Great video, and nice new lock! For security, I'm wary if the new board is secured well enough by those screws. Standard wood 2x4s are pretty soft, and if it's easy to hand chisel it's possibly easy to shear the deadbolt receiver and those screws connecting to the framing with enough human force since it's a tiny plank compared to the framing of the house. Nails have much less shear than screws, so if one wanted to go all out this could be done with harder wood, nails, and brackets. Could make the difference between a full-force break-in taking 5 seconds compared to minutes. Of course, I am just splitting hairs especially if you're in a very low break-in area.
For the encode plus, you get 2 "boxes" correct? And they both go on the outside right? One has the numbers and the other has the handle. So, what goes on the inside when you want to lock up the door and how do you open up the door from the inside? When you enter the code, does the door pop open or do you have to use the handle? And do you have to use the WiFi or can you just use the keypad with a code?
So far not happy with mine. I can open the door with my phone(home key). When I try with my Apple Watch. I get the check mark ✅. But the door does open. ???

@ mine ended up working when I reset everything and started over.
We moved into a fixer upper home and the front door is damaged like that. We are going to replace it.
That's your call but you don't HAVE to replace it. You can fix it.
