Jennifer, For several years I have been using frozen strawberries to make jam. They have been frozen at their peak, there is no waste and they are always ready whenever you have the time. I keep it in the freezer, so it is like having freshly made jam. My son used raw sugar when he made it. Love your videos. Warren does a wonderful job teaching about cranberry farming, most interesting..

Black River? I will never forget that name. I got a speeding ticket there in my travels to my sisters in MN. I honestly was trying to get around all the semis and knocked the cruise a little too high 😬

I've made the peanut butter swirl bars often and just last night I made the chocolate zucchini muffins. Both big hits! I'm so glad I purchased both cookbooks. I'll be feeding the freshman football team this fall and a lot of the recipes will come in handy❤

Is there a reason that almost all dried cranberries are sweetened? I can’t find any non sugar ones. I find low sugar. I found some dried cherries that are not sweetened at a farm stand several years back, but they went out of business. I was just curious, because to me, they don’t need sugar. Bye it’s the palette of most people that want them that way, I wasn’t sure if it was for preservation. I wouldn’t think the sugar is needed .
Have you seen the no sugar added dried cranberries from Thrive Market? They are really, really good. Two videos back I shared a code for Thrive which will save you money.

So sad the strawberries are looking in the store too… I’m worried for the farmers this year with all the crops the corn isn’t looking very good around here . My garden is fine so far… except my potatoes and garlic didn’t do anything yet.. I have to try Aldi it’s right down the street from my house I just always go to festival since that is also right down the street .. I just like seeing what other people buy

Kiwi, ball has a recipe for kiwi daiquiri jam Jennifer that is to die for if your family likes kiwi. I missed strawberry picking, one of the biggest farms are shutting down permanently this year it was weather and a fruit fly infestation, to many challenges in farming as you know.
It’s been difficult for so many farmers with all the rain. And now the feed bay crop looks like it’s going to be short.

Our Aldi cheese is the same price, so with that, I'm guessing the cottage cheese was $2.55. I just got some on Friday, and a block of cheese is already gone, and most of the cottage cheese. 😊
Jennifer, those garden salsa sun chips are my favorite to. I love to eat them with cottage cheese. Maybe Warren could try it.

I’ve had good luck with boiling ribs till done and then oven bake with bbq sauce till they are how you like them. They come out juicy and tender.

I’ve done keto now for 4 years on and off, the thing I hate the most is the first week adjusting to the no carbs, but once I’ve gotten a couple months into it there’s this urge to eat a piece of toast or eat something with carbs. After that I usually go downhill, because I’m so strict while on it I feel like I’ve messed it all up so why not just eat more or whatever lol

I'm extremely grateful for Food Lion great quality food. I will pay a little more good quality. Cheap is just what it says cheap that's why I got bad meat. Thank God for PetSmart I don't have to buy cat food from Aldi's. Big Lots here where I live has great prices. I got a huge thing of Arm and Hammer Laundry Det for less then $10.00. Big Lots has all kinds of things at good prices. Food Lion has me as a regular customer for as long as I'm alive.

Great haul! Jennifer, in doing low carb, how do you handle special eating occasions? For example, were you able to stay low carb during your July 4th party? Also, when you make egg salad sandwiches for your family, do you just not eat the bread? What would you have with that to make it feel like a complete meal? Thank you!!

Hi Jen, did you guys ever get your garden planted? My Aldi dropped some prices for summer but I did notice that my frozen broccoli went up to 1.18 a bag but it's the best. Befor covid it was 97 cents then went up to 1.08 now it's went up again.

I have heard from many people that Aldi's cleaning supplies are mostly water so I do not shop there anymore. They carry cheap crap that is no good. I bought meat there not to long ago and it was bad . So I have been telling everyone I know so they don't shop there anymore. I would LOVE to see Aldi's go out of business forever. Their store is extremely dirty my next move will be to call the Health Department on them. Aldi's is NO GOOD. I shop at Food Lion BEST Place EVER.
If you ever get a bad product at Aldi they will refund you and give you a replacement.
I think it depends on the Aldi.
I don’t buy from Aldi don’t like the quality they don’t have the brands I buy and I don’t have time going to one shop to next I just go Cole’s supermarket they have everything I need
