Fun fact: Serbia is the only country who won the Eurovision with their debut song.
Technically Switzerland did also win with their debut entry.
@@ricooric2580 Nope,1956 each countries have 2 entries so Switzerland winning entries isn't debut entry.
@@MINH-rk2iv they won on their first participation. Both songs are from the same year. I read you comment wrong I thought you ment the first year they participated.
I mean Serbia Montenegro competed but I see your point
@@beandrag9019 And technically 1974 was the representative from Belgrade, but again… understood.
Georgia 2007 is definitely my favourite debut
Amazing song!!!
Interesting to note that MDA's first and recent entrants are the same artists...
#HeyHoLetsGo
Omg yea that's so cool
I remember in 2007 I knew very little about Georgia. When I watched their debut performance I thought that they were actually coming from the future. It's like this with Georgian entries, they are either very old and tired or super fresh and avantgarde, no in between. And yes, best debut ever.
One of my favourite entries of all-time
1994 was such a year.
Georgia's debut entry is still their best one
Disagree,"One More Day" is their best imo
So legendary.💖
Except for One More Day but this is also just 11 out of 10
I think 'One More Day' is a bit better but their debut entry still was incredible
Serbia & Poland had the most slay debuts
I thought you meant Serbia & Montenegro the country for a sec
Well, Poland was actually more impressive. Serbia was originally part of Yugoslavia (with quite a few entrants from Serbia throughout the competition's history). Poland was a completely new country.
Poland was part from URSS but the URSS was never allowed to participate in Eurovision
Hungary 1994, Serbia and Montenegro 2004, Georgia 2007 - that's how you commence your trip.
Željko is the true legend.
all of those songs are amazing, it’s just such a shame that hungary 1994 is about the ‘dangers of abortion’ and basically a pro-life song
Really? Then I really hate this song. But Poland, Bosnia Herzegovina, Azerbaijan, Albania, Armenia, Georgia, Serbia and Montenegro and Serbia all had really good debut entries.
@@alfie.fenn1 Really? Then I love this song.
I will never get over San Marino's debut coming last. Miodio were robbed.
San Marino’s debut was robbed. So unfair they came last with one of the best debuts ,(in my opinion),in Eurovision ever!!!!
Especially in a semi final with shit like Estonia and Ireland.
Visionary Dream the best
Moldova 2005 is a banger
georgia is by far the best
Beautiful songs of Georgia 2007,San Marino 2008 and Australia 2015.
San marino for sure. Also the most underrated one
Georgia, San Marino and Australia are very good. Greece such a bop too
Poland's debut was so sweet and Georgia's was amazing.
Turkish, Swedish and Monagasque debut entries are masterpieces
Monagasgue Monaco?
🇩🇰🇹🇷🇷🇺🇵🇱🇷🇸❤️
Fun fact: Tunisia 🇹🇳 was supposed to debut in 1977. Lebanon 🇱🇧 was supposed to debut in 2005 with "Quand Tout S'enfuit". Both withdrew. If Yugoslavia didn't change their name to "Serbia & Montenegro", then their 2004 entry wouldn't count as a debut entry
Actually, you are wrong about Yugoslavia part. The country which debuted in 60's was with 6 republics (Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and (North) Macedonia).
on the other hand, if they had changed their name right after the break up then the 1992 entry would've counted as their debut (they were sanctioned though and with the added relegation system they still would've probably not have been able to return until 2004)
But Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo didn't claim independence until the late 2000s and their official name after Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and North Macedonia became independent was Yugoslavia (actually FRO Yugoslavia) until 2003, when it became Serbia and Montenegro.
it would have been real fun if Tunisia and Lebanon joined the contest more diversity more richness and that’s what eurovision is all about
@@khouloudyh7303 absolutely, I hope, that one day, they're gonna join while Morocco is going to return.
2024: Kazahstan 🤞🤞
Nope😢 Hopefully next year though!!🙏
Armenia's debut entry is so underrated, this is my opinion. If you don't agree,
that's fine.
