Just got mine and totally worth the wait! Feels and shoots amazing! The hinged trigger does suck, but it can be easily swapped out in about 15 minutes. Psa hitting it out of the park once again!
Good stuff, thanks for the show and tell on this hard to acquire pistol.
Thinking of picking up a Micro comp slide and throwing it on my G43x lower……seems interesting to me.
I bought the frame and 3/15rnd slick mags. I usually try a new ccw every year, sometimes rotating 2x per year, and figured Ive give this a try cause I have an extra g43 slide laying around. Ive had 365, 365x, 365 xl, 365 icarus precision xl, sharps bros 365, g43, g43w/ g48 slide, g19, px4 storm , poly80 g19, poly 80g43, ruger max 9 , ruger security, ruger ec9s, cz75 compact, sig 365xl w/ wilson combat frame, and this frame with aftermarket g43 slide and 3d printed magwell. Out of all those firearms for ccw this psa MD /43 combo, and the sig 365 with xl wilson combat frame are the goldilocks IMHO. Except for the fact the sig required a magguts plus 2 mag ext to get the capacity of the psa md.. Honestly for carry , capacity, and ergos, this is truly the best of what Ive named and carried so far for price. The reliability aspect is yet to be proven, but so far so good. Im impressed.
Got a c1 ordered last week. Has a shipping label but not on the truck yet (Typical psa). Can't wait!!! I ordered then looked back for a friend and it was sold out. It'd hit or miss still.
Did it storm over there last week? My Micro mags have taken a while too,.
I have their slick finish 15rd mags in my 43x MOS and they are flawless so far. They eject easily even when empty, and the pricing is still reasonable for the slick finish compared to a factory Glock mag. I haven't tried their regular mags yet to see the difference, if any. I am definitely going to get some of these dagger pistols in both sizes as a just in case/back up type gun based on all the reviews I continue to see.
Great 👍🏼 review!
Great review! New subscriber.
Thanks for the info! Would like a review after further use and round count.
I have been thinking about getting one of these. I have the Stoeger STR9c that has been flawless at the range. I own Glocks, SIgs, Walthers, H&K but I do carry my Stoeger most of the time. This PSA Micro Dagger Glock 43x Clone looks like a good one to carry in the woods. I work in the mountains and deal with a lot of coyotes that are not afraid of people.
PSA is the BEST!
Awesome video. I actually purchased the gun at Ready gunner today 😉
Enjoy! Great little gun!
Love mine
I want one of these but atm I can't justify it since I'd need to buy a new WML and holster. My AREX Delta gen 1 will have to do for now. :p
Check around 4pm each day, and have your account information (including FFL and billing info) set up beforehand.
^ this. Although for me it's 3pm MST normally.
@@TheArmedScotsman yeah I probably should have specified EST lol
Finally got my hands on one of these. It was a bit of a hassle to get though. I'm sure they'll be easier to acquire in the near future.
Was it the same issue where you had to purchase it at a certain time of day?
@id-10-terror7 yessir, usually at 16:00 Eastern time. Which I only found out by going through a few youtube comments on other channels, which also led me to the Micro Dagger FB group that also sends out group notifications. Then it's pretty much a race against everyone in the group. I'm convinced PSA is purposely withholding supply to stimulate a demand.
Got mine last week. I just have glock GL9 mags for it in 15 round. I did buy my upper, lower and holosun red dot separately, and when I put it together, I had an issue with defensive holopoint sounds getting caught on the feedramp. The gun would not chamber properly until I racked around a dozen rounds though it. Now it seems to fee properly. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I hope it was just a small break in issue and not a continued problem. This is supposed to be my new EDC to replace my Springfield XDS in .45. Have to agree, the gun feels super comfortable in the hand, even more so than glocks. Also, put the Crimson Trace light on it that PSA had on sale. Now just waiting for their holsters to come back in stock.
Wait, are you saying you're running gl9 15 round mags through this? I'm pretty sure you have a compact because g19 mags won't run in this. Too thick
No this is the micro, PSA makes their own 15 round mags that are compatible with the 43x
@steelestabler6281 the gl9 mags are glock double stack mags for the g17 or g19 pistols. The g43x/48 pistol mags are just labeled glock 43x/48 mags and are 10 rounders. Shield arms makes s15 mags which are compatible with 43x/48.
