- In this elden ring video I'm testing whether any of the main bosses in the game can survive the strongest runebear.
To test this I chose the variation of runebear that is found in the consecrated snowfield and ambushes you, which has 2 unique skills that are very powerful; a leap charge and an AOE roar.

@@seanwalker4149 it's cut content that he counted down from 6 (still in the files just inactive). I'm assuming Bjorn had it active already and didn't do it specifically for this video but idk. In this case I think the program just went wonky with it since it's modded to let them fight and it just didn't pair well for some reason.
He actually just went crazy for some reason and I edited in the lines later lol

I love how the leap attack gives it like a second of hang time in the air. Most likely done to give the player a chance to react, but it makes it look like even gravity itself struggles to contain the insanity that is the -cocaine- Runebear!
Nah the second of hang time is to make me roll too early because I'm trying to anticipate normal physics
It's a little cathartic watching the bosses also struggle with rune bears. Gideon getting beaten out of his dialogue is incredibly entertaining. Also hard not to chuckle every time ol RB does it's leaping attack.

The Runebear getting fucked up by Placidusax is such a cathartic sight to bear witness to. Bro was like "sit the fuck down, poser."

Mogh out there having an Alucard moment letting the enemy tear him to shreds just to really flex on them when he starts trying, Godfrey being Elden Gigachad, and Astel showing that bear the difference between a Consecrated Snowfield boss and a Consecrated snowfield random encounter were my favorite fights I think.

So basically this bear only lost because those bosses have more high damage super spells, otherwise most of them have no chance? This bear has end game boss stats.... that explains a lot. Don't feel bad for losing to him guys

The jump attack at 30:37 was so awesome. Absolutely perfect angle and so cool how the elden beast started glowing as soon as he jumped.

Honestly I thought it would do better at it too. those claw swipes with the exploding orbs. I was expecting the exploding orbs to really hurt due to the bear's size, but it seems like only 1 would hit it still or whatever.

For Malenia, I'm guessing the Swallow Dance kept glitching out.
If you watch closely, every sword hit from malenia does it's damage, but bounces off the bear like it's made of titanium. He set the bear to have some sort of armor just for malenia, which is lame. Not a single one of her attacks fully follow through because her sword acts like it's hitting a wall every time

There’s a lot of animals in elden ring you don’t want to mess with but the strongest rune bear is a definite NOT.
The only I way I killed runebears so far was from the high ground XD And they are not even really worth it.
