I think another good one to add to this list is Odessa. I first heard it working on historical records because it had a wave of popularity in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Turns out it’s a place name and a literary name. It’s a port city on the Black Sea in Ukraine and was named after the Odyssey. So the name literally means “odyssey” or “journey”. I think you could also use the nickname Dessie with it and that would be cute.
Odette has been on my list since I was a child myself. I don’t know why it’s not popular either 🤔 A new version I’ve thought of recently though is “Odessa” which seems REALLY wearable. You’re welcome 😉👉
My two names for Natalie’s dilemma are Nova (which means “new” and is both vintage and modern sounding) and Orin which is an Irish name meaning “pale green” and is both a bit of an old school choice but feels new as well. Both of them kind of have connotations of newness and freshness which I like.
I loved the name Olivia when I was little. Then I grew up and realized that so did everyone else. Lol. Our daughter is named Eloise which I think also makes a great alternative to Olivia.
My littles are Kenna and Nora, and I LOVED Olivia but felt it was too popular. I went with Nora instead to keep the "O" sound and I'm so happy with it.
My partner really fought for Nora for our little girls name. I wasn’t crazy about, i really wanted something less common, so I told him he had to find a long name with that as a nickname. We ended up Leanora. I mostly call her Lee though 😅
Shiloh was our boy name through out my pregnancy last year. But when our little girl came out she was so serene and peaceful we decided she suited it. Shiloh Aurora, little sister to Nova Ophelia 😊
I love the name Odette since Barbie Swan Lake, another name I love but does not start with O but has the letter, is Isolde, I just love how beautiful and elegant it is
Omg so shocked to see my name on the list 😳😍 how cool! Also didn’t expect to see an announcement about Oberon. We named our son Stefan Oberon 2 months ago ❤️
I think Ida would be a cute little sister to Ava and Asher! Short, sweet, easy to pronounce and vintage. It’s been on my list for years, let me live vicariously through you because my husband doesn’t like it at all :’)
I got so excited to hear my name! In a baby name group on Facebook recently someone wanted to use the name Ophelia and people were telling her not to use it because of its tragic association. And I chimed in and said that growing up with a name that is linked to a somewhat tragic story is not as big as a problem is people try to make it out to be. It really didn't affect my life at all. And I like having a unique name that is connected to a history and a story even if it's not the happiest of stories.
I would add Lydia to the list. It sounds similar to Olivia and Lily, both of which are extremely popular. I think Lydia and Naomi are two of the prettiest Biblical names for girls.

Ivory Ava/Asher has such a nice ring to it! Her name was was Ivory Anna. If my next child is a girl I'm definitely going to name her Ivory. I was struggling with the middle name but I think I might have to go with one of your suggestions .
Great idea for a list SJ! Definitely needed! My immediate alternative for Olivia is always, Viola (Vie-ola) because it has literally every letter of Olivia but is much less popular. It means “violet” (just like Violette). And it’s a Shakespeare name from the same play as Olivia (Twelfth Night) haha. I like it a lot more than Olivia personally. For Natalie: Ava, Asher and Wren (beautiful gender neutral name that is a small songbird but also means “tiny conqueror”. LOVE IT! Ava, Asher and Emy (super cute but beautiful short name that means “ambition” or “whole”. Love it with Ava. It’s also not super popular.) Ava, Asher and Tyson (very cool name meaning “high spirited” or “fiery” which can be shortened to Ty and is so cute as a sib-set. Asher and Tyson sound like the coolest brothers too.) Best of luck :)
For the Viewer Dilemma how about Finnley? It sounds nice with the others, got the e sounding ending which can be cute, good for a boy or a girl (although less common with girls) and is Irish meaning "fair haired courageous one". It's immediately what came to mind.
It's so fun to hear your name in one the lists! My name is Monique and I always loved my name. I pronounce it with a long 'o', like in Odette (which was one of my faves of this list).
I looooove Oberon. How cute to be a faerie king. I love how it sounds strong but soft at the same time. I’ve had a crush on Titania forever, but there are so many -ia names that roll of the tongue more easily.
My great-great grandmother was called 'Honoria' (Hon a rah) and went by 'Nora'. Not so common here in Ireland anymore. When you mentioned 'Honour' it reminded me of the name.
(After watching this video one too many times 😅) I just have to add that SJ has the amazing ability to change the background of each and every video and matching what she wears to compliment the background, always an aesthetically pleasing video to watch well done as always SJ xox
Oooh, I love Shiloh. Instead of Honor, I prefer Honoria. I had never heard of it until it was the name of the sister of Charles Emerson Winchester, III. It's similar to Olivia in the lilt.

Liam was at the top of my list top, but decided not to use is it. We went with Luca but Judah, Milo, Louis, Milad, Nathaniel (Nate), Theodore (Theo), and Otto were all ones we considered instead of Liam.
This is the best name group of yours by far for me that I’ve seen. Olivia was always a favourite of mine but happened to have a boy first and before I could have my girl my cousin took the name for her little one. Also have always had a soft spot for Opal as it’s my birthstone - October, and also Pia as a name which could be nickname for Olympia. Hoping to have a 3rd bub someday but we will see. Ps just think Opal sounds good with Ava and Asher too.
For the name dilemma I found a couple I thought may work! I really love the name Orla for them. It's Irish and means golden princess, so it would be for a girl. But I think that it fits in with the two syllable names with a strong a sound. Ava, Asher and Orla sounds so good I think. Another one is Fallon which means leader and is an Irish name that is also gender neutral. I thought it went well with the strong A sound but not too matchy.

