A minor set back with the caravan, All very exciting though and Army green paint will definitely help to blend the caravan in 😎😎🌻🌻🌻
Easy to say in hindsight but jacking up the back of the car whilst attached to the caravan was a bad idea. Likely put a ton of pressure on the connection and broke/bent it.

Hi Joe not commented for a while but I have been watching your journey for a long time, I just want to say that I wish you all the luck in the world on your new venture. I had a caravan for year and damp is always going to be there during autumn, winter. I bought a dehumidifier for mine plus bowls of salt or moisture absorber dehumidifiers around the van as condensation will collect around the window even when the windows are in good nick. A small heater will also help dry the van out... Good luck
I grow in a very similar climate to Scotland in neighbouring Cumbria. And very successfully too 🙂 BUT it would help to have either a polytunnel or greenhouse tbh ..glad you have found your new home.. living off grid is fantastic . My spiritual home is Scotland...i used to be guardian of 8 acres of woodland there... but never really got to do what we wanted there I sold the land very sadly but it seemed to be the right thing at the time!! ...the only negative are the b****rd midges who can be very hard work!!
