Thanks for posting video---appreciate that you documented this unique guitar!!!!
Beautiful! For those who are curious; 100 dollars in 1901 is equivalent in purchasing power to about 3,700 dollars today.
I'm guessing they'll want more than that today. 🤣
So the extra $30 for same serial was another $1200 approx today...
What a nut job!! Can't believe they kept agreeing to his requests, thanks for posting!
What a beautiful video, top, and workshop! Thanks for sharing this great story and instrument.
Wow. Incredible piece with a one of a kind story. These guitar will never be duplicated to this level and the craftsmanship is so exquisite.
Great story some people are just so picky and a lovely old Martin
Might buy this and send it into Martin for a retop.
Even through PC speakers that is the best sounding Martin I may have ever heard. Combination of warm and wonderful note definition. I can smell the credit cards melting in a race to make a new home for this extraordinary piece.

Crazy hearing my unusual last name attached to an old martin like that...

Beautiful looking and sounding guitar! It would have originally had gut strings and an ivory bridge. Thanks for sharing this piece of history!
