Tank, thank you soooo much for your reaction on our track. It really means a lot to all of us, really looking forward to meet you one day. Greetings from Germany, Silas of Statefall 💜
You know you're HUGE when your reaction to a video get's almost double the views in 3 hours than the actual video in 10 days. Thanks for promoting these guys with this! I wasn't aware they existed and this sounded pretty cool.
You are absolutely right man. Its amazing. I think Tank has/had even more followers than Electric Callboy :D Love he interaction between reactors and bands nowadays. Everybody wins. Especially its not your typical influencer product selling.
@@TankTheTech Prog will be holding onto them, though that isn't played in the way one thinks of bass most of the time. Weird how there are fewer and fewer bands that have them. I wouldn't even have noticed if it wasn't for your channel!
I normally dont listen to metalcore with male vocals, but its really the singers voice and changeups in singing style who stands out and make this song so cool. plus the sick music video.
The guy who mastered it, "Christoph" is the lead vocalist of my favourite band Annisokay. If you haven't checked them out, you should definitely at some point :)
We bass players need to step up our recruiting game. Our parts are about as necessary as they come (also why you keep the bassist fed, that way they'll be kept happy)
Their other video, Letdown, definitely has more mass-market-appeal vibes. Made me think of what you said about EC's Mindreader in that I could totally see it getting radio play.
Hey Tank, you absolutely have to listen to Kanonenfieber and their new song Kampf und Sturm! Discovered them today and was absolutely mindblown! (Small band tho, therefore I'm probably alone with my suggestion :D )
You need an “on air” sign on the door while you’re recording- or maybe like giant flashing lights! Your wife is always walking into the show, lol. The only exception? If she walks in with more cookies. That’s the only time she can interrupt, lol. 😂😂😂
The clean vocals sound good. He’s got some great melodies w/ it. If u listen closely, his vocals are a little nasally in the cleans, which tells that he’s using his head voice in the chorus.
I'm surprised Tank hasn't done a reaction for Synestia/Disembodied Tyrant releases "I, The Devourer" and "The Poetic Edda." tbf he was on tour for a while and all that, but would love to see that.
Since you have matured beyond looking quite so much like Brody the Roadie you are now ready my friend. Listen to the forgotten masterpiece that is "Found a Child" by Ballin' Jack. Curious how many of the legendary hits spawned by it that you can hear in the riffs.
Sorry forgot you should be doing the same thing as him either advertise your band or keep an eye open and see if there's people looking for someone keep passing your name and number out when on the road with bands. If I had a band I would kill to have someone like you or you in it. I've only been watching your channel for a few months yes I subscribed lol but like me you seem like an easy going good guy.
Assuming no cookies this time 😅 What's weird is this sounds familiar (like as in I swear I've heard this specific song before), but I haven't the foggiest idea from where. I'll have to look them up
I could see this band opening for Motionless in White could work. Also a couple of parts of the song remind me of an earlier Motionless in White. Also since your friends with the guitarist why not ask to be their touring bass player or perhaps just the US tours perhaps.
I liked it... and on a day where i really need to go through my workout playlist and get rid of some of this "newer" metalcore, as I feel the same way. There is some REALLY GREAT stuff out there, modern or a little older but much of the new stuff lately just sounds so stagnet, so yeah, I am with Tank on the opinion of modern-day metalcore. However, what of it I do like, I LOVE... So there is that...
well... these days everybody and their mother uses drop tuned 7(8) string guitars, so the lack of bass guitar is not that big of a hit... but yeah, it's sad... a good bass player can really make a difference... take for example Eugene from Jinjer...
Would you consider checking out one of our most famous punk rock bands for decades now, „die Ärzte“? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 for your German band playlist?! They are a German institution. Always clever or ridiculous texts, they produced some real radio bangers, e.g. „Junge“, „unrockbar“ (absolute banger with a bit heavier guitar playing) or one of their most famous songs „Schrei nach Liebe“ or one of their more recent , more fun sounding songs „Ich, am Strand“. A piece with a bit more guitar playing would be „Wie es geht“ it’s a lovesong. That would be SO COOL ❤ Leave you a like here for the algorithm 🙏🏻 PS: I forgot one of their also recent bangers: True Romance 💝 Such an earworm!! PPS: They even played an intro music piece to our distinguished news show on public broadcast to bring attention to struggling artists during COVID.
@@TankTheTech They also feature one of my all time favorite phrases: "Frisch gestrichene Damen" from the song M&F. Something about the sentiment behind the phrasing tickles me to no end. Their humor is right up my alley.
The light on this song was a little weird, made the dutch vocalist at times look like a infamous german politician of the 1933 to 1945 timeline. Other than that i really liked this song 😅
I do like it, but at the same time it feels like I've heard it many times before. So not the most original song I guess - which is totally fine, not every band has to re-invent music. And they are not doing what every Metalcore band is doing right now.
thats fucked cause I was going to say the base at the beginning was awesome. No band should start a song with killer base like this when the base is prob a fucking computer.
@@TankTheTech go check them out! Currents is very good. Great bunch of dudes and the music is killer. However, to your point, all metalcore basically sounds the same. Currents is no different. Good, but not groundbreaking. My favorite song of theirs is Another Life. It’s a banger.
The mix doesn't sound like they nailed it. I think there's potential for more and screams are too high in average for me but that's just personal taste.
Very well done technically. Unfortunately I don't like it, for me it's too melodic and hence for me personally boring. But they should do well in general, quite radio friendly I think.
Bad Omens already exist and Noah’s sense of style can not be replicated (vocalist outfit looks like something Noah would wear and he’s also doing the one glove thing that Noah does). Going to be a hard pass for me.
Nah....not that great. Too generic. Nothing that stands out for me. I'm still hooked on Orbit Culture. Of all the stuff that's out these days OC is the only thing that got my attention.
Tank, thank you soooo much for your reaction on our track. It really means a lot to all of us, really looking forward to meet you one day. Greetings from Germany, Silas of Statefall 💜
I've already seen it on Twitch, so here's the comment and like for the algorithm.
this worked. you were top comment in the preview!
Their bassist is a real machine!
I see what you did there.
Put a "Do not disturb" sign on the outside of the door when you're recording :)
Or a "On Air" sign to light up like at a radio/TV station
The way they stack/overlap the singing and harsh vocals as they transition between different sections of the song is soooo cool
Me within the first 5 seconds: "I'm in."
Thanks for putting us on, excited to see what else they come out with

