Really thank you a lot because all people in France gave the Baby Lock BLS4 and not the new one ... in France no videos explain for BLS4. Thanks and God bless you.
you did a wonderful job explaining among all those clips out there; your filming technique is excellent as well; very clear, easy to see. thanks for taking the time to do the clip.
Is this a finished seam? My old singer serger makes a seam and overcasts the edges and cuts so I don't have to make any other seams. Unfortunately it has seen better days.
Hi Kimberly! Just adjust the fabric edge to the left, which will place less under the cutting blade. Or, there is something called a cutting-width guide that comes with the Vibrant. You can attach this and use it as a guide to cut off less of the fabric edge. There is a video on the Baby Lock UA-cam Channel, "Piecing on the Vibrant" that shows this guide and how to use it.
I have owned this machine for over 5 years and this video taught me how to insert the scrap bin. I wish I’d known sooner!

I love the simplicity of threading the machine. The way the threads “lock” into their guides! 💕
Excellent explanation. Thank you!

What happens when you turn the fabric right side out? Does the seam hold tight?

What type of needle are you using since you’re sewing denim, cotton and knit.
Hi Cathy, you can find the recommended needles and thread for different fabrics on page 16 of the Vibrant Instruction and Reference Guide.
Thanks
also, does it come already threaded and with those 4 colors>
what if you don't want much material cut off? Do you know where to put your material so that you dont cut much off?

It is our recommendation to use this guide to ensure that the fabric is cut off consistently and the seam width is straight. :) Happy sewing!
