With 10 months of use now, have you had any issues with the quick connects leaking? I read that you inverted the pumps, but are the Remco pumps holding up better as anticipated?
The Remco pumps are definitely holding up a little bit longer than the other ones we’ve used. With the pumps being inverted, it’s really helped. In regards to the connections... the connections on the pump hold up just fine. It’s usually the hose connection that starts to go out. This can usually be fixed just by them getting tightened or worst case scenario replacing the connection which is very inexpensive.
You realize that pump is almost exactly the same as the Delavan right? For quite awhile remco was actually just powdercoating Delevan pumps and selling them. Now they have small differences but the owner of Remco worked at Delavan.
Here's a few trouble shooting items we have come across. - The O’ring on the barb that goes into pump might have come off or got damaged. - The sliding piece on the pump that locks it in is cracked or not slid into the proper position to where it locks the barb into the pump and keeps it sealed well.
The Remco pump should come preset from the factory. However, we always make sure when we let go of the trigger on the handle of the hose that the pump shuts off within two seconds. We do have to adjust these from time to time.
Remco pumps are terrible. Ive had 3 of those 5.3gpm pumps. 2 were bad out of the box with faulty pressure switches and the other one died in 4 months. It was only used maybe 10 times. 200$ pos. Just my opinion
@@BROWNSPRESSUREWASHING hopefully you will have a better luck out of them than I did. Who knows, it could have been a bad lot# of pumps all of mine came from tractor supply
all of these pumps are garbage sometimes you get lucky and get one that lasts a little longer than the last one but that is about it. Learn how to fix them or get the one that $2000 that comes with a honda engine
The quick connect wire is easy to mod, it is just a plug. Price and availability is what I would be looking for.
Ever think about turning your pumps the other way. So when it leaks, it doesn't run onto the motor. Food for thought........

We have ours turned the other way.
That has always been the rule but seems funny that some people seem to miss that.
I agree
Great video! Time is money....
Many thanks Powermount! Hope the washing is goin well out there.
If you dont mind where did you get the pump fittings to fit your size hoses. I have the 5.3 and came with the small dingy fittings.

I just switched to Remco and after a week and 5 roofs washed it’s already leaking out of the seal

Definitely had it go out and had to use a pump sprayer 😢
Would I need to adjust the Remco pump with an Allen key or is it adjusted from what I understand right from the factory?