To me this sounds like every band on the last few years of the warp tour
Here's hoping they can find a bass player😂
Bass players are gonna be extinct in another few years.

What about missing keyboarders 🧐
I checked out their other single and its just as good. Ill be keeping in my radar from now on. Always good to hear something familiar but new.
Guitar and screams give me Currents vibes. So I definitely dig it.
yooo this is sick! I’ve been listening to Statefall right from the first release. they are really good so I’m glad they’re getting more attention🔥🔥🔥
Definitely adding to my rotation 🤘

yup, thank you tank for promoting, this one goes right into my playlist.
I made some people take the cards at the Phoenix show! So glad I did, both their songs have been amazing so long.
Have been big fan since their first single realase day (1.9)
Not sure if you'll see this Tank, but what's the name of the bad you featured in the intro that almost gave me a heart attack? Cheers always!
That was a song called "Sprechen Sie Deutsch, Bitch" by Outerspass. 😂
@@TankTheTech you legend. Many thanks.

Old time hustle still gets the best results I feel. Word of mouth and sharing by fans is the best.
Love Statefall
Not a big metal core fan, but the mix and production were really good. Did enjoy the breakdown.

good stuff.
reminds me of a heavier Starset with R'ahs but as @honeynetalove said within 5 secs :I'm in ..
❤

This song really slaps.
🎉🎉
l loved it and added the 2 tracks they has on spotify to my liked songs list l already listen to breath atlantis on spotify
Can't stand the music you like but love your style and channel.

quite the bop, it's good.
I like it. The voice does stand out but it’s all good. A few bands lately have been overshadowed by guitars. Dreamshade is a good example.

Spiritbox vibes, imo

They are like a heavy QOTSA
Breath Atlantis was a epic band
Has a cool Velvet Revolver influence vibe

Beast in Black is the same with their singer Yannis, it was youtube.
Not too shabby i like it but they need a bass player😊
Unless you have Tosin Abasi or Javier Reyes in your band, you need a bass player lol.
Hey tank, have you checked out the new spiritbox song "cellar door" yet?
I mostly dont like Metalcore with cleanvocals but man this is realy nice
Awsome band great sound.
Not like we have ever heard of a good Dutch singer! 😉
And Electric Callboy is presented as one of the first band on Sweden Rock 2024.
So welcome to Sweden Tank??

+1 for Die Ärzte. It does take some decent language skills though to get the nuances and double-entendres.
@@Kay_McKay yeah but I figure Tank made some decent progress with German 👍 Also we can translate or maybe there are subs.
Pretty well versed in Die Ärzte, believe it or not. 🤘

Your wife walking in was so cute😂😂❤
Falling In Reverse and Bullet For My Valentine, have the best bass players.
@tankthetech Any chance you would rect to the newest Lord of the lost release?
One last song?
The "Guten Tag, sprechen sie Deutsch?" at the beginning killed me xD
Is the singer cosplaying as Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh? Lol
The light on this song was a little weird, made the dutch vocalist at times look like a infamous german politician of the 1933 to 1945 timeline.

Likiliki like it❤
Very similar to Northlane from Australia
Never hear the bass players in the mix anyway....is what my band tells me lol.
They are going to start BPBPs in zoos (Bass Players Breeding Programs) 😂😂😂
He looks like James from Dead Meat. Uncanny...
man, with the black and white thumnail i thought he died

thats fucked cause I was going to say the base at the beginning was awesome. No band should start a song with killer base like this when the base is prob a fucking computer.
Lead voice does stand out but I'm not digging the cleans at all. The cleans on the hook are better but I can't get into his voice on the verses.
Tank, this sounds like Currents and it’s so painfully obvious to me
Well, I've never listened to Currents so I wouldn't get that frame of reference.

I hate bleeghs. Kudos for not using that horrible noise.
linkin park style refrain

Women eh they def ruin us but in the end they have that certain thing or 2 that we love so much and they know it lol.
It needs a bass, it sounds too 'high end' to me.
Not my cup of tea sounds like Emohardpop.
They aren't for me
I'm getting so sick and tired of that drum sound.

Yikes..
Good music and screams but clean vocals sounds thin in my ears.
