i see everyone talking about how this game has almost nothing to do with Gorefield, but honestly i kinda like it better that way. it feels like the creator was going to make a Gorefield game, but then had their own original ideas and decided to branch off into what they actually wanted to make, and i like that
So Alfa Beta Gamer shouldn't have put the name "Gorefiel" in the subtitle.
@Mom But the name is the first word, it is like Warner Bros. make a movie with the name "Batman and his Villians" and Batman only apears in a few scenes.
Coming back to this year later, pretty much. Creator has released a new Lasagna Boy game which basically has nothing to do with the Gorefield, but uses the same artstyle and mechanics as this one.

Actually, Lumpy does a bunch of the Gorefield stuff now, and he still makes games and videos about it.
If you just never played the first floor, I would’ve never thought it was about Gorefield.

I don't have anything bad to say about the quality of the game production, but man was I bored out of my mind even watching at 2x speed.
To be honest I was playing a game with horrible sound tracks so I just muted and listened to this
there's not enough creepy atmosphere, maybe some dramatic music would help
It's a 15 minute game that really overstays its welcome honestly.

I honestly like this game, but it doesn't really feel like a gorefield game. Hell, the final boss isn't some insane super buff garfield demon, but just some random demon dude with three eyes. Not to say the game's god awful, it just doesn't feel like a spooky garfield game.
the game isnt scary, and bad, I gotta agree... but really, they wouldnt be able to use garfield in the game.

Still an interesting retraux Gorefield game nonetheless.
That horoscope he did creeps me out. I'm March and Gorefield is whale size. The rain helps me sleep at night but not when Gorefield knows my exact location and the rain getting heavier (may be flooding point) to get me completely drenched.
If I get drenched I will be instantly teleported to the ocean world where he will eat me 💀. A submarine or a simple equipment such as a raincoat, umbrella, towel might help but BRUH it's the fricking rain, it won't stop and will only get harder unless I defeat Gorefield himself!

The game is cool but it is lacking some anxiousness in the ambient. At the end of the day it’s just a random large enemy we had to hide from while following a pretty coherent pattern.

This reminded me a lot of another horror game that I can't remember the name of. But it had similar mechanics, but in a more grittier style than the "Gameboy" style here, which I tend to appreciate more. In that other game I remember the enemy being some type of rabbit monster or something. Anyway, at first I was not sure when you would ever use the lockers to hide yourself in or the crouch option, so glad that got worked in there. Garfield needs a vet check up.

I've seen the gameplay of the lasagna boy prequel, you into the castles lab, one of the scientists look just as familiar as the one in this game. I guess after Jon defeats Siegfried, escapes the castle, the scientist went his separate way taking most of his research with him. It would seem in the prequel, that that Siegfried character was working with black magic and science. Trying to make some master race of some sort.

Jesus, why did his hand eye's sound like jet engines!? So loud. I hated the pigman the most though, and the scientist. Glad he got what was coming to him.
This "game" never once made the gameplay more interesting, at least in the first 15 minutes (all I could watch without getting bored). Even putting the drawer out in the open was a start, but was used only once
This is a fun concept and it has a good art direction, but this looks repetitive as hell. The hiding behind walls mechanic never was expanded on, and even the monsters never really changed their behavior. At least in the first 15 minutes, which I think is long enough to see some sort of gameplay change.
In God of war you do qtl to make him perform some crazy ass kills and moves. Here the protoganist must have like cerebral palsy if opening a f*cking box requires a qtl from the player.
