This was fun. I do like your new book organization. You are at a crossroad in life. I’m not surprised to see you doing an un-haul now. We go through phases and motherhood is a big one. Embrace and enjoy every moment of it!
I like the new look! I found this video great, as it's helped me figure out what historical fic I might not be interested in. Happy new year to you and your family. I look forward to hearing more about your reading and life this year.
Hi! I’m new to your channel. Just a quick answer regarding your new organization even though it might have changed since this video . . . I like the breakdown into the genres within your collection. If you didn’t ‘rainbow’ out each section, I would suggest placing first TBR choices on top or to a side.
I love your new shelf look! I missed this video the other day, could bedd a good out bad thing though, because you had a bunch you said were going on your page and now gone. I like people letting books go. I really need to do that.
I never film unhauls either! I read a book and if it isn’t incredible and one I’ll reread I don’t keep it. They often go out by ones and twos 😂 Bravo! I’m in a declutter mood too but not books… ready for a pantry, and storage room clear out❗️
You've inspired me to declutter my TBR list on goodreads. I don't buy many physical books but my goodreads TBR list is out of hand. I don't even remember why half of them are there.
I need to unhaul books myself. I’ll probably start with the Book of the Month Club books I’ve collected over the years. Most are books I’ve enjoyed but will never reread. I think the criteria of ridding shelves of books I want reread is a good starting point. I like your new shelf system. It makes sense to me as a reader and I think shelving by category makes books easier to find.
You mentioned Russian historical fiction, it made me curious because i dont really know much about Russian books but it perked my interest & i want to know more from your perspective. I hope you can share your collection and recommendations. Please and thank you! :)
Thank you for your interest! I did a video a few years back of some books on my TBR set in Russia/Ukraine, but I can definitely do an updated one on ones I've read and own.
New subscriber. I agree. I hated Jane Eyre as well. I did love Magpie Murders though. But PBS masterpiece did an adaption that was very good that you could watch.
Lol, I got tickled at you describing Jane Eyre because I feel the same way. However, I do hope to get to War and Peace sometime this year. Your shelves look beautiful! Happy Reading!
I felt a little scared to admit that because it’s such a beloved classic, but everyone I express an unpopular opinion, I find I’m not the only one! And thanks!
Pollyanna is a good book..there are several movie adaptions..one speaks much more about racism than the other but a inspiring little girl story. Hope you like it
You are after my heart. First, I only keep books I want to re-read, or on my unread TBR. I admit I’m not fond of Agatha Christie, although I’ll pick up an occasional one of hers. I didn’t like Jane Eyer either. Go girl!
I had a second copy that I bought second hand for my Little Free Library! No worries, I'm keeping my other copy that I read on my shelves. It's a favorite that I would totally reread one day.

So true! I am embracing this season of transitions and new things and decluttering/cleaning seems to go along with it!

Thanks so much for the kind words and feedback. Happy new year to you too! 💕

They still look the same for the most part. Love that idea! Thanks for the recommendation.
I love a good UNhaul!! This was fun to watch!
It felt so good to get rid of some books and clean the shelves. Thanks for watching!

It felt so good to get rid of some and declutter!
Omg I gasped at the Complete Stories of Hercule Poirot - I wish I lived close to you to snatch it from a LFL 😂
I know, I know! All the Christie fans would disapprove. Oh, I would so send it over to ya if I could ❤️
Unhauls are sooooo entertaining!!
It felt so good to do! I think this is only the beginning of this declutter project.
@@GloriaZThompson ooooh, will you be filming more decluttering content?
Potentially! At least more within my books/bookshelves I think.@@lovelydaywithholly
I am with you 100% on A Gentlemen in Moscow. 👍🏻 How inspiring to go through your shelves. I really need to do this too. Happy New Year!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks that way. Thank you! Happy New Year to you too 💕

I’m in a declutter mood with everything but since books are easily visible I thought I’d start there 📚🙃
LOVED your video.
Thank you!
❤📚 I think the shelves look like a book lovers' shelves.😊👍 I keep only 5 star books I feel I'll reread as well.
You've inspired me to declutter my TBR list on goodreads. I don't buy many physical books but my goodreads TBR list is out of hand. I don't even remember why half of them are there.
Glad to be an inspiration! I love purging my goodreads "want to read" list too!

Thank you! So far I’m loving it and it does make more sense with organization as a reader. Hope your unhaul/declutter project goes well!

Welcome, thanks for saying hi! Oh good to know about the miniseries. I love television/movies just as much as books.

Ok great! I'll have to check out an adaptation after I'm done reading the book. I did decide to pick it up and am reading it now.
I’ve read 1 Susan Meissner book and it made it on my best books of the year, so I def want to read more!
She has a huge backlist, so there's lots to choose from. If you haven't read Nature of Fragile Things yet -- do it!
The giver of stars was my favorite book of this year.
I read war amd peace this year, and I was so bored through most of it.
I figured I would be too, so I have no problems saying goodbye to it!
You are after my heart. First, I only keep books I want to re-read, or on my unread TBR. I admit I’m not fond of Agatha Christie, although I’ll pick up an occasional one of hers. I didn’t like Jane Eyer either. Go girl!
Love that we agree on some of these “unpopular” book takes, Glenda! ❤️
Atonement Child is one of my favorite Francine Rivers books. However, it’s been awhile since I read it, so that might not be the case anymore.
Oh good to know! Maybe I hold on to that one for now.
What is your pango?? Cause I would looooove that Four Winds!
It’s listed in the description of the video, but that one was already sold! Sorry!
Lol I enjoyed One by One!
📚😊
You're unhauling Where the Lost Wander?? Why?
I had a second copy that I bought second hand for my Little Free Library! No worries, I'm keeping my other copy that I read on my shelves. It's a favorite that I would totally reread one day.
Your baby boy is so adorable! Thanks for this video, it was fun to watch. I love unhaul videos, lol.
Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it! 💕
I am glad someone else didn't care for Daisy Jones book. I didn't care for the characters.
Yeah, Taylor Jenkins Reid books just don’t entice me.
Outlander does have some boring books and thats from another Outlander fan
Glad I'm not the only one that thinks so! There are some interesting storylines, but goodness some things are just dragged out too much.
