I've just watched another videos before this and yes they do remove those things, but it's a job for another company, like for example this hoarding house is a job for 2 companies, the agency contract the first company to clean up the garbage and stuffs, while the next company will be cleaning and disposing any surface contacted by fluids or something like that, they also will do sorta sterilization, well all I knew, it's an outstandingly hard job sooooo my respect for'em 🙏🙏

in our country we dont have such term of dying alone. when a country have such term, in means that this is occuring a lot in their country. such a sad situation for a modern country
Actually all humas dying alone. When we talk about natural death, none humans accompanied another human dying and following them die at very same moment. In fact when a human's dying by a natural cause such as an irreversible sickness, they never knew even if all of their family gathered around them - they already lost their awareness follow by lost consciousness several hours before they pronounced "dying". They also will never knew how many weeks or months they spent on the ICU before they die when the medical team and the family keep fight for their life.
It came to my mind that maybe the cat who seeked contact, but too shy, was his last friend, as it happens so often ? What becomes of them .Another tragedy noone sees ? The only ones who cared left alone to die next.....
It is painful to imagine a human life ending this way. It is respectable in which the workers endure this reality while carrying out their work with such care and respect. I can't grasp why a man who cannot use hands or walk would be left alone completely to live on his own. There must have been some support to bring food and supplies into the house, to stack up his magazines and personal hygiene...how else?
Maybe he only contacted the mother when needed money as a must and felt so ashamed for how things were so didn't contact anyone else in the family also living like that a sign of depression and maybe mental health problems?.
My father also passed away alone in his home back in the US. He died because of heart attack, 4 days after before someone knew that his dead and that is not his neighbour nor the landlord but his co-worker, because he checkup on him after gone for 2 days on there workplace. One of the best measures of a people is the way in which they treat their dead. I respect the man from the beginning who views this ritual as a show of dignity and respect.
I recently just learned about this particular Japanese culture and I felt really sad. I think communication is really important between families and the society we live in especially with us growing adults. Depression is real. :(

It's heartbreaking to be made aware of this. I've been to/worked in Japan numerous times...and I never knew of this. I've always respected their culture and strong family ties, some in which our family has adopted. In this day and age of fast pace, hard long work hours, technology, I can see where families are falling apart. God Bless you all for helping all those affected by this sad situation. Stay safe always. Prayers for all the souls who left this world, alone... ✝️🙏🏽🥺
I do restoration services which includes cleanup and repairs to bring places back to habitable conditions. Never had to do one where somebody passed away. Hoarders are the worse but most cases when valuables and important items😊 are found we try to get them back to family. Lots of times family cannot be located and owners or managers just says keep them.
Maybe the guy who died was "selfish" or he was just misunderstood by a selfish family. I feel bad for whoever it was. The brother seems pretty selfish, himself to talk bad about his deceased brother like that.
I've done this job very similar for 9 years. I took care of Dementia patients and have had to prepare the resident after passing away so they can be transferred to the morg/hospital I've seen it all in the unit I worked in. That work is very meaningful to me I'm glad I was able to help families with the passing of their loved ones 👪
No one bothered with him while he was alive, 20 people show up at his death because there is money to be made. This basically sums up how humans treat each other.
the worst thing that could happen is if the olderst sibling is brother.. brothers are very selfish... sisters are really like mothers very considered about the family..... i imagain our life without my old sister, it would be awful.

17:25 workers need better gloves and latex gloves ( certain brands ) can be layered one glove on top of another for germ protection and order 3 sizes small or medium or large. The correct size glove will allow flexibility and dexterity. Double or even tripple glove layers gives better protection from viruses for this type of cleaning. One single layer of a cheap nitrite or plastic glove is not enough protection… one layer can tear and blood or other harmful bio hazard liquids could touch skin of worker and if an open cut is present could contaminate the worker. Liquid hand sanitizer before and after entering the bio hazard unit area would be better as well and lysol disinfectant spray would help too. I've just watched another videos before this and yes they do remove those things, but it's a job for another company, like for example this hoarding house is a job for 2 companies, the agency contract the first company to clean up the garbage and stuffs, while the next company will be cleaning and disposing any surface contacted by fluids or something like that, they also will do sorta sterilization, well all I knew, it's an outstandingly hard job sooooo my respect for'em 🙏🙏
was that Spalding cleaning services as far as I remembered ?
