i really love the promised consort although the battle involved is one of the hardest bosses ive ever faced, all the ones your fan picked are great songs too and all my homies love igon.
To give more context for Messmers theme without spoiling a whole lot he is a demigod who was raised by his mother Marika to wage a crusade on her behalf while becoming a symbol of fear for his mothers enemies. Messmers theme is a dark rendition of elden rings main theme. For his first phase the theme is very "tired" to put in simple terms he has been waging a crusade for who knows how long maybe even hundreds or perhaps thousands of years while being abandoned by the women who put him there. For his second phase Messmer is broken and in disbelief that we the player have made it to him because us being there goes against everything his mother has made him do. You can hear his descent especially when the brass and choir come in.
Given that the events of the game officially take place about 5,000 years after The Shattering? Yeah, I'd say Messmer has good reason to be tired. He's been fighting his mother's crusade for AT LEAST that long.
Someying I'd like you to know about the first half of promised consort is a new version of a previous boss in the game. Even to the musically illiterate the music takes an increidbly somber tone towards the end in the original theme as the boss lost himself and had to be put down. He deserved glory yet he as reduced to an animal. Here in this new version of the song he is reborn. Beautiful, powerful. Majestic. Instead of the low somber tone of his original theme, promised consort is blazing on all highs. Fully glory. Full power. Hes back and returned to his former awe. I was squealing like a girl listening to the theme as we fought because it was amazing to see him this way despite the unfortunate circumstances
If you liked hearing the voice acting over the music maybe you could consider watching game Scenes that go with Game themes, could be an interesting angle for thr channel.

Please do "Those United in Common Cause" at some point, such a fun track.
Your reaction to just look my way brought me here.
The premise of your channel kept me here.
CURSE YOU BAYLE!
I first saw your reaction to halo 3 ODST’s tracks, then Reach, Elden Ring, and currently this… and now you’re gonna/are/have a reaction to Hazbin Hotel and Helluva???
Hell yeah, im subscribed now lol
i’d recommend listening to some popular armored core osts :)
So glad Igon is intrinsicly tired to the Bayle OST now!
If you think this dlc music is great, I’d also recommend the Witcher 3. Its base game and dlc music is so powerful and epic. And it’s from a Polish influence. So it’s a nice new style to get into if you haven’t before
You'd definitely love Dark souls 3 music.
I would love to see you play these games so you can experience these songs the way we all did the first time. I think that makes the music hit even harder.
“CURRRRRRRSE YOU BAAAAYLLEEE!!!!!!!” the meme that I heard about before I even tried fighting Bayle xD
*Clears throat* CURSE YOU BAYLE!
yall need to stop requesting these shitty fan edits with dialogue forced in or fire sound effects forced in (Laurence!)
one really slept on track from the OST is St Trina's theme..highly recommend it- it's very somber and beautiful.
Yay! More Elden Ring!
Whoa, whoa, took me a minute to come back from that one...*whoa*. And it's storming outside here as well, what ambience!
That was incredible though, hoooly crapballs. I am possibly even more shook than I was after watching the original Elden Ring vid. Just...whoa.
Very nice Lineup, i hope you do more Elden Ring.
As well as does Asura’s Wrath too at some point.
If you liked any of these songs from Elden Ring, I would love to see your reactions to Dark Souls 3's OST. It's still my favorite out of all of them.
This is how Miquella compels affection. Just by playing this music
He actually HeartStole the composers and now they create music for his gospel spread
Is it just me or do i hear a 5 rythem at 25:35? 1 / / 2 / / 1 / 2 / 3 / 1 / / 2 / / 1 / 2 / 3.
Pretty neat to hear. Also this being the last dlc boss reminds me of godrick's ost, the first remembrence boss with his 7 beat tempo in phase 2.
“Herat Stolen”
Another crab's treasure ost next it's up your alley
CURSE YOU, BAYLE!!!!
I HEREBY VOW, YOU SHALL RUE THIS DAY. BEHOLD, A TRUE DRAKE WARRIOR!! AND I, IGON!
YOUR FEARS, MADE FLESH.
SOLID OF SCALE YOU MIGHT BE, FOUL DRAGON, BUT I WILL RIDDLE WITH HOLES YOUR ROTTEN HIDE.
WITH A HAIL OF HARPOONS!!!
WITH EVERY LAST DROP OF MY BEING!!!!!!!!
GRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
BAYLE THE DREAD... YOU SHALL HAUNT ME NO LONGER
"My entire soul is yours,"
yup, same here
"Let your thoughts be only of love"
*HEART STOLEN*
26:34 uncannily appropiate reaction
Didn't expect the first thing you react to is Bayle the Dread with the dialogue on 😅 it scared me for a bit there.
Edit:
After this, I recommend you to react one of Fromsofts older legacy, Dark Souls series;
Dark Souls 1:
Smough and Ornstein theme
Gwyn, Lord of Cinder theme
Artorias of the Abyss
Great Wolf Sif theme
Nameless Song
Dark Souls 2:
Majula
Dark Souls 3:
Main Menu theme
Iudex Gundyr
Firelink Shrine
Vordt of the Borreal Valley
Abyss Watchers
Yhorm the Giant
Sister Friede
Darkeater Midir
Slave Knight Uncle Gael
Soul of the Lords of Cinder (Soul of Cinder for short, I just want to call the title like that, note you can't parry this)
Epilogue The Ringed City Version.
Hun, you were on the money with your analysis with the themes, you nailed what every boss was going for and you didn't even play the game bravo 👏
Perfect reaction to promised consort. Miquella the kind approves