@@OksanaBelle sorry, too young to be a mom, and I'm an Arab anyway, but when I mentioned the name in front of my family my brother was really happy because it was one of his favorite characters in an old TV series about Hercules and his sister Oksana!
For the baby naming dilemma, a few ideas for a sibling to Ava and Asher: Ingrid Lavender Runa Brigid/Bridget Greta Fiona Cait Linnea Una/Oona Clover Freya Orla Yvaine Moira And while I know they're not going for all A names, I gotta throw Anouk, Agnes, and Astrid out too. Blaine Roscoe Ferris Declan Gregor Nils Thurston Colm Laszlo Nigel Stellan Eames Otto Gustav And some A names worth mentioning are Axel/Axl, Ansel/Anselm, and Aalto This might be my favorite list of yours yet. I'm not sure what it is about the letter O but I love it! Odette was my absolute favorite name as a little girl! When I was 7 I had a baby doll with an adoption certificate and I named her Odette Clara (I was going through a hardcore ballet phase lol.) Odette is still on my shortlist for a real baby, as a first or a middle. Honora was also a name I played around with for a bit as a middle, which could be great for someone who still wants a little length and that -a ending but likes the virtue appeal of Honor/Honour. I have a little cousin name Shiloh! I've always loved Bronte, if it weren't so similar to my own name it'd be on my list. Violette/Violetta is so pretty, I really like the variation Violaine as well (and that one could lend itself to the nickname Lainey which I know is well loved.) Opal is another favorite of mine from childhood! It's my birthstone so of course I have a bit of a soft spot for it. It was also the name of our elderly neighbor when I was younger and she was an absolute delight. Some other O names I love that might appeal to fans of Olivia: Odilia Oceana Oona Olwen Oatha Oleana Ouida Orinthia Names containing a prominent O: Andromeda Anemone Antonia Bronwen Callisto Clarimond Clio Clover Corisande Cornelia Eponine Hannelore Leonora Liliosa Paloma Pomeline Ramona Scirocco Soleil Verona
For the baby name dilemma I recommend mostly Scandinavian names: *For a girl* Ava, Asher & Elna (meaning "sun ray", comes from greek name Eleanor) Ava, Asher & Unna / Una (meaning "to love") Ava, Asher & Embla (meaning "elm", In Norse mythology, Embla is the equivalent of the Bible's Eve.) Ava, Asher & Edda (meaning "poetry") *For a boy* Ava, Asher & Emil (meaning "lively") Ava, Asher & Einar (meaning "one warrior; battle leader" or "one who fights alone") Ava, Asher & Ivo (meaning "yew wood, archer") Ava, Asher & Evert (meaning "brave, strong boar" or "shepherd")
Love Pia is a nickname for Olympia alsoo there was a toddler at my old job named Odette and we all called her Odie which was sooo cute and lastly as a Colette I can vouch that I LOVE my name :)

And some A names worth mentioning are Axel/Axl, Ansel/Anselm, and Aalto
This might be my favorite list of yours yet.
Violette/Violetta is so pretty, I really like the variation Violaine as well (and that one could lend itself to the nickname Lainey which I know is well loved.)
Opal is another favorite of mine from childhood! It's my birthstone so of course I have a bit of a soft spot for it. It was also the name of our elderly neighbor when I was younger and she was an absolute delight.
Some other O names I love that might appeal to fans of Olivia:
Odilia
Oceana
Oona
Olwen
Oatha
Oleana
Ouida
Orinthia
Names containing a prominent O:
Andromeda
Anemone
Antonia
Bronwen
Callisto
Clarimond
Clio
Clover
Corisande
Cornelia
Eponine
Hannelore
Leonora
Liliosa
Paloma
Pomeline
Ramona
Scirocco
Soleil
Verona
For the baby name dilemma I recommend mostly Scandinavian names:
*For a girl*
Ava, Asher & Elna (meaning "sun ray", comes from greek name Eleanor)
Ava, Asher & Unna / Una (meaning "to love")
Ava, Asher & Embla (meaning "elm", In Norse mythology, Embla is the equivalent of the Bible's Eve.)
Ava, Asher & Edda (meaning "poetry")
*For a boy*
Ava, Asher & Emil (meaning "lively")
Ava, Asher & Einar (meaning "one warrior; battle leader" or "one who fights alone")
Ava, Asher & Ivo (meaning "yew wood, archer")
Ava, Asher & Evert (meaning "brave, strong boar" or "shepherd")
Ayyy the first option for a boy isn’t a bad one 😉
Love Pia is a nickname for Olympia alsoo there was a toddler at my old job named Odette and we all called her Odie which was sooo cute and lastly as a Colette I can vouch that I LOVE my name :)
I'm colette too! I've grown to love my name over the years.
Love that top!
Excited about this list!! 💕
