Spiro: Needs to increase swapping stations ASAP. Gogo: Their bikes have multiple issues with it's wiring especially when it starts getting old. Zembo: The chain makes weird noise. Disclaimer: These are my opinions, extremely personal and based on research and facts.
@@electricvehiclesug256 I like the 1st 1 that was chainless, was completely silent, the downside of it was the battery range, it also has issues climbing a hill on heavy load.
As a daily office commuter I like the design of the spiro because its the one that doesn't look like its for boda boda. I think I'd love to own a spiro that's tailored for the working class, a bike I can take over the weekend for some adventures, ride a round town without being whistled at because they think I am a boda. good strides guys, the future is bright.
Am veryyyyy excited and optmistic of where our nation is flying to in terms of auto-tech advancements, it's really captivating to see these unfold, thank you big bro for capturing this story!
Spiro has a very nice ride experience, has a very powerful throttle! the only downside to all these electric bikes is swapping batteries, that charging arrangement is not well suited for someone who would want it for personal transportation rather than boda business since swap stations aren't well distributed
Those prices are for a regular electric bicycle over here😮... Not bad at all, I think. Also swapping for UGX10K seems like an okay price depending on how much gas costs to ride a gas powered motorcycle for about 100 miles.
I think the cost of maintaining an e-bike is lower coz they have fewer moving parts. As the battery technology improves bike with longer range 150+ km on a single charge beats petrol in terms of cost of power
❤, I appreciate this useful knowledge of the season, well done guys more profit sirs Please how can I benefit from this electronic motorcycle from NIGERIA and the cost of purchase!
As a person how rides an e-bike in china, this is something i have always wanted to see in Africa. Baby steps, as the battery technology improves superchargers will become more wide spread and cheaper
@@samallstar95 Quote me well, when the bike is not on loan or the loan has been completed or U bought it at cash, also the battery remains the property of the company hence not allowed to modify, other parts are ok
Problem is are you willing to take responsibility depending on the modification type if anything goes wrong cz am sure that tampers with your warranty.
@@komnallan9276 Haha, I appreciate your concern! But hey, as long as I paid for it, I’m ready to embrace my inner mad scientist! 😄 Let the warranty be warned!
I think unlike Spiro, other players aren’t taking safety serious. For a bike of these categories, they should have hydraulic brakes, which should be combined with disks. I think this will help reduce many accidents we face here in Kampala from unfinished bikes
Don't know much about them bikes but right off my mind I think that's for design purposes. I can't imagine how a bike would look without that "tank" feature. It can also be re-purposed into storage or something.
You are talking of central, Western and Eastern Uganda. Y do you neglect Northern region. Is there any hope for Northerners to get the same services ✨🤔💁🙈🙈
If it had the ability to charge it's self then would be good but giving you 60km to empty the battery is the worst mistake you did. Can not even reach kayabwe masaka road. You need to revise that.

What about Watu coz to me of all these guys it seemed like they have a better deal
The range and changing speeds are still subpar but they are making good strides. The future is bright
Yaa bodawerk aka go- go need more work. Their bikes look like prototypes, even some zembos
@@kigozistanley4965 I would advise U go for Spiro, it has a better shape, good battery range and promising to improve.

This channel is extremely informative. There is so much about the Ugandan motor market I've learnt here.
Thank you for appreciating
God bless Uganda from Rwanda
The spiro bike just looks cool AF💯💯
Good questioning skills man

Good job guys hope they open show rooms in neighbourhood in S Sudan and others
Good job. These are nice content
👏 Grat news Robert
This is a well done story...
Thanks for letting us to know about it
Nice bro.. really nice one.
Super. If a range is less than 150km, it's not sufficient. Home charge is a must.
Thanks for great content, UG Connect!
Very interesting, thank you for introducing us to this product.
Very informative for bike lovers like me. Thanks bro 👏🏾
I loved the way interview.
Love the music. And these bikes 🎉. UG to the moon.
With the increase of more companies investing in electric moto bikes, these prices will drastically go down.
Good Job boss 👏🙏

It would have been cool, if you had shared their websites in the description
Spiro looks cool of the three brands...waiting for the single sitter that i can take to office on a daily
What we need is a mobile charge adapter not charge stations. E.g look at ewaka bikes
@@spacer00 swap stations are for boda boda riders mostly, home charger is good but to a certain extent
CHINA MAKE THEM FOR THE GERMAN MANUFACTURER OF SPIRO @$80....THEY SELL EUROPE AND AFRICA @€237
At half the cost of the Bajaj Boxer, I would really consider one of these electric bikes.

What if I want to buy two batteries and no need to go to your swap station.
Nice
The good thing with these is that one may fail to steal them..also good to equip them with GPS truckings...
You understood what your subscribers what 😊😊😊😊
But the research in the battery thing should be extended because customers prefer durability close to petrol
Range anxiety extends from EV cars, the bikes have even worse range. Hopefully, as battery technology improves prices go down

🥰For me it’s watu 🥰
Wow
Spiro best design, if only they had a fueled engine.
Boss how many mechanics in Uganda can repair a spiro bike?
Spiro just opened a charging station in Jinja next to centenary bank
That EV bike you can manage properly😂😂
When are bringing this to Lira city Northern uganda?
Where are they located

It reach masala without charging?
But are they durable,nd are thy for only luxury or can do business as well
Dude, 120km on 10k is just crazy🤯
Can they accept customization?

If they could extend their battery swapping stations in Lira Northern uganda, i would be the first person to take it.
but this people why don't they use one type of battery where by u can swap from any station like Tesla charges you can charge an ev
Do you have motorbike that reach 300 km?
Uganda
I am not yet convinced that i can really trust an electric bike to upcountry and come back to Kampala with ease...anyone to elaborate more on this?

Electronic Tuktuk should be the next step

Can you make for women too?

So true.. they tend to forget that not many people want to own a bike that is also being used for boda
I wish the electric bikes are not dangerous like the indigenous ones😮😮

No noisy motorbikes anymore!

Were you just paid to put the BEST in the title or you actually own bikes for business and personal use hence determining this to be the best?
Lets me get this clear … for the Wato bikes. You pay 10,000 on every charge and on top of that you have to go to their location …. Bad business plan .

Spiro is masculine
If it's not a Spiro Veo or Neon..
It's not true electric experience
Zembo is just converted simba bike