If the deceased was indeed disabled, then it's his brother's and family's fault that he had to die alone. Nobody who can't use their hands and feet should EVER live alone without any help. I am so sorry. Zero respect to his brother. He didn't bother checking in on his disabled brother and still insulted him when he's not even here anymore. Huge respect to the cleaners!
I don't think someone with a physical disability can even create as much clutter as the poor guy lived in. There's a certain amount of agility needed to even manoeuvre around all the trash .
@@RedFlyingFox007 that is true, unless the man was in a wheelchair or motorized chair. But yes its hard tell he must have been very disabled at that point because of the build of materials in his home 🏡
Very sad. Seeing that room was like being given a glimpse into the deceased person's mind. Tragic.
27:34 Kodoku-shi, the people who die lonely at the room are about 30.000 a year.
It means 3 people die lonely in 1 hour in Japan
I’ve just seen another documentary where it’s estimated that the number has now risen to 40,000 lonely deaths per year..
Very heartbreaking to see, it seems the person who passed had hoarding issue. It can be very troublesome when they have no help. They could been dealing with depression
The panning shot at the end struck me. A purely liminal structure that, regardless, refuses to lose its marks of humanity.
His entire backstory is like move to heaven :/ from the fireman story and all. What a noble job
So many Young's leave their olds and go to other place where friends, work and enjoyment exists and left the olds live in loneliness
How messedup and scary the fact, when you become reclusive your family members can forget you. Dont want my space to endup like that ever
They can be already dead.
@@learningenglishthroughtran8540 having strong bonds with the family is important
They are so quick, organized, and thorough. Thank God for people who can do this! It is fascinating in a way.
Sad to think no one even checked on this old relative for weeks...shameful
Never knew that the Japanese were so callous !
I think it's impossible for us to judge about the situation.. we don't know what the deceased was like before he died and we don't really know how the familt fell apart for him
@@fabiennerottiers2909 if visiting your brother per week is something conditional, then this is not a life... the way he is talking about his brother after his death is just weired.. there is no sense of sadness or guilt... i have a brother who cause us alot of problems, but i would never wish something bad him, bc he is my brother.
in our country we dont have such term of dying alone. when a country have such term, in means that this is occuring a lot in their country. such a sad situation for a modern country
Everyone die alone, hun. If you want to die with your loved ones ok, go jump off the 1000 feet (ca. 305 meters) of a building with your partner.
Thank you for this video
Maybe he only contacted the mother when needed money as a must and felt so ashamed for how things were so didn't contact anyone else in the family also living like that a sign of depression and maybe mental health problems?.
My father also passed away alone in his home back in the US. He died because of heart attack, 4 days after before someone knew that his dead and that is not his neighbour nor the landlord but his co-worker, because he checkup on him after gone for 2 days on there workplace. Such terrible news for us when i received the bad news, i cannot even cry i just composed myself but deep inside me i'm broken hearted. Rest in peace to all the souls suffered a lonely death.😢
😔🥺

That is not true! God is always with us.
This is sad because we are a very emphatic species.. but we are 7+billions in world of course many will be bound to die alone.. all animals do as well..
That’s why there’s a saying “your born alone and you die alone”
As with so many Japanese documentaries, a person talks for like 30 seconds or more and there's one short phrase. This happens even on NHK and I'm left wondering what was actually said. As an experienced interpreter/translator myself, it makes me crazy.
Everyone dies alone unless in a passenger plane or buss crashing into a tanker truck
One of the best measures of a people is the way in which they treat their dead. I respect the man from the beginning who views this ritual as a show of dignity and respect.
Rest his soul 🙏 poor guy was dealing with alot.
I recently just learned about this particular Japanese culture and I felt really sad. I think communication is really important between families and the society we live in especially with us growing adults. Depression is real. :(
while i was watching this video, i didn’t notice i was covering my nose and mouth because i might smell the foul odor. the work of those cleaners is impressive.
It's like MOVE TO HEAVEN a korean series. I didn't know that it really happens in real life 🥺 no one bother to check on him, he is disabled for cring out loud! and yet living alone. And the brother have the guts saying "he's selfish" its sad that he died alone 😔 i hope you found peace 🙏
I've several watched the videos about lonely death and still sheed the tears, I don't want that happen to me later, and should grateful even your parrent or siblings made you feel little annoying sometimes like whatsap or call just to ask where are you, are you stay at home
kudos and respect for all the staffs, they're really pro, God bless you all 👏🏼
特殊清掃の現場を見ると思い出す映画「ザ・クリーナー 消された殺人 (2007)」 特殊清掃という仕事をこの映画で初めて知りました。
I refuse to die that way
Thank you 💕
Wow what kind and brave people! My heart goes out to them! 🙏🏻♥️
Amen
I can't believe they stopped to have lunch, I don't think I could eat after seeing that for a few days, forget about it !!!
