Ukrajins'kyy Mpushnyk 2 cars*. That word doesn't fit in, and it looks like some parts of the interview where cut out.
6:27 "5 cars" bit, Where 5 cars are "flying in"
Vice please don't sell any shares to Murdoch and time Warner! we we will become your share holders! great reporting btw:)

Is Dispatch 49 coming anytime soon?
Based on my knowledge, Cossack is from Russia right? So tell me that it's a "People" Army or a Mercenary Army?
Actually and historically Cossacks are from Ukraine - they basically founded Ukrainan statehood in Middle Ages. But later some of them (Don's cossacks) appeared to be on the territory of Russia. Modern russian "cossacks" are mostly role-players poisoned by imperial russian "rising-from-the-knees" propaganda
There are no real Cossacks left anymore, just like how there are no real knights, hussars or vikings.
But any real Cossacks would have been in Ukraine 14th to mid 18th century including Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and Cossack Hetmanate.
Yeah, and regarding the initial question - In "people" "army" by my information there are like 80% of mercenaries, and only about 20% - local people. and there are no some monolith structure actually but some groups and gangs consisting of local criminals, but as I see, some normal people also support this. it is sad.
Wu Tang Ghostface Killah
what information???? the one you just made up???
there are Ukranian (Zaporozhye) and Russian (Don, Cuban etc) cossacks:

There is a mistake in translation on 4.26: the boy haven't said "the bitch" he says "то есть Украинский" which means "the President,Ukrainian i mean"
Thanks for clearing that up, it seemed a bit random :)
Has the U.S state department stopped these dispatches showing Russian tanks and forces invading the former Ukraine? I enjoyed them so it's a shame.
Everyone interviewed here was Eastern Ukrainian from what I can tell because they did in fact speak Russian but they said their g's like the letter h. This is common for native Russian speakers in Ukraine and Belarus but not Russia.
He said:
"Президент, да, то есть украинский, ну, Порошенко..."
"President, yeah, ukrainian one, I mean Poroshenko..."
Soon this will be over and all these tourists that came to confuse and give false promises to these naive people will be shipped back in coffins to be buried in their motherland and forever cursed by those whom they caused so much pain. Слава Україні!!!

