- Just a video of the steps involved in setting a up a Light Lifter , Winch , System to a Chandelier.
Notice that this one had 2 pipes instead of one, which complicates things ,
So glad I stumbled upon this video and grateful that you posted it. Where are you located? I bought a very similar flush mount chandelier and was not sure if it could work with a winch. I spoke to two electricians in my area and one said winches/lifts don't work with flush mounts, another said no problem they work. I was skeptical and even called Aladdin Light Lifts and they told me with a 32" canopy of the fixture I have, they would need to make a custom contact plate, since the largest stock they made was 24". So, as best as I can tell from the video, it looks like you are using a normal (maybe 5") contact plate for the winch, which is connected to the light fixture and contact plate with about a 5-8" chain? The contact plate then goes into the hole in the ceiling such that the light fixture canopy sits flush with the ceiling? Is that about right?
Which model winch is that?
Where do I buy that chandelier?
ALL The chandaliers we have ever put in ( like 30 ) customer buys them all from CHINA, Different customers, Same China, the BEST ONE i ever seen was called A GRAND CHANDALIER
I bought this exact same one, hired an electrician who charged me $1000 for spending two days / 3 technicians just to tell me the unit doesn’t work. I am so frustrated
you hired a idiot, it's a 1 day job, ALSO if you RELEASE TENSION on the pully , you''ll mess it up, that's why the instruction say to ALWAYS have 25lbs of weight connected to it,
I think we charged 1,500$ for installing the Winch, and hanging the Chandalier,
We done so many that we show up with everything ready to go up, 8 hr job
How much this lift cost?
The GOOD HUSBAND is going for about 600-800$ usually the customer supplies the WINCH and the Chandalier, We just charge them 1,500$ to install into a Exisiting Light