The lack of empathy from the owner and brother of the dead man distrubs me
WOW, thank you for making this documentary. I'm very happen I watch the video.
I do restoration services which includes cleanup and repairs to bring places back to habitable conditions. Never had to do one where somebody passed away. Hoarders are the worse but most cases when valuables and important items😊 are found we try to get them back to family. Lots of times family cannot be located and owners or managers just says keep them.
not gonna lie, ill probably end up like this.
This is done in the U.S. by companies that specialize & are hazmat trained & special bags are used too.
Maybe the guy who died was "selfish" or he was just misunderstood by a selfish family. I feel bad for whoever it was. The brother seems pretty selfish, himself to talk bad about his deceased brother like that.
We are better together than apart
I'll take those magazines for him, rip my man
So many mangas and r18 magazines.
I gotta hand it to these guys, there is no way in hell I can do this job!
That's what it looks like to me. Where was the damnn help for the man!!
the worst thing that could happen is if the olderst sibling is brother.. brothers are very selfish... sisters are really like mothers very considered about the family..... i imagain our life without my old sister, it would be awful.
Happens in America as well
17:12 i can see him on the foto , is him or isn‘t ?
あと40年経てば自分も孤独死になりそう・・・でも部屋はキレイにしてこの世を去りたいかな。
Make rules you have to clean if your room succinct you will feel less stress
There is a need of............this makes me sad, really. In one side of the world, millions are looking to do anything to earn something to support their life, on the other side of the world, elders are dying alone until decaying!
10 years worth of rent deposit? Damn!
People in the comments need to stop judging. We only got 30min how can we pretend to know about their entire lives?
Great job evergreen! So sorry about 8050. etc....your a lovely people!
They need indoor garbage-sleds or small dumpsters on big, soft wheels or tank tracks.
If I would have the chance to taking care of those alone people in any races, genders, ages, & status- I would heartily do that.🙏🙏🙏
I'd rather not be found than to be found dead in some apartment.
We really have no choice or say in the matter of when we are going to drop dead, could happen sitting at your computer even as we type back and forth to each other. Death can creep up on us when we least expect it.
The head of the cleaning team is a young and handsome man. Normally, such assigment should be paid handsomely. Not many cleaning company willing to take on such jobs.
What does his appearance have to do with the job he does?
If the man couldn't use his hands or legs, why wasn't he in a nursing home/ Doesn't Japan have nursing homes?
The brother said he had a deposit of 10 years’ rent. I’m not familiar with that phrase or what it means?
As per my understanding, he will give it to the owner of the house (since his brother is not yet paid of the rent) and to Evergreen memorial services for cleaning/collecting his brother remains.
Did Mundo bring you here too? Great job to you guys, it must be a difficult task but you still do it to bring closure to the decaesed and their relatives.
Being born into this world is hell. 😢
One single layer of a cheap nitrite or plastic glove
is not enough protection… one layer can tear and blood or other harmful bio hazard liquids could touch skin of worker and if an open cut is present could contaminate the worker.
Liquid hand sanitizer before and after
entering the bio hazard unit area would be better as well and lysol disinfectant spray would help too.
Pass these costs onto the client.
ps the body suits are good and the breathing masks … good job !
* So Sad … truly .
kamu melakukan pekerjaan yang mulia.. terima kasih
Not everyone needs people around.
A dog has a better life than humans general because he's free from having a job or be a slave
My Father layed dead for 8 days in his home in Germany. after the smell was unbearable a neighbour called the police....
Check in with someone everyday,
We all die alone...
Thats what I realized too, even if our love ones are around our deathbed still we suffer and die alone , no matter how much they would like to help ease our last moments, they watch pray lets us know they love and care but we go alone
Unless you have Jesus.
This totally will be me, but I don't mind
It takes a strong person to clean up dead bodies for a living.
The deceased person is clearly a hoarder.
A lot of the people who die alone in Japan tend to die in really messy houses. Probably whatever psychological issues they had that made it difficult to clean also made it difficult keep up personal relationships.
reminds me of Death Sweeper manga
