I saw the movie first half was brilliant just brilliant but second half honestly be tru he did lose the plot Zoya angle not needed booby deol was a guest appearance honestly. The end credit scenes what was that . And father fixation was totally blown honestly this should have been the best movie in 5 yrs he failed in that . Ranbir is next level but definitely this movie would have become a classic if it was not the haywire of script sense . Still 3 out 5 though honestly was heading for 5 out 5 till interval

Tripti was taken in this movie because rashmika refused to do bed scenes after a point . But director had to show sex , so he took a smaller actress

Ranbir emerged as unbeatable action star…and Sandeep became the versatile and master of mass story teller, this movie has no rules, no limits and same applies to the revenue it makes, everyone who watches will discuss it for long time, it’s a roller coaster journey watching this movie , what a thrilling experience from our routine same old backward formula movies . Hats off to the producer who bankrolled this movie . Sandeep is my all time favorite director now.
This film isnt for kids and family audience

Honest Review, Watched the movie 3 times in theaters.. This is the first movie i have seen more than once in a theater and that too 3 times.. I like movies like Satya, Shiva, GOW , God father, Animal is extraordinary, even though it is not a gangster movie, it give more kick than an gangster movie.. Excellent drama and screen play and Oh my God, Ranbir is too good..

Some people like the movie some people don't , doesn't matter. I dint like it much either apart from the acting. Everybody is so busy giving their opinion now. My Mantra don't take any movie seriously unless it's based on real life or documentary , everything else is a figment of someone's imagination. Last movie I dint take seriously either, yet I loved the movie was Satpa Sagara dache ello. So guys relax. You paid to watch the movie, its done ..like it , dont like it doesnt matter now. But next time if there is a movie from same makers then you have a choice to watch it or skip it.

Ranbir is Fantastic, Rashmika, Anil Kapoor very good but disappointed part is Bobby Deol has very small role and 2nd half 1 hr very boring. Too long film to digest.

"Animal"presented what our industry needs right now.The story is engaging and though, long, the performances and the conviction in Ranbir,Anil and Bobby's characters make it worthwhile.The amount of violence in this movie is out of the box in a good way, the blood and gore is not for the faint hearted, definitely a benchmark kind of Tarantino-esque.Last and my favourite the BGM of animal is more than just a Punjabi song it defines the essence of it.

Animal is so underwhelming in comparison to Kabir Singh. Some scenes from Kabir Singh still make me emotional to date. For me, Kabir Singh is 9/10 and Animal is 3/10.

One Line Review: Family Vengeance Issue Portrayed through Quentin Tarantino style.
Ranbir Kapoor as an animal. An extremely violent version of Ranbir had been showcased here & he fits into these shoes well. Sandeep had taken out his extreme rage character & had made him toiled for this character which we were able to notice on the screen.
Bobby Deol comes at the last 1 hour & his contribution had any impact. As his character was a mute person, his impact was too a mute. If it is conveyed in a way that it’s not always words but sometimes less words more action speaks as a defence mechanism, still Bobby Deol was under-utilized.
Anil Kapoor whose character is the soul and why this title suits Ranbir's character, had done a decent performance.
Rashmika an Ok performance delivery.
But the film which was rocketing high in the first half with a terrific interval block , 2nd half was down with over insertion of family drama, father - son bond, lust, last few hours of stretched feel made the movie watching unbearable.
Sandeep had taken a told known topic in a violent mode. So, it's like a coconut appearing to be tough at out but when broken it's decayed.
Still a 1-time Watchable flick. 3 / 5
Watching Animal was like driving a BMW at 200 kmph . Full of adrenaline.

Watched this movie despite the backlash, especially from women. To begin with, this movie is not for starters, or people who believe that cinema has an influence on the audience's minds (which is true for 90% of the audience). If you are extremely self-aware, look at movies solely from the perspective of entertainment and nothing more than that, have the capacity to differentiate between right and wrong, and are not influenced by any external factors - only then this movie is for you. This movie serves no purpose other than masala entertainment - there's action, drama, passion.
Personally, I think it's a good one time watch, again considering that you are an educated audience and not someone who gets influenced very easily. Ranbir's hands down best ever performance, this man is a freaking beast. Might sound a bit exagerrated but this movie kept reminding me of American Psycho - a thriller that serves no other purpose than pure entertainment. There's no hero in this movie. Ranbir is a toxic villain. If this is what the makers wanted to make of him, then they did an abolutely fantastic job.
I get the backlash that the movie has been receiving and rightfully so. Both the audiences are correct, let's just appreciate the movie for what it is and hate it for what it is.

A movie for a niche audience who like violence and gore, end credits sequence wasn't needed. Bobby was wasted, Rashmika was great in some scenes (esp when RK discloses about Zoya). RK was 5-star but not a movie for me.

The problem is not that movie is titled ANIMAL or Ranbir Character is like that, the problem is the glorification of the character and justifying whatever he does under the garb of "Oh! My daddy is bestest!".
This is best movie ever. Bobby deol yes made us crave to watch more of him so wish he had longer duration. But ranbir, anil kapoor and Bobby combo was mind blowing.
