for #103, Count Draynor is actually of the family Drakan, in the Myreque questline Vanescula talks about her brother that traveled to the west before the River Salve got blessed, rendering him stuck there. Without the help of his family's bloodline and less blood to consume in Draynor than in the blood-filled Darkmeyer, he has severely weakened, which is the reason that his combat level is so low compared to the dangerous vampires of Morytania.

At 1:07:17, the Guthan the Infested dialogue; “We’ll finish this later...” occurs any time you are in combat with any Barrows Brother within the crypts and you run too far away from them to which they disappear and leave you with that message. The reason this can possibly occur with Guthan the Infested in his individual crypt is because if you deal the finishing blow to him the same tick he gets a heal, if he did manage to heal any health he technically dies whilst still having some calculated hitpoints left, which effectively registers him as despawning whilst still being alive. This effectively triggers the same code as when a brother despawns in the crypts when you run away from them (they are alive when you run away obviously).
31:33 It's cool that this got referenced in both games. In OSRS we now finally have necromancy as a spellbook, and in rs3 the Gower Quest has tons of references to the fabled life rune and other tidbits of rs history. 32:30 Including this!

With the strange watcher point, the zamorak watcher has a skull, which makes sense lore wise as he's an ascended mahjarrat (like Hazeel/General Khazard) Mahjaratts turn to skeletons when they havent done the ritual of rejuvination in a while
17:45 I actually started my first character and specifically remember choosing Adventurer. I got a cooked meat, a tinderbox, and a hatchet. Pretty sure praygood and prayevil were removed by that point though. It would've been in 2003.
What an incredible video. The dedication and hard work that went to this is insane. Thanks for making it, will be incredible to look back on in years to come (as it is already)
I first played Runescape when I was 9-10 years old. When I saw in your video the old 2006 Runescape menu, the one without the stamina and health bar immediately visible. I had to pause the video and feel myself. I was surprised at the depth of the feelings arising in me just seeing that image. Looking at stone carved animals encircling the map, the backpack, the compass. I felt like crying. But wasn't entirely sure why. Only clear thought that could arise from those feelings, was that I love this game, and i'm forever grateful for having the opportunity to experience it as a child. Runescape was like an infinite well of freedom and awe that I could experience without end everyday for years. It taught me so much. The opportunity to be a child, let loose in a world of millions of players, a world so massive, and so full that even reading the map is overwhelming for an adult. To learn of magic and lore, of dragons, armor, crafting, wood cutting, mining, smithing. Of all kinds of monsters and beings. The feeling that you could never learn it all, but you were so happy to learn it. Teaches more to a kid than schools could ever hope to. I still have the whole world practically imprinted in my mind, I can imagine walking from Lumbridge, to Varrock, to Falador, and beyond the members gate. And through my life experience, I've been around the Sun 28 times so far. I've learned that the world is just as magical if not more than what I felt and experienced as a child. I've worked with many plant medicines such as Ayahuasca and San Pedro. I've gone to the ancient temples in Peru and the Pyramids in Mexico, led on pilgrimages where we drank these medicines and walked through the ancient sites. The instructor, Don Victor Estrada, practically a master though he would never call himself that, was struck by lightening 4 or 7 times. Amulets and power objects, basically exist, i'm having one made for me right now by a master crafter whom I met in Peru made of Puma teeth and Meteorite. The world is vast, beyond the conceptual frameworks our society can move people to believe. Synchronicity and life path and Destiny is real. I work for a Space Biosciences company, of which we will be launching small laboratories into space to run experiments that will allow humans to live longer in space. I did not plan on these things, I simply followed my heart, and they happened. I will credit at least in part Runescape for being in my life, and where I am now. As I would likely be a different person without it. I love hearing the music, it's a gift to be able to have such a powerful engram that can immediately bring me back to my childhood. Thank you for making this video, I enjoyed every second of it, down to even the music you played at the end. Much love, Roshawn
I like the claw marks on the anti-dragonfire shield, that means someone tested it's effectiveness on an actual dragon, if they were all pristine, you wouldn't know the effectiveness until too late. :^)
Just got my first 99 ever (strength) on my iron man a few weeks ago. The first thing I did was the emote and thought of good ol’ Mote Plox. Happy holidays!
22:51 Man, how old was that postbag? It's clearly foreshadowing the dragonkin's first appearance in While Guthix Sleeps, which was November 2008. edit: After much digging, it looks like that was May 2007. That quest was in development a while. It's nostalgic to read back on these, there was a lot of foreshadowing to future content in them.
The screenshot section got me good. I remember looking through them almost every day before I would log in, so that I could see accounts that were doing all of this cool stuff I didn't know how to do. Just a little way to motivate me to get out and actually trying to learn things, rather than standing around treating the game like a chat room
Amazing video. I need to ask, though, and I'm shocked no one else is asking: How are you getting all the footage of the old RS2 versions of the game? The old models, animations, old varrock etc. I need to know!
Along with scape05 there is a server source available for the true beta stuff, it just isn't anywhere near as functional as scape05 but that can be used to showcase the simpler stuff and he can spawn items in that since he would be an admin on his own server

33:06 In RSC this meant that there were clones of key questgivers like the Gnome King, and it's the reason why to this day many places have large buildings with multiple bankers instead of a simple bank chest. This actually got me digging into one of my OLDEST memories. I was waiting in line to talk to Trailborn for my demon slayer quest, and the person before me managed to use dialogue options to get a Spinach Roll. At the time, people thought this was some super rare valuable item, so I spent a good while going through chat options trying to figure out how. I checked the osrs wiki, this IS still true! But it also means that in rsc players could see the chats other players were having with that npc.

