Professor, my teacher taught that I can turn with both legs in the air only if he turns slowly around me, but if he turns fast I must use the leg on the same side of the turn to move and the other leg to keep it even higher as a shield, is this correct ?
Hi, Miguel. There are a few variations for the technical stand-up. What I showed are the basics so you can practice by yourself. But if your teacher told you something different, I recommend you to believe in him. There are many ways to do something right in jiu-jitsu. And everyone has a different approach which is great for the sport. All the best! 🤜🤜