There's no translation about old man saying "for Odessa" right after "for Kramatorsk". And you *clearly* can hear it.
Why would Vice conceal this? Or it wasn't intentional?
They took the pigs?
Sloviansk is starting to look like South Sudan, thank you "freedom fighters".
Yes, because the freedom fighters have artillery ... or wait they dont, it must have been their air force then ... nope dont have one, think before you speak or dont speak at all ... wisdom to live by.
BigChiefWiggles V The video that's showing the "freedom fighters" burning down a functional farm, yeah, that makes perfect sense. They don't want autonomy, they want to have someone pay for everything while they think and act out some teenage fantasy of being leaders - without any sense of realism.
infiltr80r
pro Ukrainian forces are the ones that burned the farm in order to force people from the area and at the same time remove a food source, they are trying to use the tactic of starving an area out which is a centuries old tactic used to break a siege. As far as leadership, Id say based on the actions of both sides in the conflict DNR militia leadership has shown much more competence and skill than the Kiev leadership and their generals, this goes for both on and off the battlefield. I dont know if you have studied history but most new countries that split off are formed exactly in this way, it is very rare that the their previous leadership just lets them go and they have to survive militarily long enough for either the casualties or the costs to become unacceptable to the previous leadership. It has been said that wars are fought by the generals but won by accountants. Also your teenage fantasy theory doesnt hold up to even a small engagement, anyone who goes into combat expecting it to be fun will have a very bad time after the first shots are fired and their friends show up with body parts missing and guts hanging out, anyone who stays past that first engagement and keeps fighting isnt doing so for "some teenage fantasy". In order for you to say something so ignorant you yourself must be a teenager and or teenage level on the metal development scale.
BigChiefWiggles V You just made that up. As I understand these 2 women were Russian and they would've proudly say if it was done by Ukrainian forces.
I didn't even read the rest of your comment as you obviously can't make your drivel readable by using paragraphs.
If these "freedom fighters" said they want to rather build a better Ukraine, the fighting would cease and there would be no more drama. So it's really up to them.
infiltr80r why the hell would the people stationed in the area burn down one of their own food supplies? I mean what kind of retarded logic is that? Do you even think about what you are going to say before you say it?
They dont want a "better Ukraine", they want their own country away from the ethnic Ukrainians and their self appointed govt that overthrew the elected president earlier.
They didnt want the war, they are in their home, the self appointed govt sent the army to THEIR regions and began using force, in other words the power to stop the war rested with the initiator of the violence.
Now, I understand that most Americans have a problem with knowledge of history, geography and even things like simple logic, they tend to get angry when they say stupid shit and then someone points out how stupid the shit they said is.
Dont be mad, go study up, learn about the history of Ukraine, how it was created, what regions were added when and by whom, who lives in those regions etc. Once you do that things will become much clearer but as of right now you are just an angry ignorant little man trying to cover up your ignorance with the standard personal attacks on my punctuation. There I made paragraphs just for you.
They''ve been lagging on the videos. Last dispatch they waited until election day. Where is dispatch 49?
Yes
Shelling from both sides
I'm confused at to what happened at the end. Who and why did they burn down the pig farm?!
Probably, to tell in a Russian news that it was bombed by Ukrainian helicopters.
Provocateurs! :)
so called "DNR" and actually terrorists. But why I dont' know. Maybe this farm of business owner is consider to be pro-ukrainina by them.
they just destroyed the trucks cause in worst case scenario they could be used to help the other side transport stuff. so might as well get rid of them when u got the chance.
Janis Ladigs
lol what is this, The Godfather? You have a point though. VICE showed lard packages earlier.. maybe they want to starve them to death!
At the end of the video, where ladies were explaining what happened to their work place, the journo had very conveniently cut the interview not to include the part where they say that it's ukro army that burned down the farm...
Third comment. As always good job vice. I love the newest information on Ukraine.
This could be all resolved by peaceful cooperation.. but people have big ego and this is what happens.. sad that people who want to cooperate has to suffer..
British guy is not following his operator anymore?
Also, why didn't you tell whose farm it was that was burned down and why it was burned? Did it belong to one of the new oligarchs in power, or was it just some entrepreneur who refused to pay taxes to the new state? Or maybe someone sponsoring anti-separatist forces? Clearly something is missing.
agreed, the interview was cut unfairly. I suspect it could've been national guard as well
It would be even worse if this farm didn't belong to an oligarch, because then it'd have to target average Ukrainian civilians, showing that these separatists are textbook-definition terrorists.
The farm was burnet by Ukrainian during their surrounding of the city.
It has not been subtitled (wonder why) but the woman evokes an helicopter, not leaving many option for who is responsible.

This reporters in general gearing towards Ukrainian side of story most of the time. That’s why they purposely translate incorrectly in some instances to fit their narrative.
That's because even now 2 years later there is no evidence for Russians story ever happening while even at the time there was lots of evidence of Ukrainians story
Fighting "terrorists" by shelling your own cities. Certainly that is not right when you are fighting your own people and endangering the innocent.