@@pathickey4044 PSA now make their own 15 rds in competition with the shield arms mags, the silver one he shows in the video is the PSA proprietary mag
@steelestabler6281 I understand that. My question from your original comment is that said you have gl9 mags for this. And what I'm saying is gl9 mags are foe the g19and g17 and wouldn't fit this or the 43x
@The Armed Scotsman can u plz tell me if the oem slide from the Glock 43x will fit on the micro dagger frame. I have a 43x and swapped the slide for one with an optics cut and have a extra slide laying around. Just want to know so I can have another gun😂😂
It fits :)
@@TheArmedScotsman thank you much appreciated
i would love to try out the magazines but they seem to never be in stock. what a shame
There in stock bit.ly/48sTlpf
I’ve been trying to get one of these for a year now with no luck. Just earlier today, I put one I my cart and by the time I got to pay it was sold out AGAIN 🤯 I’m getting sick and tired of this nonsense
Yep
I got a bad taste in my mouth over this roll out. Over a year of teasing it and releasing slides and magazines but no frame or complete pistol. That and the 15 year old M&P hinged trigger makes this a no go for me. I'll stick with my Shield plus for summer edc and xmacro for winter. Love my other PSA pet pews but like I said they dropped the ball on this release so u went a different direction. A shame because the xmacro style slide with the built in comp cuts looks interesting. Might pick one up eventually😂
Yep, same here. Hate the rollout....it's a no for me
Yea i can't do the hinge triggers
The hinged trigger is different, but not bad. It’s just not what we’re used to.
@poconofrank9476 I had guns with hinged triggers and then tried flat triggers and will never go back. And based on 95% of new guns I think it's safe to say that's a fairly common sentiment. I'm sure PSA kept the hinged because they are already producing, or sourcing, the hinged triggers for the compact dagger and didn't want to spend any more money than they needed to. Obviously it's a functional teigger but in today's world of endless gun choices it doesn't make a lot of sense to go this route
Only 9mm fanboys are concerned with capacity
I just bought 2 shield Arms mags for my son for Christmas and they were $25 each. Actually less expensive than the PSA mags.
Did you factor in the cost of the needed shield Mag catch?
@@BananaRaid The mag catch is a one time purchase. My son already had it. We're not talking about the overall cost of using these machines in a particular gun, just the cost of the mags.
@Joe5561000 I don't see why you wouldn't when I don't have to buy a Mag catch for the PSA mags and I just loked them up and the S15s are 42 a pop.
@@BananaRaid then buy the PSA mags. I certainly don't care. I was just letting people know that S15 mags can be purchased cheaper than The PSA mags, sometimes, if you shop around. I think I bought them at The Mag Shack or Gunmagwearhouse I can't remember witch. But again I don't care which one you buy if you like the PSA mags, buy them. PSA makes great stuff.
I'm interested to see how durable the mags are, I would think the connection between the polymer and the metal could be a weak point.
Yeah, it will be interesting.
Most other pistols use metal mags and polymer frames. It shouldn’t be a problem here.
@poconofrank9476 Sorry, I meant that the magazines being two parts might be an issue down the road since it looks like it connects only at certain points. I would've thought a pure metal mag with a metal mag catch would've been a more pragmatic and less expensive approach
Would be better if you could actually get one and PSA ditched the trigger.
Does this ship with two mags?
1 mag
I've been talking to other youtube viewers and channels. Some of them have 2 or 3 micro frames or complete firearms. Makes it very tough for the average joe to get one. No need to watch reviews when I can't get one!
what do they sell 1 every Wednesday? i never see them in stock.
Every day around 4pm est there's a new drop. Sometimes it's a full gun, sometimes the frame, sometimes a completed slide.
@@Th3ev1lkn13val ahh I see. I was on that site all yesterday ready and waiting lol. Must have been the slide.
Got tired of playing the PSA waiting game! Picked up a Canik Mete MC9! Love it and it was in stock!
Don't get me wrong. I've purchased lots of firearms from PSA and I really like their stuff, but this whole micro dagger thing is stupid!
How is the reliability of the MC9?
Is the micro dagger single stack r double
Double
Just got a micro dagger c-1, I have a holster for my glock 48, but that doesn’t fit. Any idea what I could use?
I believe you need a g43x holster
Bordertown holsters
Ok, thanks guys.
G43 holster
I use a g43x mos holster with mine but I've got a tlr sub on it as well
Why aren’t 2 guns compared dimensionally? They’re both on table. The micro dagger is larger than 43X, that’s why and not all 43X holsters will fit.
I’m not a fan of budget handguns nor do i understand this crazy obsession with cloning Glocks. I’ll stick with my HKs and SWs. That said, I do understand that not everyone can afford the higher tier brands. But I am curious about one thing and maybe those of you who more familiar with PSA can weigh in. How much more could it possibly cost to use a steel mag release and forego the polymer mag shield? And would this lower the cost of mags, or this just a supply/ demand thing?
People like the simplicity of a Glock, reputation of reliability, have familiarity, but may want dfferent asthetics and ergos. (IE: P80 has a 1911 grip angle). It's basically the "ar15" of the pistol pistol world with modularity (though you'll see many jumping on the bandwagon of sig with the "fcg" modularity - I think PSA announced they are developing a fcg system with the dagger as well...
S&W is a high tier striker fired handgun? Maybe their revolvers are high tier but I wouldn't classify their plastic guns as high tier.
Does it have the wrong grip angle like glocks?
??? Glock grip angle it perfect bud
so are you saying it has a glock grip angle then? IMO its an obamanation ;) and I will never own another glock...even tho I've owned 5 ish over the years. @@user-ng8iv6fh6b
