Hey man, how do you like your ESP viper? Is it physically heavy? It looks and sounds beautiful. What model exactly is that that you have? I have had my eye on them. A heavy guitar is brutal for my back, I always have to stand to play. Great video!
Thanks man! I love this guitar, it’s been perfect right out of the case. I’d have to guess it’s around 7 to 7 and a half pounds, it does a slight bit of neck dive which I’ve corrected with using a leather strap. I believe it’s just the standard Viper, and from the serial it was made in 2021.
@@jordansguitarchannel3809 right on. Thanks for the info! I dig your vids. I also am the stoked owner of a fireball 100 and the evh 5150 iii but I have the stealth 6L6 instead of the EL34. Keep up the great content. 🤘
i’m currently looking into getting one of these switchers. My current setup is a 5150iii 6l6 into a 2x12. Looking at adding a Laney IRT60H, two questions I have are: Does the switcher have a limit to amp wattage (i’ve seen others that limit to heads 100w & under, both of my amps would fit that threshold but nonetheless) & is it just one singular loop into the pedal for fx, as in I run one gate in my loop right now and one upfront. Would i still only need just that one gate in the loop and it would switch it between both heads? Great video & riffing! (sorry if you already addressed this in the video & i missed it)
Yeah man no problem. You can definitely run just one gate as your pedal board is connected straight to the pedal, and switches with whatever amp you choose. I’m gonna link the manual for you to check out because I don’t actually know about the wattage deal. I was running a 100w head and a 50 watt head with no issues. Hope this helps, any other questions feel free to ask! mesa-boogie.imgix.net/media/User%20Manuals/070552-HeadTrack-web.pdf

Thanks man, that’s high praise! 🤘

@@jordansguitarchannel3809 thank you so much!
You’re welcome!
Brother, what is that tuning?
Killer riffage !
Thanks Brother! I’m in Standard E!
the engl sounds killer are you using a od with it or straight in??.
Thanks bro! I’m running the Fortin Tempest and a digital delay to fatten it up a bit.
@@jordansguitarchannel3809 awesome
what strings do you normally use?
D’Addario. For standard tuning I use the 10-46 XL, for drop tunings I use 11-52 or 12-54 NYXL. Been using them for years with no issues.
