I have seen them live twice now. It is one big party, everybody is singing and dancing, dressed up in crazy clothes and wigs. It is fantastic. You can't leave that concert without a smile from ear to ear. And yes, they have a small ballad-interlude live, and it is awesome too!
Their concert last year was the most fun I've had in a long time 🤩

These guys sell out arenas in Germany at this point. Tank the Techs Tour vlogs are a great source for some BTS, if you are interested. And yes, their live shows are a two hour long party. I usually stand in the back at metal shows because I don't want to end up in a moshpit and during the EC show, I did not see the stage once - and I didn't mind one bit.
The band has some live performances on UA-cam that give you a good impression. I would recommend "We got the moves" as it's such a vibe live.

"Fun" is exactly what to expect from EC! Nico and Kevin both do cleans and screams, even though Nico does most of the cleans and Kevin does most of the screams.
Mindreader is a slightly different/less energetic party vibe song they do (one of my personal faves)

Yeah it was a massive party. I was probably one of the oldest people in the 6000 crowd. They do take breaks, they also have costume changes so that gives them & the crowd a bit of a breather. But yeah it was a frantic 2 hours of my life lol

The thing I love about them is they take what they do seriously.... They do not take themselves seriously. It's the best. Check out "We Got The Moves" live in Denver, that shows you all you need to know. "Parasite" is a great example of them doing a more no silly/serious song and it is a banger. But we come for the silly and they bring the party!
Their productions are top notch!
That's exactly the Beastie Boys formula; don't take yourself too seriously, but take the music and the craft very seriously. It allows you the creative freedom to create and also the tools to create with. Otherwise, you're just goofing off. :)

Unfortunately I haven't seen them live yet but they made a concert movie out of the European 2023 Tekkno Tour, I watched it at the theatre two weeks ago. It's technically the live setlist but filmed at different locations. At the beginning of each song they show the title and where it was filmed (city and venue). There are two "breaks", well kind of. An accoustic section with Nico (clean vocalist) singing, Kevin (harsh vocalist) doing some backing vocals while playing the (p€nis shaped) piano and guitarist Daniel H. (the one with short short hair) playing saxophone or accoustic guitar (I'm not 100% sure but maybe Pascal, the other guitarist, does play too). And then there is the (highly recommended as the video is on YT) drum solo (aka Kurwa Song [inside joke from their vlogs]) which is played by David over a remix of Darude's Sandstorm. The only song that is not as high energy as the rest (which doesn't mean it's a ballad) is Fckboi. On the studio version it features the America based, multi national all female metalcore band Conquer Divide. On the 2023 US tour, Conquer Divide was the opener so lead singer Kia joined them for the song. In Europe, Future Palace (German post-hardcore/ alternative rock band) was the support band and their lead singer Maria did the female part.
By the way, the profits from the movie will benefit the EC Music School for socially disadvataged kids.
I saw them in Denver in September at 3,600 capacity venue was sold out. Not loudest, biggest, or most intense concert I have been to... but easily the most fun!! You would love the drum solo where he does a great performance to the song 'Sandstorm' by Darude. Lots of people dressed in 1980's workout gear and bowlcut wigs. Mix between moshing/ jumping, dancing in crowd just like their songs with Nico and Kevin doing interaction between song with crowd when they are not changing into clothes from videos. Also, they do a 10 minute break where bring out piano and sing that famous song from Frozen movie 'Let it Go', and Back Street Boys "I want it that away". Ending with 'We Got The Moves' in their concerts is great, had everyone walking out with a smile on their face!! When I think EC, it is about good times, fun, positivity, and great community that shows up to concerts.
Saw them 3 times live, insane energy for the whole show. The band is clearly having a blast and so is the audience - pure joy and positive vibes. There’s a brief acoustic interlude (and everyone but David, the drummer, gets a break during his solo) but otherwise it’s hours of pedal to the metal energy. Get ye to one of their North America dates in May if you can!
If you want to hear them calmer, Neon (no video but gorgeous song), Prism (old singer), or Fckboi are slightly less of a punch on the face. Two of their more serious songs/videos, Parasite and Mindreader, have sick drum parts you might enjoy - not to mention the live version of the Kurwa song (drum solo) from Cologne!
Going to the show in May at the Filmore. Can’t wait
If you want a ballad Prism is a good choice. The official music video has their old singer Sushi doing the main vocals. If you still want to stick with Nico for a bit there is a live version on EC's channel of them performing in Munich. It's a very lovely song and definitely different from the party songs ❤

