I managed to get this card and what Jay at 4:00 is so satisfying to me. My previous build had an ASUS Strix 970 ,which was considerably smaller than the XFX Merc 319 6800xt, and it had some noticeable GPU sag. Its really mindblowing seeing such a huge card in a case without a support bracket sit straight in a chassis.
idk why but whenever my cockatiel hears Jay talking, he starts whistling A LOT.
Cus hes also a bird. A parrot.
he must just love his voice :)

This card looks really great, I like the design and the aesthetics. I wonder how their 6900XT will perform.
Rdna2's biggest achievent might very well be, the best in class framepacing. They have halved that of nvidia.
1:57 is just another great Jay moment
I'm glad I watched this review when it came out. I managed to snag a Merc 319 this morning with no hesitation!
"These are the cards everyone is holding out for..." Actually we are holding out for ANY card that can do a decent job at MSFS2020 to be in stock anywhere.

MSFS2020 is CPU bound due to its simulations. You first need a fast CPU before a fast GPU in that game.
@@UltimateAlgorithm I built my PC with significant CPU, RAM, SSD, etc. specs. But the GPU not as much due to costs & timing. I was accumulating parts for my build in anticipation of my former PC end of life, and was pushed to finish due to that PC failure. Had to buy whatever I could find and afford with the GPU. In my case it really is GPU limitations.

“What temperature is liquid mercury?” Room temperature, Jay. Room temperature.
I just bought a Radeon 6900 xt graphics card a few days ago. I lik AMD graphics cards a lot better than Intel or Nvidia because AMD graphics cards have no issues with communicating with 4K smart televisions. It's so awesome that I can now use my 4k smart television as a computer monitor.

XFX: My time has finally come, my patience and suffering is finally starting to pay off......
XFX has had hard time from the beginning. XFX was actually Nvidia's AIB-partner untill 2008. When XFX started make AMD-cards too, Nvidia banned XFX and stopped the partnership. That was another pathethic move from Nvidia, ''play with us not AMD or you are done with us''. Nvidia is one of the most harsh capitalist companies there is.
Looks like the only AMD AIB who learned from his past mistakes. (Yes I'm looking at you Asus)
@@ploed True. XFX has improved a lot. Asus is a joke with AMD. when was a last series of AMD-cards, where Asus nailed all the models? Sapphire is best AMD-AIB btw. Don't remember any fuck ups, and they usually have 5/5 coolers, and still decent prices. Asus Strix has usually great coolers, but prices are way too much.
@@yesnoyeswait4306 yeah sapphire makes really good ones, never heard a issue with them. Compared to my Asus Strix Vega 64 with shitty QC. The XFX looks in my opinion really good.
It's a bit funny with the naming conventions going full circle, had a XFX 6800 GT back then and now there is a XFX 6800 XT from AMD.
"What's the temperature of liquid mercury?" ....Ummm, mercury is liquid at room temperature, not 319 degrees LOL
Yeah, I was like, “Ten year olds know this.”
Ain't Kelvin also a thing?
"It's like voodoo" I had a Voodoo 3 thanks for the nostalgia!
Voodoo 2 SLI #justoldgamerthings 😂
I chose a 3Dfx Voodoo 3 over a Riva TNT for my first build. You know those new-fangled brands never make it...
Nostalgia indeed. The graphics card in my first Windows machine was a Voodoo 3 3500. I think I used the TV tuner once, maybe twice.

Managed to get my AMD rx 6800 reference. It is an absolute beast.

Just so you people realise. I pushed my card to 2600mhz clock, and it ran just fine. The overclocking headroom is mental.
