Wow..there's way more to electrical then I thought. Maybe I should stick with springer mods for a little longer. After jacking my Finisher up I'm kind of gunshy(no pun intended 🤣)to open another. Although I did open the Zuru Micro-shot last night. Another simple AR removal but it's so satisfying to see the performance go up after tinkering with a blaster. I'm getting a solid 10-15 ft extra distance. It's also much more consistent. The FPS was jumping all over the place with the AR. Without there doesn't seem to be more then a few fps deviation. Oh and I threw some tape under the o-ring. I'm still lacking a lot of the tools I think would be necessary for electrical mods as well. I might feel a little more confident once I know I have most the tools for the job! 😂🔫 Oh and once again thanks for inspiring me to try modding. I've had ups, and after the Finisher, downs but the ups definitely outweigh the downs.
I’m glad you’re enjoying it (most of the time) haha. Keep at it, eventually it all starts clicking, like with any hobby. I should do a video on all the things it’s ideal to have. If you’re ever looking for a fun book, Luke’s book on Nerf modding from out of darts is great to have! It might be on Amazon as well.
@@maritimefoam oh cool thanks for the heads up! I'd like to have that. I have a question for you, knowing what you know about the Ultra 1, how much would you pay for it, max, on marketplace? The person that I was gonna get one from messaged me back, said they made a mistake on price (was 5 bucks), and that they couldn't go lower than 20.
You two guys definitely sold me on NiMH batteries (your Mach-100 9.6v was awesome BTW). I think there’s something about NiMH that just seems to work better with Nerf’s electronic systems over Lithium batteries.
@@techcenter9191 the chemical properties of NiMH make it more of a forgiving cell and the slight lag in current provide a healthy balance for any circuit to flow naturally as it would with Alkaline but without the drop in torque when the flywheels bite foam. I think for me as well there is something to the fact that they don’t require quite as much caution. Especially for beginners, lipos are intimidating and you really do need to be careful. I mean, respect all batteries, but still :)

following to see how long this lasts or if a sturdier board is required. i have a regulator and want to use it as my endwar/all HVZ primary as a member of teh auxliary but i need the select fire maintained or at least the semi and full auto maintained.
Still going. I did order the sturdier board to install in another one. I might put in a switch in this one to bypass the board in case it burned out just in case. No guarantees with this mod unfortunately haha
It's a 9.6v NIMH off amazon, and I switched it to am XT60 connector. I have a mod guide for doing this to a rapid strike with links and more detail. :)

Do you mind me asking if you know how much voltage goes towards the beam break IR emitter and receiver because im modding my regulator with a arduino and It would be helpful if I know the voltage so i dont fry them.
lol mine broke right as I plugged in the battery, even discharged to 9v (9.6v nominal) checked continuity but the impedance was reading 3 ohms. The board that splits the red wire was getting hot so definitely something went bad. rip
That’s a bummer. Someone sent me a diagram for a safe way to wire it without the upgrade board, I just haven’t had a chance. Mind does still work, but it was a 9.6v NIMH

Sorry for the orientation on desktop all, just trying something new on TikTok but wanted my UA-cam peeps to be able to find it :)
Any update after 1 year of 9 volts? did it last?

Where do you get the snap on connector to the 6 aa tray? The one I got the wires are tiny so doubt they’ll hold up, yours look like a higher gauge
Used what came with it. Since they came with it I assume it’ll hold up :)

So neat! What about using one of those flat 9v batteries used in smoke detectors? Will they work?
For a minute maybe. Those 9vs are better for testing, they don’t have the juice for a baffle.
Where can i find the individual pieces?

Such a cool mod!
I’ve been loving these mods getting all my old favourite blasters into 100 FPS territory :)
I love how you always do this with blasters, it's just so unique and cool
@@ejgaming901 thank you! Lots more I want to try, it may get old eventually but I’m easily amused!
Xt60? Or 30
Could I just use 9v Block-Batteries?
Well, yes, but they would run out pretty fast.
what battery pack and connector and charger is this and where can we get one?

@@jujuu1339 I have a diagram from someone with a safer way to wire this, I can share it, I haven't done it yet though!
What do you think about using imr’s? Like 3?
I generally avoid IMRs since if I’m going to deal with battery safety I’ll just go lipo, but I fear someone mixing them into regular battery supply.
Do you think it is ok to use 2IMRs and 2 recharable aa for 9.6 volts?
Is this still working with all the stock components?
Yup. There are ways to wire more safety around the board, but I’ve had no issues
How is the battery charged?
I use a universal charger I use for my lipos, but the charger for the Rival Perses works; or there are a bunch on Amazon for Tamiya connections.
what is regulator name or model?
The regulator is called the Regulator:)
I forgot about this! Is it still alive? 🤣🔫
