Is it just me who noticed the old Mac brushes with the pink tips? It's nail polish, right? I was 13 when I started following you Elle (your channel was the reason i got a UA-cam account because I wanted to be able to subscribe, haha!) and you're the reason I got into makeup. I'm turning 22 this year...

I don’t understand why companies do not send sample sized PR products. 🤷♀️
Because for most cosmetics companies, the expense isn't in the product - it's in the packaging, marketing and distribution. It's generally cheaper for them to send full-sized product rather than making custom sample sizes. Also, they know that lots of beauty influencers will give away PR products to their viewers (that's why they so often send 2 promo kits to the big beauty influencers). When an influencer runs some kind of contest to give away product, it's like a bonus promo for the company.
My big question from this video was: I counted 100+ lip liners in her 'keep' pile. It takes me, like, a year to go through 2 lip liners. How the heck would anyone need 100+??

Anybody else remember when she had like 10 drawers of blush?? This collection is so amazing, it's " a lot" of makeup but so much less than what you had! You did an amazing job.
I get stressed when I have to declutter things that I haven't gone through for a long time. That's why I try to do it more often, so it's easier for me. Watching you cleaning so much of your makeup collection, made me feel a little overwelmed for you (imagining how much time and effort it takes). The end results, on the other hand, are very satisfying to see. I remember how big your collection was back in the day and to be honest, no one needs so much makeup. It just goes bad, because no one is able to use up everything. I guess that's why makeup gurus make so much giveaways and donations or they pass it on friends and family.
I'm happy to have you back and I'm excited to see what content you have for us.
P.S. James is the best partner in crime (or in your case - in declutter. lol) you could ever ask for!

You have done an amazing job with your decluttering! As a mom, it’s so freeing to be able to open up new, clean, organized spaces that never before existed! Clean slates are the absolute best. I’ve watched you for many years, although I dropped off several years back. But this channel rebranding and new take on videos has to be my absolute favorite and has me loving your channel all over again. I think you’ve found your perfect niche for this place and time in your life. Don’t ever worry that viewers won’t accept your changes or choices. This was so satisfying. Now I would like a favorites video or a must have products video that have in your opinion stood the test of time.
Idea for the hello kitty blush: depot the old blush and replace it with a mac blush you do use.
That way it sparks joy and is also useful ☺️
Hadar Glasberg Marie Kondo also said that you don't have to own an item in order to appreciate it. It is not being used for what it should be used for. Just take a picture or just get rid of it. Nine out of ten times people don't even think about what they got rid off

Hey, great video! You were the first youtuber I ever subscribed to almost 10 years ago! It's fantastic to have you back in the community and with a good sense of self and direction. Its CRAZY to see your whole make up collection!! And gurus having a secret make up room, lol! One thing that I would've loved to see in this video is a time lapse of you sitting on the floor going through everything inbetween the close-up scenes. Getting a better idea of how much work and time this took you would be cool and entertaining. Cant wait to see more of the series, and more of your happy baby! ;)

Doing what you love is most important and what is relevant to you! 10 years is a long time, and don’t forget that your followers have grown over the years as well!