No I completely agree, everything about it is amazing and should have gotten higher in my opinion!
@@pyrossal9636 thx i thought that as well
Finally someone who likes it!I'm sick of people saying it was terrible,it was really good, especially the intro!
It slaps
E x a c t l y it's such a bop!
1994 was such an amazing year
Latvia 2000 is a personal favorite of mine
Mine too. Beautiful song I listen to on Spotify.
1:58
Spain (1961) came before Norway (1960)
I love all debut entries. Very good and beautiful. Some more disappointing then others but they're all good.
Wow Azerbaijan Armenia and Georgia are interesting debut entries
Conchita Bautista we love you 💓
In 2024 Qatar/ Cuba and Scotland was new county in Eurovision songs contest
In 2024 Scotland and Qatar was new entered in Eurovision songs contest
What?😂
Serbian debut is the best debut ever!
Switzerland won on their first attempt too
@@Markstubation01 bc it's first contest ever, every country that year debuted
@@mfeurovision7039 And Serbia had competed for over 40 years as part of Yugoslavia first and then Serbia & Montenegro. They weren't new to the contest, they had experience, thus their win wasn't remarkable.
@@Markstubation01 i know that, because I'm from Serbia
@@mfeurovision7039 Exactly, so you should know better
my favorite debuts are bosnia, serbia & australia
San Marino 2008 😍
Greece, Serbia, Poland, San Marino had my favorites
Just waiting for the Kazakhstan one!
Serbia had the best debut, it literally won!
Kinek mondjam el vètkeimet ❤️
Armenia's debut entry is good!! It deserved a higher placing.
André was so great that year!
Georgia truly ate that up💖
New acts in 2024 Eurovision songs contest
Dua Lipa
Camila Cabello
Shawn Mendes
Sia
2023: Kazahstan 🤞🤞
Unfortunately not 😢
Where is Australia
I hope, this list is gonna be extended very soon. Would be nice to see Kosovo, Lebanon and Liechtenstein enter the Contest as well. And maybe Kazakhstan, since it's partly in Europe as well, even though it's another Putin puppet stage with lots of political issues. But maybe this could change less than a decade from now.
Kazakhstan is allowed to participate in the Junior Eurovision but so far, there's still no sign of them getting invite to compete in the adult Eurovision like Australia. I hope they would be invited someday. And I do hope Russia would be able to return when the war ended and Russia's membership is resumed.
@@quangminhtran2916 I know. If it's OK for them to compete in Junior Eurovision, then it must be OK for them to compete in the adult version as well. At least for artists from the European part, I should say. Just like with Russia. And speaking of which, yes, I hope, that they will return after their war has ended and their membership is restored. I also wouldn't mind Belarus competing again, at least after their dictatorship has ended.
I wouldn't say it's in Europe but it is connected to the EBU. I'm also not sure it's as much a puppet state as you say I thought it had moved more away from Russia, though no doubt it has some problems of its own.
@@starry2006 yes, but if it manages to move further away from Russia and have less issues regarding democracy, then why not.
@@in_wino_veritas Belarus' membership will be restored after 2024 meaning they're welcome to comeback in 2025 if they're still interested in participating in the contest. I think by that time Russia's membership is also resumed and they both might make a huge comeback in 2025, though I think if the war ended before that then Russia would be allowed to returned sooner or later.
I hope Kosovo will make its Eurovision debut starting next year🇽🇰
🤞🏻
Nope
They can't unless serbia leaves the contest for many reasons, search it up.
@@nicoledickson6099 yes so i prefer Serbia. We have already Albania so we can hear Albanian songs in Esc. Kosovo should solve their political problems
Absolutely, I hope that soon, they're gonna enter the Contest as well.
BRING VATICAN TO EUROVISION!!!! (kappa)
Hell yea, I wanna see the pope dressed in drag singing on a stage in Latin