If your not gonna have a dispatch on Ukraine everyday or every other day hire more journalist to cover it. I'd sign up damn
The captions are completely fucked, but when he says civilians taking shelling from 'both sides' I couldn't take it anymore hahahahaha.
2:00 "Yo dawg we heard you like dirt bags."
Wish Vice would upload more. The situation is getting worse and worse, yet one of best sources for news on Ukraine is posting less and less. I understand that it's difficult to make these, but at least give us some word on why Vice isn't uploading as much.
I totally agree. Just two weeks ago they where pumping them out, but now they seem to have slowed way down and make one video at most a week. I wouldn't care if each video a week was longer, but they are usually shorter than the older videos! Please vice make more!
dear residents. in case of artillery shelling, please hide in the basement.of the building
Come on where is Simons next report? There have been many news worth stories to cover since his last dispatch. Come on vice
даже название Славянска нормально не написали.
so who atacked the building at the end and set it on fire.
He didn't say "bitch" at 4:20. That was a kind of "uhm".
Where are Cyril and Methodius when you really need 'em?
4:25 bitch? He didn't say that....
I'm still confused as exactly why they are fighting, can someone please tell me what is going on? who are the rebels? why is Russia involved? what are the political views of the Ukrainian public? i love these videos but it gets hard to follow if you don't know what is going on. i just now started to follow what is going on especially thanks to vice news
In ukraine, there are many people who see themselves as russian, so they want the cities they live in to be russian, they achieved this goal in crimea, crimea is now a part of russia, then they wanted to go on and wanted more cities to become russian, but the ukranian millitary started to defend themself, this leads to this war, putin actually would want it that these cities become russian but the west is putting him under a lot of pressure so he probably won't do the same thing like in crimea, the rebels are the seperatists, the ukranians who feel russian, they say that all ukranians are fascists, russia is supporting them with weapons and probably also a few soldiers, the usa is supporting ukraine with millitary equipmeng, i hope you could understand this, i'm not a native english speaker so sorry if there are any language mistakes, i'm just a 20 year old german student^^
And i have to add that the seperatists want to achieve their goal witch violence and guns
We are seeing these cities now being advanced again by the Russians 8 years later. Crazy stuff
no we aren't sadly, everywhere Russia has gone there are no city's only ruble.
@@owenthomas5103 Grozny was once ruble its a city once again. Harsh reality of these type of diffucult grind artillery war. Im sure Russia would wish to keep these cities not in ruble but sadly theres lots of troops and the biggest battle of the 21st century going on in them. Atleast the people are evacuated before hand so they dont end up being slaughtered like in gaza 🤷♂
@@freedomwhenneeded if Russa dosnt want to destroy their the only option is to NOT (tryto) conqure them, and no they have not rebuult citys in a few years only a few parts for photo-oppituitys. Sadly there are many stories of people who they to flee in the "wrong" direction being shelled
@@owenthomas5103 are u tryna claim grozny isnt fully rebuilt? Yikes. Delusional. Get off the internet. Your too deep into propoganda. When Russia went into Ukraine it never was a gurantee that they would have to find for years in long hard battles that would devestate cities. The original plan was a coup assisted with the armed forces of Russia, a lot similiar like in afghanistan, where Russian troops stormed kabul and rushed down highways like we saw in feb 24. They were just tryna recreate this, and a guerilla campaign would probably not succeed like in afghanistan because of the terrain.
Russia came for short victory to unite Russians, belorussians, ukrainians together. These cities are being destroyed because there are UKRAINIAN soldiers in them. Seeing how trained and equipped the ukrainian armed forces have become what makes u think if Russia didnt attack that it could grab donbass?
The donbass bombings, although often highly exaggerated, were comitted by the armed forces of ukraine without a doubt lol. The missiles and rockets are coming from the westward direction when they hit in almost every video of donetsk. Ukraine bombs donbass for many reasons that would be useful for them. There is almost nothing to gain for the DPR and LPR to bomb their own cities.
@@freedomwhenneeded no city's are not being destroyed because Ukraines are in them. They have had Ukraineans in them for centuries. They are being destroyed because RUSSIA chose to try and conqure Ukraine in an unprovoked attack!
And you really think .city's have been rebuilt in a couple of years? If so that would be impressive to say hhe least.
Bad report and translation, hard to understand this situation
some
When shit goes down, Russia is always wrong. im so sick of this attitude towards them.
By the end of the week... oh dear
