Nice to see rear turn LEDs finally. Something I noticed is that projector headlights are gone, the 4 trims all just get reflectors. The physical difference between reflector and projectors was an easy way to tell whether the pre-refresh gt-line or gt had their premium package. And the pre-refresh EX even with its premium package didn't get projectors. And now the EX doesn't even have a package option anymore
Was really looking forward to getting one of these 25’s. Unfortunately KIA decided ONLY to import this K5 with very limited interior colors. You can only have a black one on the EX and GT. The GT-Line offers red or black. That’s it. No other choices.
Unless you're racing at a track this has more than enough power for the average driver you don't need over 200 horsepower. And with a k&N air filter you get better throttle response and it's a good car overall

I hope that im wrong, however, I have a feeling that the missing chrome strip on the front window is an "oops". On the ones that I've seen in person, it was missing on the passenger side and not the drivers 🤷
Only difference from the previous year is that the GT-Line now comes with parking sensors and 360 camera and the dual screen. Everything else? The same, blah.
Some people need to get a life. If you want to spend your money elsewhere, go ahead. I’m so glad we have Kia/Hyundai who gives us cars that look good, have the best warranty and that we can afford. If you want something faster, get the GT. If you’re into labels, get something else. Why waste energy when it won’t change the fact that people are going to ignore you and buy it anyway 😂
Vinyl has a very cheap connotation to it. This material is a much better quality so although “vinyl” would be an accurate description, it’d be like putting cloth, fabric and microfiber in the same category. Faux or synthetic leather just seems like a more fair description considering the increased quality.
For goodness sakes this in not a new engine. This engine has been around for a few years. Because Kia/Hyundai do not have the "tools" to build reliable GDI engines, this is the solution? This car has an addendum stickers price close to 35k. The 7 speed dual clutch is gone. The 1.6t is gone. The dual clutch and turbo are far more engaging than the proposed "new" engine. But due to widespread oil consumption issues Kia/Hyundai simply screwed consumers time after time. This car is rated 191hp and 180 torque....oh my goodness. Kia does not have the "tools" to give this car a torque rating of 195 without sacrificing fuel economy. As a side note the new Kia K4 will have a 190hp rating with the 8 speed auto and turbo. They could have designed a K5 sport hybrid comparable to the Accord and new Camry hybrid variants. The car looks nice but where is the value? It appears the doors are not sensors....push button? People do not be beta testers. The dealerships only goal is to separate you from your purse/wallet.

I have the 2024 k,5. Just hit 5000 mile mark . Love it . Think it looks better than the 2025 . Get lots of good comments on it . Wolf grey and loaded all the way.
@Thefrakenkraken this actually looks better in the front the old ones dotted lights in the back were probably better but they were not full leds and these taillights are not terrible also liked the exhaust pipes on the old gt better but overall the new one is better

Is it naturally aspirated?
Yes, 2.5 liter 4 cylinder.

I hate that you guys all keep using the word faux leather when it's vinyl

you wrote a whole paragraph outa ur day to hate 😂😂. It must be good asf for a car
Translator needed....anyone available?
It’s not an all new engine but it’s new for the K5. Kinda like how Fords 2.7 and 3.0 twin turbo engines aren’t new, but they are for the Ranger.
