- In this elden ring video I'm testing if any of the strongest bosses in elden ring can survive the dragonkin soldier of nokstella.
Considering that this very cool boss is normally also very weak I decided to upscale it to the highest scaling this boss has in the game which is in the consecrated snowfield area. So that we can actually enjoy some good battles.

Dragonkin battle tactics:
1. Scream for the first 10 seconds of the fight. This is mandatory.
2. Get hit a bunch until your second phase begins
3. Spam frost lightning retreat spell
4. Win

Ironically, during the rematch, it refused to attack and continued to run around and use weakest attacks. It really has a moody day.
@@tatinh9885 probably because the rematch started much closer. If he started at the same range as the first round, he probably could've won again.
I really love that little detail when on his second phase when he is staggered and starts getting up he uses his lightning to reanimate himself

This boss has SUCH a cool mix of using of the Ancient Dragons' attacks. While the Wyrms show a living transformation from the addiction of Draconic Blood, the Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella really emphasizes the terrifying immortal power of even an imitation of the Draconic Lightning from a false sky.
By far one of my favourite enemies in the game, so it's rad to finally see them get a chance to use their Phase 2 at full capacity.
Except he has the worst hurtbox.

As for my opinion on them: Never had any issue with them - so I don't care as it doesn't change a single thing that I said before.

The Dragonkin soldiers never knew true sky or true flame… but they knew the worth and value of strength and power. And it took 2 fricking years for a bear in spectating mode to come along and show their true potential.

The part of the Fortissax fight where he transitions into the phase 2 glaive spin and they both fly back was awesome
Maliketh now knows how feels to fight something that constantly jumps away while using powerful ranged attacks. Both are great bosses, though.

Dragonskin is one of my favorite bosses in Elden ring. Mainly because of its design (second phase) and the boss arena. I wished they did something more with him, he was really cool.
Pls do more of these minibosses i love them it really shows the potential some of these minibosses have.
The various creations that the nox made are really interesting, for example, i heard a theory that ancient dragons use the time power of their scales to freeze lightning, but the dragonkin soldiers use ice to do it itself.
And to think Astel steamrolled through an entire eternal city alone.

he's just so cool and so well designed, sad he's that weak
that radhan comeback was so insane, not even Placidusax, the dragonlord, true first elden lord could even dream of doing that
It's sad this guy is the only interaction we have with frozen lighting magic. It's such a cool concept but only one spell and two weapons available
Seeing the Dragonkin occasionally throw his spear straight forward really makes me wish we had a second variant of frozen lightning that we can throw forward.
I'm admittedly one of the people who loves frozen lightning spear despite how inconsistent it feels, just get yourself 51 or more poise, gain a little courage, and just klonk the enemy over the head with the initial spear. Odds are at that point that a follow up will land.
I really hope the DLC gives us more frozen lightning spells, or at least one that we throw forward. One can hope, gameplay trailer for the DLC releases tomorrow 👀 maybe we'll see some cool stuff.

I find dragonskin soldier design incredible cool and terrifying at the same time and really glad to see him got a spotlight ^^ He looks like a creature from the underworld but his body is very human-like, I would even say I experience a contradictory mixture of delight and disgust, which makes dragonskin soldier only the best in my eyes!

I decimated this boss first try with Siluria's Tree, he has such crap health that I never got to see his second phase moves.

These videos show exactly why the game feels so hard and frustrating; so many of these optional bosses or even non-bosses are way too difficult to beat, even by the main bosses.
