There are so many people in this industry and others that want to charge new guys or even guys without the basic knowledge for their information. I have been in the industry for over a year now. I have watched many of your videos. Some of them dozens of times and I thank God that guys like you are freely sharing your knowledge for us all. I enjoy simplified way of explaining things. I pray God continues to bless your sir. Thank you.
Most of it is common sense the class is useless the guys running them are snake oil salesman. if you buy there cheap skids you have been suckered. 25k for a unit lmao
When I first started researching on youtube I saw the snake oil guys. However they would leak enough info I could fill in the gaps myself. No need to buy a program in my opinion. But I do see where if you have no mechanical ability and lots of money the classes would be beneficial. However I think these same people are trying to sell their $30,000 rigs after the first season. Now that's when you can find a good deal.
Well done and great idea on the switch! Also I swear by a product called Fluid film I spray on anything (Metal/Wires/terminals) to protect from SH. Also buy the Fluid film in bulk (Gallon can) and bought the sprayer on ebay that hooks to a compressor. I Coat the undercarriage of the truck too and brake lines and does a excellent job from the salt on the road up here in New England.
I'm familiar with Fluid film. I bought some at a mower show to coat the underside of decks. It smells good and is made of Lanolin. I will give it a try.
fluid film is amazing! I also love it and use it on brake line/fittings fuel lines and love how it clings and stays put, but will also creep and flow when hot somewhat.
I had the same pump, and i used a car battery disconnect switch as the switch because every other small switch up the 30 amp I used all burned out. Thanks for the video. I know can use a smaller switch now.
So glad ur back. I am in my first trailer build and Im learning amazing info from you. See you got some more work done on ur build. Am I missing a vid? Trying to get some info on plumbing the soft and pwasher. U using a valve to switch between water feeds or did u plumb separate draws? How you pulling sh to load ur sh tank? Thanks for any insight. Look forward to ur next videos!
I have it all on vids to be edited. Like I said it will be a vid of everything but each thing I did will only be a minute or two. Instead of loading 10 2 minutes vids it will be one with a crap load of stuff on it.
I'm pretty sure I have such videos on my channel. However, you can buy one already built for about what you're going to spend on quality parts. Contact John and tell him I sent you for a discount. He can also sell you a kit that you can put together yourself . facebook.com/share/Gc1ZhfAD7szJgjKM/?mibextid=qi2Omg
Really enjoy your videos, Im getting ready to order kuri teck hose but not sure what one to order? Too many different types to choose from , psi . Length , $ , color or if there’s a hose you like?
1. Because I wanted to pump from left to right. 2. If the pump leaks inside or outside it wont run into the motor. 3. The pump can be mounted in any configuration you want.
Nice work. I just did exact same thing with same breaker. Wish I could have watched this before. Can you please do some video on performance of that pump and how to adjust it properly. Thank you for your effort in filming this. By the way, you any relation to snafu radios channel? Yall sound like same guy.
In all the videos I’ve seen everyone places the mixing station before the pump as you have. Since the water is left full open anyway wouldn’t the system work just as well placing the other fluid inputs after the pump to avoid running chemicals through the pump?
I understand. But on the one side of the pump you have suction. The other side is pressure. Adding any inputs on the pressure side of the tank won't work because the fluid will be pushing against those inlets and not pulling from them. You could add some type of injector to create a suction but that would drop your flow a ton. So the simplest way is to make the pump pull your chemical's from the suction side.
@@housewashing5693 hey hope you've been well! I'm curious how your blend manifold that you built is doing? I haven't seen you post any videos of using it after updating it! If you posted one I apologize! But would love to see it in action! I'm planning on building one myself and really like how you did yours! Thank you
Relay and solenoids are basically the same. They both use electromagnetic fields (low current) to energize a (higher current) circuit. One produces an electromagnetic field to it's core while the other to it's end. So what is the difference between a 60 amp solenoid and a 60 amp relay when applied to a circuit?
@@housewashing5693 I’m not asking you to make a video, I was trying to say for both of us to do a video discussing this topic, I think it will be a good topic for the new guys, it’s up to you, it’s fine if you don’t want to
@@Abovenbeyondservices I actually am a new guy. I haven't even fired my machines up. So all of my advice is from past experiences working on mechanical/electrical repairs. I think the theories still apply....

And for those that use a different brand of pump that does not have a relay preinstalled, you can install your own, from any auto parts store.
Yes Sir. Relays are cheap.

Nice! Good solid info and nuggets as always
Thank you so much!
Awesome vid man!!

That's all in the video description.
ID , psi , temp. Working pressure ??

Greet video turn pump around wires facing up so if the inlet or outlet drips, they’re not gonna land on the wires
Love your content sir. Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
My pleasure
I really like that breaker/fuse all in one. Where did you get it?
I put the links in the video description. But here they are - amzn.to/3db2ibf
Do you have a video on how to plumb a Softwash system?
I'm pretty sure I do. I'm on the road and can't go through my vids right now.
Really enjoy your videos, Im getting ready to order kuri teck hose but not sure what one to order? Too many different types to choose from , psi . Length , $ , color or if there’s a hose you like?
I was just sent that hose from a supplier. It's what he said is mostly used. Other than that I don't know.
Another nice video.
Why did u mount the pump upside down?
1. Because I wanted to pump from left to right. 2. If the pump leaks inside or outside it wont run into the motor. 3. The pump can be mounted in any configuration you want.

I will do a vid on the pump adjustment. I am not related to that other guy. Sorry.
Where do you tap in for the light can you make a video!
Look closely at the switch. You can see an extra connector on it that I'm not using. Simply hook that to the ground.
Good work!!
Thanks

@@MrRunItUp The larger manifold I built for my gas diaphragm pump is working great.

I would remove the relay and install a solenoid, and you never have to worry about those relays
