No, it absolutely hadn't. We have a Rolex certified watchmaker on the premises and have owned thousands of Rolex watches - this had never been close to a polishing machine.
For the past year I’ve been in love with the Rolex brand. I love a bunch of their models. But I don’t know why, I can’t really get into the submariner or sea dweller. I think they’re fine, they just don’t really look special to me. Sometimes if I look at a watch long enough it starts to really grow on me, but it isn’t happening with the submariner. I know it’s super popular though, and most people love it
Seriously. I was thinking “did the previous owner ever wear it at all??” I scuff up a watch more than that in a single day of wear, even being super careful.
@@overlord999 I appreciate that Jay - but with no way outside of Rolex or Rolex certified watchmakers to check wether a serial number is legitimate - (there is no accessible database) I wonder how much difference that actually makes. People stress unnecessarily over what is a bit of a red herring
I’ve gone down the UA-cam rabbit hole. I don’t know why I’m watching this but very interesting and a lovely watch 😊
😂😂😂me as well 😂😂
I started going down watch rabbit holes this whole past year. And it cost me a lot of money, now I’m addicted to expensive watches
it does look almost unpolished but I must say that the clasp has definitely been polished

I have a OP with a silver dial. I have had it about 6 years and I’m thinking I might sell it.
Pre-owned, yes. But pre-worn? Not much apparently.

Yeah it is stunning BUT small 🤷♂️
Hide the serial brother
I’ve never understood why that’s necessary - why is that?
