Celtics have lost like 5 games, all of them had either no Derrick White or he didn't play very well (which is rare, like twice in 20 or so games, and bad for him is still like 15 points, 6 assists but like 5 turnovers). He is very much like Marcus Smart on defense with tenacity and skill, but on offense he's like a less spectacular Haliburton who runs a well oiled offense. Very underrated player across the league. He took the Kobe plunge and shaved his head and his power level rose like 10%.

Most people make lists to be heard, not to be accurate. The selections typically don't involve an in-depth look at the game and how such players impact the game on all fronts (defensively and offensively). They look for flashy players who can score loudly and got more flare. While some are obviously rightfully considered the elite of the elite, players like Derrick White get left off or are kept at the bottom because they aren't flashy or the most explosive players. The aforementioned is why players like Larry Bird are often left off the top 10 of greatest of all-time. Everything has to be taken into consideration when anointing who's the best of the best. Altheltism is important, but making an impact on winning and changing the game is more meaningful. (To put this into perspective in a different context is like saying Drake is a better rapper than Tupac because of Drake's billboard hits...No, he's not even close).
Growing up watching the NBA throughout the 80's, 90's, etc and still today, I'd say the result of what I've said above is a sign of the times. In other words, the NBA has literally been altered to allow more scoring. Take into account the following: the spacing that's required for a shooter which allows more space to shoot, how easy it is to foul (flopping), the lack of calling traveling and ball carrying, no hand-checking, and the obsession with shooting long-range shots instead of getting dirty in the paint. I'm not saying I dislike the NBA today because I still love it, but the aforementioned is integral in how many are wrongfully influenced in making these BS lists.
I hope Derrick White gets chosen for the All-Stars this year. He deserves it.

I bet this guy doesn't even have Porzingis in his Top 20. I think K.P. is the best player in the NBA. I might have him slightly over rated. But his size. His skill set. He's definitely Top 10. Oh that's Reddick. Dumb Dukey... HEELS HERE!

I need Kristaps to speak more confidently about the situation. This is a championship or bust situation. These guys MUST win. Deep playoff run isn’t satisfactory.

Relax, man. If Boston wins, THEY get rings. YOU get bragging rights. That's it.
KP's always had a chill personality. Perhaps enjoy that along the way to the championship.

@@brentduanefoster Nothing to relax about. Boston has been a championship team for the past couple years and have failed to get it done for some reason. It’s ridiculous at this point. Now the team is somehow even better. Get it done. I don’t want to sit here and hear this team as presently constructed talk about anything less than a championship. “Deep playoff run” give me a break.

@@brentduanefoster Nice work captain obvious. It’s not about how it affects my life. Can we enjoy the game and have some passion without everything being undermined? I can assure you I’m not as invested as you may seem to think. Bottom line is this is a championship team and anything less than a championship is pathetic. Nothing to debate here. You wanna tell someone to relax go get a girlfriend.