Man I'm old. I remember when Classic was just RuneScape lol. The PKing stuff etc. When POHs and Thieving were the most anticipated updates, and Misthalin or whatever was the only area. Hell, this GAME is old haha.
With the strange watcher point, the zamorak watcher has a skull, which makes sense lore wise as he's an ascended mahjarrat (like Hazeel/General Khazard) Mahjaratts turn to skeletons when they havent done the ritual of rejuvination in a while
hope your feeling better man glad to see you back at it even if its just a one off for fun every now and then.
17:45 I actually started my first character and specifically remember choosing Adventurer. I got a cooked meat, a tinderbox, and a hatchet. Pretty sure praygood and prayevil were removed by that point though. It would've been in 2003.
Hell yeah man! I missed you! Hope you and the family are doing good man!
Hi I love your videos mote plox I'm 13 and you made me want to play RuneScape and now it's my favorite game
Hey, thanks man. :) I appreciate you! I'm glad you like RuneScape. Keep playing - you never know where this game will take you in life. :)
What an incredible video. The dedication and hard work that went to this is insane. Thanks for making it, will be incredible to look back on in years to come (as it is already)
The legend is back! Perfect timing though after the Swampletics void.
Ah man I'm nowhere near as a legend as that man. Appreciate ya! :)
Much love,
Roshawn
An upload from you is always a happy welcome my dude... love your videos.
Thanks Cory. :) I really appreciate that man!
51:54 I think there was a small mine where the "tower" is near the bridge/fishing spot, which they later moved into the middle
The screenshot section got me good. I remember looking through them almost every day before I would log in, so that I could see accounts that were doing all of this cool stuff I didn't know how to do. Just a little way to motivate me to get out and actually trying to learn things, rather than standing around treating the game like a chat room
Mote is here with AN HOUR OF CONTENT!!! Best thing in 2021 guys, calling it.
Appreciate you being here man, thank you. :)
Amazing video man you really threw me in memory lane with the RSC clips
THIS DUDE DOESNT MISS 🥶
Appreciate you being here man. :)
I appreciate your videos brother, you've dealt with a lot and have come a long way, never stop doing what you do man, you're damn good at it
Man, there has to be more RS content out there for you to make. I'd watch every single one.
Amazing video. I need to ask, though, and I'm shocked no one else is asking: How are you getting all the footage of the old RS2 versions of the game? The old models, animations, old varrock etc. I need to know!
The 2005 footage is from a server called Scape05. It's literally a replica of Runescape in 2005.
Along with scape05 there is a server source available for the true beta stuff, it just isn't anywhere near as functional as scape05 but that can be used to showcase the simpler stuff and he can spawn items in that since he would be an admin on his own server
did not expect this to be as much of a deep dive into rs as it ended up being, well done
Btw I’ve only played RS for about an hour over a decade ago. Yet I’m subbed to ur channel and love your content. You have a real knack for making captivating content. I’d prolly watch you if you made videos on any subject. Anyways, hope ur doing well lad best of wishes 🫂
Pretty sure he has another channel that does non rs content
Thats kinda wholesome. :)
Thanks for the nice comment Nicolas. :) I really appreciate you. I do have a 2nd channel called "The Top Tens" that's non-RuneScape related top 10s. :) Appreciate the kind words, again!
Great video Brandon! So glad to see you back uploading
This guy's the MadSeasonShow of Runescape
Ooo dang but did mote plox quit RuneScape?…
I-is... Is that good?! Do we like that?! D: Loool
@@Mote_Plox Of course we do!
Good to have you back bro! We’ve missed you!
Missed you too man, thanks. :)
God it’s been almost 7 years already? Time passes oh so quickly sometimes.
So damn quickly... I'm almost 30 now lol.
Those screenshots took me back to my childhood days. Back when the game was magical and there were rarely any sweats
Never clicked on any video faster in my life
Never agreed with a comment harder in my life
@@michaelbarker6732 Hahaha thanks Michael. :)
Thanks for being here Bryce. :)
great video! thank you for the time since the beginning and congrats on 150k!
Thanks Chacksen. :) I appreciate ya!
When he started talking about zombies and fishing bait, I prepared myself. The real fans will know what I'm talking about.
I regret that so much. 😂 You've been here for a long time if you remember that! Appreciate you!
@@Mote_Plox And we appreciate you, man. No matter what the upload schedule is.
whats the plot here?
@@lucassaueressig1411 Watch Mote's very first Facts video.
The Return of the King
Thanks for being here Cow Boi. :)
@@Mote_Plox Thank you for the content you make for the viewers!
$100 million/hr marvel movie? No thanks. I’d rather watch RuneScape lore
I had to do a double take to see who uploaded this, took me back to almost childhood. Crazy.
I couldn’t believe it when I saw this thumbnail and it was posted 8 days ago. Welcome back. I’ve been watching your content for years.
