All we're missing is the Three Step Authentication, and Crypto dumps, besides I'm all about dat Horny Dragon thing. My AI Dungeon character is more drake than anything, but she is a BEEEG lady and loves to shake it. Some call her The Bone Shaker Babe. After being repeatedly yanked into another dimension over the last couple of weeks, Prudence and Cthulhu probably should have a talk about boundaries. Something like:
"Dad, you can't keep on summoning me whenever you want anymore. I'm all grown up. I have my own life. One of my best friends recently started to enjoy cold blooded murder and war crimes and I wanna be there to support her. You understand that, do you?😈"

Katie leaving half the gold proves my theory that she genuinely loved him. She wasn't poisoning Dob, she was giving him vitamins but his terrible body was just rejecting it.
That or Johnny didn't want them to feel like it was all for not to travel there.
I think in reality at the time of recording, it was more likely the latter, but I too really liked the idea of Katie genuinely just giving Dob milkshakes, vitamins, etc, but because of her life as the Thief Queen the way she says things unintentionally comes across as malicious and suspicious
I would love a one shot with Prudence to see what she was up to with Cthulhu.
yes! I think this would be the perfect thing to do in the hiatus. a one/two shot with some guests showing whatever Cthulhu mission she was on. perhaps retrieving some eldritch secrets from a necromancer's subterranean laboratory or something cosmically horrific like that.
I love how Corazon immediately responded with "pervert dragons" and then everyone about died laughing (including me). I really think he said the first thing that came to mind without even thinking about it until afterward. The whole back and forth about fracking and fossil fuels is also great; and how fracking happened anyway. A most wonderful episode and exactly what I needed after the week I've had. Glad to see Prudence back and caught up with all the fun she missed while in her protection pocket dimension.

Yeah but Stalker though and weird cool powers and sometimes the loot does magical things too. Sometimes they are worth a lot, and others not so much, but it is the core element that shapes a man. Trapezing about the bad lands and persevering through storms. The hard ships and the comrads made along the way. The heart attack sim, and the weirdly intelligent AI. It's all the experience of the average Stalker to the tune of "Don't fuck with me and I'll leave you alone" or sometimes "No I don't want to sell all my stuff and never get it back."

Man, I'd love a one/two shot elaborating what Cthulhu sent Prudence off to do over the last two episodes, and maybe even back in Bad Altitude. Seems like perfect content for the season break: Jane and a couple guests doing something cosmically horrific to further Cthulhu's goals in the mortal realm.

Btw, I think Corazón and a dragon have lots in common. Since he's just as fascinated by treasure hoards and I bet his favourite way to go is by ingesting lots of gold. It makes sense that people think he's attracted to "hot dragons"

I think most dragons would want someone their age or younger. Otherwise the power scale is just off the charts. Dragons get more powerful and then die. No atrophying.

I just need to say, in case anyone in the comments is unclear about it, geothermal drilling and fracking are two completely different activities, and polar opposites when it comes to environmental degradation.
I'm about 30 minutes in and am consistently impressed how no one (OTHER THAN SHATTERSHIELD) seems to have been asking the relevant questions regarding the typical alignments of chromatic as opposed to metallic dragons.
The fact that they went after a chromatic red dragon and not a brass dragon made me think Johnny was setting them up to fail this
Well brass dragons are very gregarious and are highly unlikely to want to stay put. But a red being friendly or amenable? Good luck!
Granted what do these guys know about dragons (with the possible exception of Egbert) or a lot of things really.
Ghosts are common enough but Egbert doesn't believe in them. Even though they've tussled with banshees.
The team regularly relies on experts outside the party so it being Shattershield is fairly on brand.
I was thinking that at first (and wondering if there is a fire element Gem Dragon that might be better than an evil Red) but I remember early on Johnny said they don't like the idea of racial steroetypes so that Chromatic Dragons aren't all evil and Metallic aren't all good. That was a LONG time ago though.

I was watching this one while cooking my lunch for the work week. I almost dropped my ingredients for my casserole from laughing so much within the first 40 minutes. I have a feeling that moments from this episode alone are going to be in a funniest moments list video. Either that, or it births a new list idea called, "Times D&D Players Break Themselves."
Feel bad for Dob. He had to learn from a dead guy that Katie moved on to another suitor...., who she then murders and misuses to get half of other peoples' money. 💔 Corazon and Egbert teamed up as real estate agents and plan masterminds - couldn't stop laughing due to the banter between them. Johnny really outdid themself with the two-step verification pun. Wish I could use that in the office sometime (I work in cybersecurity irl).
Can't wait to see the conclusion this Friday. It'll be just in time for the First Day of Winter a few days later in my area and Christmas weekend the following week. Thank you all so much. Still subscribed.

I love the idea of Flannery being a final boss who the Oxventurers have to face at some point. He's genuinely way more threatening than Liliana or Katie Pearlhead. He is so creepy and instantly makes all the Oxventurers extremely uncomfortable and off balance. 😆

It only stands to reason that the Merilwen figurine would be in such short supply... As for the adventure, when dealing with red dragons our dear friends should be aware that everything you own now becomes THEIR property. red dragons are kind of like an ex-spouse in that regard...
I'd say most dragons are naturally greedy to some capacity anyways. It's their nature. ONLY red, seriously at least it's nowhere near as toxic and the black matte dragon supposedly.

If anyone was wondering, the spell "Comprehend Languages" (1st level) does not allow the caster to _speak_ any language, only _understand_ it. The spell that allows speaking any language is "Tongues" (3rd level).

I think they've basically sent the golden dragon to find where the white dragon is hiding out rather than trek around checking everywhere so I'd guess part of the finale will be that
