So sorry the flu went through your home but hopefully by now this is just a distant memory. It has been years since I've had littles but I do recall how hard it is to keep everybody fed properly and keep up with the laundry when everybody is sick. You did a great job. Hi Jennifer, not sure of your family's tastes, but I slice potatoes, sweet potatoes and sometimes butternut squash and place in the casserole dish. Top with onion soup mix mixed with heavy cream. Cover, cook until tender, top with cheese and just put back in to melt the cheese. Very nice for a change or if you don't have quite enough potatoes! Love from Australia xxx

If you are trying to use the homemade powdered sugar for frosting, or some other dish that needs a slight thickener in it, you'll want to add a dash of cornstarch to your sugar. Somewhere around 2 tbsp of cornstarch to 2 cups of granulated sugar is the general recipe.

Hi Jennifer! I am ao sorry so many of you got sick. Poor things! I think You did a great job on the laundry. Very efficient, with all of it in a row. I still love the floral rhubarb by Dossier fragrance. I also want to try aquatic coconut. It smells like the beach, it says in the description. I know You love Sunmer and coconut anything! Me too! Lol! I would love to be at the beach right now. Oh well! If I never go to the beach again, i am ok with that. Because I (we) have Heaven to look forward to, in God's Kingdom of Heaven! I told a lady once at my Mom's church during a Lental soup and prayers and speaker. It was really nice. A lady there said She wishes She could move to Florida, where She has family. She Didn't think She could. I told Her, don't worry! We have Heaven to look forward to! Paradise!

That went through our house this last week as well! It hit hard and fast and left a ton of laundry in it's wake 🤣
Chicken soup,oyster crackers and Sprite are our family sick foods, Lysol makes a laundry sanitizer that also removes odors very well, In our house whomever isn’t sick ( hopefully an adult) walks around with disinfectant wipes to hit door knobs,phones,light switches,faucets etc. hope all are feeling better by now!😷

If you add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch to every cup of sugar it acts as an anti-caking agent when making home made powdered sugar and is the same thing that you purchase in the store. Those potatoes look good.

We do potatoes like that cubed do garlic powder salt and pepper we add onions and potatoes and bake so good that way too.
