Thanks for explaining how to separate the plant and baby. How to wash off roots. How it needs to be taken care of. It was very easy to be able to follow. And not be like whoa waite she lost me. Lol.😊

Hello Addz that's for showing how to separate the plant into 2 I was always afraid of hurting the plant and/or possibly killing it . . have an awesome weekend ahead ❤
As long as you do it gently it should be okay! You have a good weekend also!
I also recently bought a gorgeous little Birkin with 6 (!!) babies. But as much as I tried, I could not separate them without destroying all the roots, so I guess I’ll be stuck with a little monster in a few months heh.

Thanks for this helpful vid! I bought myself one of these last year - and it's the first house plant I haven't killed!! Tonight I noticed it had two babies and since I have the world's worst black thumb, I had no idea what to do! Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Tomorrow I am going to have THREE houseplants. Does that make me a responsible adult now? :P

I found a Berkin at Lowe’s for 20 but clay pot it came in was most of the expense ...I assume bc mine is about the same size. Anyway I was ecstatic to find one bc it was the first one I’ve ever laid eyes on in person. Also I got my first peperomia obtusifolia in the same smaller sz pot as the berkin for 14 It was a great plant shopping day!

I got one from Home Depot about a week or two ago and now it has mold on the soil I’m trying to repot it cause I don’t want it to die
Can my philodendron birkin live in water for the rest of its life or do it have to live in soil?
It could survive in water!
