I can't wait for my plants to get this big
I get all my nursery pots from one of the local greenhouses here. They have a return/recycle collection bin for people to bring them back and they let people take nursery pots from that to use at home.

I reported my Baltic blue 3 times in a year its in a 14 inch pot now they have crazy huge root systems. The yellow you saw is because was in pot under soil no worries
Same, except that third time, I just voted some roots and added soil as I didn't want to find new place or pot for it.
You should sell your mixes. 😊
Now that is a great idea! I only use your mixes for my plants, and they are loving their new soil.
Today is Christmas Eve. I pruned and repotted a bunch of my plants while watching you do the same in the background. What a luxury that was, a few hours of leisurely puttering around the house, loving on my botanical babies!

Hi Drea! I just want to give you a virtual hug and tell you you're doing an amazing job! Hearing you talk about how overwhelmed you are/how big your collection is/you feel like you're neglecting yourself is exactly how I have been feeling. If you need to take a day off, that's allowed-the plants are going to be OK. Anxiety and stress are no joke, and we WANT YOU HERE! Just look at how massive and gorgeous your plants are, and how many of us come back to watch...I just watched this and it's almost 2 hours;) We love you. I am going to send a big prayer up for you tonight. Enjoy your Christmas and know that everything is going to be OK. Big hugs

hi Drea, in regards with Orbifolia, mine was ok for about half a year since I've switched all my Calatheas to Lechuza Pon, in the past month she has the brown tips which look like your and lost all leafs except two, based on my experience that mix is fertilized for 6 months, however it seems to be fertilized for way longer than that since I can still see those yellow-orange fertilizer beans, and Calatheas don't like it, I'll give it a try with your mix and report back since I almost destroyed all my Calatheas with it, except Network which seems to be happy but didn't push any leaf since I moved it to Pon

Your Triostar is absolutely Georgeous!! I have a small one and its one of my favorite plants right now. How long did it take to grow into that monster?
2 years and 8 months, but she lost a lot of her leaves the first winter I had her, so it was kinda like starting over from scratch 2 years ago
I have a maranta like yours, this past summer it was a beautiful specimen. Full, lush, no crunchy tips or leaves… simply gorgeous! She was living on my enclosed north side porch.
I use distilled water with her and an aqua globe because I couldn’t keep up with her water intake. Then fall happened, I brought her inside, her leaves started getting silvery patches and it was spreading. I cut all of those leaves off, clipped a clean cutting to root and she was pretty bare. She still is, but I haven’t noticed any silverish spots lately. The rooted cutting is in a tiny pot right now and the mother is hanging in there, I never did find out what it was… 🤷🏻♀

@@AlohaPlantLife unfortunately I didn’t take pictures 🤦🏽♀🤷🏻♀ but I’m so glad I took a cutting because the mother plant is slowly dying. I’ve repotted her, cleaned the leaves… now shes getting brown patches.and nothing I do is making her happy.
Biofungicide / Bactericide.. have you used any Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain D747* ? im using Monterey Disease Control on all my plants. and in a 8 hole 4 inch net pot aeroponic system . Monterey Disease Control, fish emulsion and capt jacks dead bug smells so bad in the same room. the odor sticks to me and people in the store look at me. . that being said. for first time ever, no spider mites ..
I don’t have experience using that. I can imagine that combination is rather unpleasant smelling but if it’s working for you it might be worth it💚

Why did you not cut the circling roots? I was always lead to believe those needed to be removed or the plant will not grow roots into the new soil.
No need to root prune in every situation. The roots will find their way💚
