This is a really cool game (if you can call it that) for a man who doesn't know how to make a game and doesn't have the benefits of a full-time game developer from a company like EA or Activision.
Well there is a difference between making an experience like the project seen here and a full game, there would still have to be a whole lot added to make it into more than just a walking simulator with some Jurassic Park flavoring.
@@TheMultiversalDip True however, the points I've made are is, two months, limtied money, lack of expirence, and not being paid to full time to make the game but still it was a huge feat.
there is no gameplay loop here... it looks nice but there isn't much of a game
"decent" decent for 2 months yeah but more of an experience then a game
I just for thought - why go through all the troble, spend money and time for the thing you can't even release?

All I wanted is a fan-made remake of the PS2/Xbox/Gamecube/PC Jurassic Park Survival that was canceled in 2001, which was being developed by Savage Entertainment, and would be published by Konami, it would be an action and adventure game inspired by Tomb Raider and Dino Crisis, and it would be based on Jurassic Park 3, Biosyn would be the game's villain, the dinosaurs' AI was very good for the time, and we would have mercenaries trying to kill our character, and would take place on a third secret InGen island with dinosaurs.

@@160sharp I have a HEAVY feeling it will be another linear game. Less like this and more like the final release of Trespasser. Trespasser was supposed to be a survival open-world game too, then got crunched down to big one-way levels.

My God! I have no words to express how I feel watching this video. Dude, you are literally making my dream come true and that of many Jurassic Park fans. The most I managed to do was create modifications for the game Carnivores 2. But what you are doing is IMPOSSIBLE! Your commitment to the fidelity of the original film is perfect! Universall should hire and pay you a fortune for having a project like this that would literally save the JP game franchise from failure, it's revolting that we've never really had a decent open-world, exploratory FPS game. Count on my support to publicize if you manage to publish this complete project, congratulations!

Hey there! I created the map shown in 0:56 a few months ago. It's not fully accurate to the movie or the novel, yes, as it's meant for a project me and a few friends are working on, which is rewriting the novel. I mixed the known movie layout w/ the novel + some original stuff (megaraptor and allosaurus enclosures, etc) to end up with that layout.

The way you talked about making the island and the game would have been the same way that I would have done it. Congrats on an awesome game. Putting the map over it in game and then building over it makes total sense.
You could have milked this game out with some development videos on the process, and even a video that’s nothing but a drive through the game. You could have even made a separate channel and I would have watched the crap out of that.
