Having had a chance to finish watching, I stopped back in to say that grief has no timeline. You heal at the rate that that you do, with all the ups and downs and steps forward and back.

Oh Amy, l really appreciated how you opened up today and let us know how you are coping. You have been such a loving, caring and supportive daughter for so many years and it will take quite some time to find the new normal.
The napkins look wonderful and lm excited to see how you use it in your journal. I’m picking out a few to coat so they can dry overnight. The card looks lovely and how exciting that the words show through so well. Take care dear Amy and l do hope you had a wonderful time in the city and get out of the house more. Seeing your growing family will be such a treat. Enjoy 😊

Amy, give yourself some grace. Your life has changed in a profound way over this past year and it takes time to adjust. I went through that, too, after my mom died. And now, as a somewhat recent empty-nester, I'm still trying to learn to cook for just two people and cannot understand why something so simple evades me. Until I get it, we're eating lots of leftovers. Even good change is still change so take your time getting used to your new normal. ~ Lisa

I wonder if one could use mod podge or gel medium instead of water glue. It would create a waterproof protective layer. I love how you use your creativity to come up with craft solutions on a budget. This is such a neat hack and I am going to use it today for a project. You are a treasure!

I feel like you never actually get back to "normal". My husband and I were married a little over 33 years. He was taken from us 10 ears ago (this September) and I still sometime pick up my phone to send him a text about something important , something funny I saw or just ask his opinion in something. It does get a little easier day to day, but it is always there.
