Tip for anyone planning to play any of these games: watch as little content about it before finishing the main story as possible. I always watch tons of guides etc, and then get spoiled by some comments or the UA-cam algorithm.
Assassin's Creed Origins are my type of game and killed a lot of time. Historical correctness of ancient Egypt is actually good. Lost in the desert while riding a camel, the pyramid structures, old villages of Egypt are mesmerizing. And it is also 48-42 BC (approx).
Most people finished the game less than 100 hours. Me personally still play Cyberpunk occationally and it has 300+ hours of gameplay. Yea it's kinda sad why Cyberpunk was not on the list.
Black flag is damn shit rn. I understand that when the game was released it was definitely fun but I played it for the first time few weeks before and thr game is not good. The naval missions are damn crap.

@@haswagray3593 I get it-the beginning feels a bit slow. Plus, you shouldn’t play just to finish it. Take your time and explore at your own pace. Try doing one or two quests a day until you really start to feel drawn into the world. That’s what I did. I just finished the base game today and haven’t touched the DLCs yet. I enjoyed it immensely, and by the end of the main quest, I had a peaceful, emotional smile on my face 😊. I’ll start the DLCs in about a month; I don’t want to oversaturate myself. Happy gaming.
@@anhbayar11 thathas nothing to with the world though. The worlds, such as Elden Ring, are very alive, look very good, and have a ton of variation. Maybe the genre isn' for you, but the world is undoubtedly alive and immersive.
I couldn't get into it, although I wanted to. It felt boring, and also hard? Like the combat was difficult for some reason but I don't know how? It's hard to explain, but I wish I could've gotten into it, but truly it is god awful to me.

Id recommend The Long Dark. Surviving in the Canadian wilderness after a geomagnetic storm and having ot learn to hunt, craft, scavenge and survive. Cartoon style graphics but super realistic.

I get criticizing botw and totk for their "less than photorealistic" graphics, but a) back to the good old discussion on whether games can be considered art or not, blablabla, the graphics are made to look as they do by choice to get a stylized look, and b) having a less resource-demanding artstyle allows you to play a 100++ hour open world adventure/rpg(lite) game, with the most though through physics system since Garry's mod back in rhe the day, which allows for endless opportunities on how to get shit done. And keep in nind that all this runs at a steady framerate, with almost no frame drops, no loading, no transition between exterior and interior(not as much as a 1sec fade out/fade in on entering a building, on a handheld that has innards that at best are comparable to the 360.

Its so nice to see that you have included Flight Sim in your list. This title gets left out of many videos like yours so really great that you gave it a shout out. What more could we ask for - it gives as a photorealistic 1:1 Earth, the entire planet! I couldn't stand RDR2, utterly boring and filled with irritating characters. The one amazing thing about it without a doubt is the open world. Thankfully thanks to mods I have turned RDR2 into a cowboy Just Cause. I can fly around like Superman, extreme gore mod, slaughtering everyone in sight lol.

And the hacking methods and the things we can do in the game also burns so much hours... (Ik the story sucks... But the open world and the Gameplay mechanics are dope)... It did have a rocky start, fortunately for me I had like no bugs on my first 2 playthroughs (when it first released, which is when all the bugs were around, so I really was lucky), but all that is fixed now. You may get the occasional bug as I've heard (but personally still not seen other than very minor issues that I can't re-call because it's been a while since I played), but other than that it is truly amazing. Great story, like AMAZING story, combat is great, idek what else to say it truly is awesome. Worth a try!
