I think now is the time for you to listen to the more serious approach like Hate/Love, Mindreader, Parasite and MC Thunder 1+2 from EC. 😊

I so appreciate your technical/musical commentary and explanations. I'm getting into electronic music production myself, and I've already learned a lot from you that I need to learn! Plus…Electric Callboy is so awesome and inspiring! Thank you for everything!

Not sure where you are in USA but they got 6 or 8 dates in USA planned already, you will love them live the drummer (David Friedrich) does a great solo to Darude's Sandstorm. Worth price of admission alone!!

GAH, my comment disappeared. TL;DR: Thanks for the commentary, I love their mastery of the single entendre too, they tour North America! They're coming to the the East Coast of the US in May and there are tickets available for Boston, Chicago, NYC. And if you're not close to those areas, they'll be back.

Theory why we let the juvenile humour fly and find it even funny: Solid, if not high production value, well-crafted music and singing, and deadpan/serious delivery. They perform and deliver this song as if it's a love song - energetic/passionate but also sensual (think of Breakthru from Queen. No, not because I want to compare the bands or the voices, Freddie wins that one, always. But for the type of love song I'm meaning. Wait a second, that video...train...never mind). Singing those goofy lyrics with that much earnestness makes it funny.
Secondly, it's all at the narrator's expense, which, combined with the aforementioned point, makes it even funnier. The clumsy rhyming adds to that. And the imagery - I do not think that a "ready spaghetti" is exactly the kind of metaphor a dude should go with if they unironically want to advertise their, well. You know. "Lipstick on my feet" - my dude, what the heck are you into [despite feet being one of the most common fetishes, it's also the one people tend to react to with instant disgust, so it's the safest and weirdest choice at the same time]? Lolli pop - my dude, are you twelve? Whose love letter to a crush when they were 13 inspired the lyrics. And the whole 69 P(i)nV Climax part arriving early, yeah, that is not a brag. It's also definitely not how metal songs about the power of manhood would usually go.
But all of this delivered with this expression as if it was the smoothest flirtation, embedded in those breakdowns, then the height of baby talk for the hardest part of the breakdown makes it funnier than less silly lyrics could. It's really an artwork of contrasts and inverted tropes.

I always appreciate your analysis! 🙏
It's interesting to me what you say about the lyrics being so over the top that it becomes funny/enjoyable again: this was originally one of the few songs on the Tekkno album that had no video yet when the album dropped, and I initially hated this song, I thought it was way over the top, sexist, whatever (not blaming EC, this is a me thing). Then the video comes out, and suddenly I get it, the lyrics and the visuals work perfectly together, and now it is one of my favorite EC songs 😊 The visuals help a lot in conveying the tone, is what I guess I'm trying to say.
I don't know how to hear the transition from four-to-the-floor to halftime when the metal part kicks in (musical noob here), if anyone can explain that a bit further, that would be appreciated!
    Thanks for your video! 🤗💚

You have to react to their song Hurrikan!! You will think wtf and then love it 😂 Also please react to all the other songs, MC Thunder, Spaceman, Pump it, Hypa Hypa (and all it's cover versions, especially the one from Saltatio Mortis). I'll leave a sub here to not miss it!

Electric Callboy is the epitome of "do not take yourself so seriously" and bro your reaction, you need some more EC in your life cuz you got the vibes of taking yourself too seriously