there's another group that you might find interesting called Nanowar of Steel. This is another group that has fun and doesn't take themselves seriously but great musicians. The first song to see is "Valhalleluja" or "Norwegian Reggaeton"

Hi Teck, new subscriber from Germany! I'm here for my two favorite bands Nightwish and Electric Callboy.
A few facts about Electric Callboy:
Nico Sallach is the singer with the clean vocals, Kevin Ratajczak does the harsh vocals, but they can both do both and support each other.
The two guitarists are Pascal Schillo (he and his brother have a production company called "Schillo brothers" which produces almost all of EC's videos) and Daniel Haniß.
The bassist is Daniel Klossek and the drummer is David Friedrich.
I was at my first EC concert nearly two months ago and it was amazing, a great atmosphere, just joy, fun and positive vibes from start to finish. I was also at their cinema premiere of their concert film in Essen. They took an incredible amount of time for the fans and are very down to earth and personable. The guys are not only musically good, they are just super nice and funny.
Since you play drums yourself, a reaction to David's drum solo ("Kurwa song" live) would be nice.
I also recommend that you listen to acoustic stuff from EC (e.g. "Prism" live in Munich or "Pump it"). The more serious songs are also worth a reaction, my favorite is Mindreader. Have fun!

It is a big party live for sure! They do take a little breather with an acoustic set in the middle though 😂 if you wanna watch something softer I'd say the live acoustic version of Prism would be a good one! And just keep going through all their MVs they're all worth it!

I love how the drums in the chorus mimic the sound of a steam train - very few people seem to notice, or at least mention it
Saw them live last year in Santa Ana, there is footage of the full concert available (including all the supports).
These guys are such a party. That choo-choo-choo gets me every time Try Electric Callboy's Everytime We Touch... it's almost a ballad...??
If you want innuendo, try Uranus by Nanowar of Steel. (They do humor music, and kind of parodying different styles. Always have subtitles for that group.) The jokes/puns practically write themselves.
Nico is the main clean vocals you can hear and Kevin does the screams but they both do a bit of each!
They support reactors as well. There are some loopholes like pausing every 30 seconds, slightly blocking the video etc. Have a look at what other reactors are doing 😁
The rock intro is a big improvement 😁

I have yet to see them live, but I watched their vlogs and Tank´s vlogs. Also their live videos and concerts. And they are definitely non stop party. But they do some softer songs live too. Check out this for a more chill vibe: Prism Acoustic LIVE (Munich ON STAGE POV) . But yeah, they are almost non stop energy on stage. :D And would love to see you react/check out all their vlogs 8)

I've been with my two teenage sons a month ago. We were just in front of the stage... Man, that was a wild ride! Tekkno train was the show opener, and it became wilder every minute ❤ It was literally a huge party! Never seen so many cheerful people around 🥰 Also, never wore a wig and fake moustache before 😆 neithed did my sons. This was the best party we've had together - even our last year trip to Rammstein concert doesn't compare 😁

@@teckreactions Hope they respond to you soon or put you on their "clear" list or what its called. I see others react and they get it up right away. And many are without pauses too. So the pauses are definitely not the problem. But it's good they come out though. Maybe they have too much to do now before the NA tour, and haven't had time to answer. Don't know how many is on the management team for stuff like that. :)
