    Thank You!! This is the reason I bought the Vibrant - you made it so easy to thread and to use. I am 72 and I threaded it the first time with your help. Very clear videos and the very best on UA-cam.

    Anita, I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate your love for this craft, your teaching style, your passion for it, your compassion for us newbies and the overly ambitious and not so skilled! I was about to give up on my vibrant when I watched another tutorial thread the upper looper through a wire frame that was totally not even in the instruction manual. I so appreciate you for helping me with my project tonight!! Thank you!

    I am thinking of getting a serger and your video totally took away the fear of threading it for me! I was trying to decide between the Babylock Vibrant and the much more expensive air thread Celebrate. Your video makes the threading so easy to follow. Thanks so much. I have been watching your videos for several years now (since before your husband passed away) and I think you do an amazing job of explaining things. I am very happy you seem to have recovered your “joie de vivre”. I would love some videos on serger projects other than garments some day. I have been sewing a loooong time and you’re a great teacher.

    Anita, I bought a Baby Lock Vibrant after watching these videos. For some reason, my threads were tangled, so I watched your tutorial and threaded it myself. Thank you! I know the serger has instructions shown inside, but I much prefer a video. For my particular learning style, it is easier to understand. :-)

    Anita I have a new babylock Vibrant, I had problems with the tension and that took me to your video, I threaded the machine the way to do it and the upper looper thread was not making the loop and got cut, I went back to the manual and you skip the step four, where you have to thread true the last loop like in the picture on the manual, I did that and the machine work perfect. I love the tip you give about turn to 0 on the tension that way the thread got into it, I think that was the problem I had. Love you way of teaching, please kip doing it and last Thanks a lot making this videos is a lot of work.

    Good morning Anita.
    Once more I want to thank you for coming back to UA-cam in such a warm and real way.
    Your personality, your talent and the gentle detailed way, in which you proceed is needed on UA-cam.
    Shamefully my sewing machine is in storage but you've motivated me to give sewing by machine another try.
    Currently I stitch, the few skirts, shawls, slip covers and scarfs I make by hand.
    I also refit, alter and detail clothing for others all by hand.
    My daughters, in there effort to encourage my interest in sewing.
    Brought me a beautiful computerized Brother sewing machine;
    Therein stood the problem.
    Understanding how to properly thread the machine along with what stitch or needle to use was a challenge.
    I made one skirt by machine versus several by hand in the same amount of time.
    It was awful and it didn't take much for me to shriek away from modern machinery....
    😊💕😊
    My point is I'm inspired by how genuine of a person, you seem to be.
    Thank you.

    • @AnitabyDesign
      @AnitabyDesign  5 років тому +1

      Reginaaaaaaa!!! I wish I could sit with you and help. Here's what I suggest doing. Pull out your sewing machine from your beautiful daughters (what a thoughtful gift). Get the instruction guide and start from page one. Read the manual and follow the guidelines along the way. The manuals are REALLy a great help. Then, if you don't understand something about your machine from reading the manual, search for UA-cam videos for your particular machine. Practice, practice, practice. You have a special gift with your hand stitching. However, I think you will enjoy using the machine once you give it another try. Don't be intimidated. You can do it.

      Thank you and yes I agree.
      Thoroughly reading the manual as well as following the in closed DVD, more closely.
      Will help me out a lot.
      As far as wishing, you could or I could, sit along side you.
      Yes!
      All day long 😊💕😊.
      I'll be taking classes this spring and that's what I'm looking for.
      Hands on, side by side help.
      I'll keep watching you as I learn and once I'm more efficient.
      I'll be sure to let you know.

      Hi Tammy. There is no other guide to be threaded before the eye. With the green thread, only 2 guides are threaded, then the needle. I think I confused you because my thread fell around that top hook before threading the needle.
