I'm an Hispanic-American living in Korean, and this is beautiful, many many of my friends explain to me how they wish they didn't have to use an English name, so I find it important to always try and learn their Korean name.
Same happens on my own with Mariana, I am used to telling people my name is Marianne or Marian because just the simple taste of Latino in my name still manages to bite their tongues, as if my name was one they had never heard before
