It’s so weird remembering all of your previous lines and collections- Glitzy Glam, Cellairis, Skylark, Beneath the Glitter, and I’m probably still forgetting some. It’s like I’d never fully forgotten about them but they aren’t the first thing that come into my head anymore when I think of you or Blair. I remember always wanting one of your items, but I was only like 12 and I’m from the UK so shipping was so expensive. So nostalgic though! The world seems so different to how it was then!

And certainly no one could blame you from pulling back and wanting to distance yourselves after a bad business deal where you felt your reputations were impacted and your hands were tied. I actually STILL have your eye shadow palette and lip glosses (and books), and will NEVER get rid of them as they're so nostalgic of the beginnings of the UA-cam world, "Beauty Gurus", etc.. :)

Ahh I remember skylark. I have followed you and Blair since the beginning. Blair was the first UA-cam video I ever watched when I was in secondary school and didn’t know how to style my hair. Now a qualified teacher myself! Crazy how time flies. Nice to know what happened to skylark finally, I remember the brand so well! Elle watching you brings me so much joy in my heart, I think back to the old youtube days you and Blair were basically my best friends. If youtube is not the future for you I completely understand it is normal to outgrow things, and youtube kind of has become a weird place. But i with nothing more in my heart i wish you and Blair would go back to uploading regularly.

Wow, I haven't thought about Skylark in FOREVER. I never bought it because I'm not a make-up person, but I remember you guys doing it, plus I'm in the UK, so prob couldn't have got it anyway. As for Glitzyglam, I made an order once, and got a keychain thing, one of those that goes over your wrist. It's on my car key and I use it every day! It's survived multiple trips through the washing machine as well! I also had a cosmetics bag for travel with my name on, which I still use. :) I've loved the products, but I got put off getting anything else, because I got hit with a big customs bill when it arrived, which was way more than the cost of the actual items. I've no idea why, because I've never had that with any other product I've bought from the US. Even now, I'm weary of ordering from the US, because of what happened with my Glitzyglam order. And this was like, 13 years ago maybe.

(Regarding the Skylark situation) Being a business student for 6 years, I think yeah they didn’t meet their threshold with selling product and/or were already in the “weeds” then thought okay this business venture with you guys was a profitable one and would save the company, overspent on R&D then found out they couldn’t afford the venture with you two. That’s what I’m assuming🤷🏻♀️
Edited: they probably couldn’t even afford to continue with the project with the perfumes in full size

I am so glad you opened up about Skylark!!! I remember getting the 3 little bottles of fragrance and I tested them out each day!! I had my vote then when it didn’t work out it was sad but I was also happy to be able to keep the samples and continue using them! I can’t remember my favorite but I think it was #2! There were no hard feelings on my end. I am still a huge fan of both of you!
