Love your ride along videos, love this channel. You guys are so honest and upfront with everything. You never see these imperfections in the ride alongs. Its appreciated by any buyers im sure your transparency.
Love the 66 Impala. This is in a very popular color combo and powertrain combo. I had a 66 ChevyII wagon that was this color and a 4-speed on the floor but the engine was a 283. This sold quickly for a reason. Maple Motors is an honest dealer and people who complain about the price of the cars are just showing their ignorance about their knowledge of classic car pricing. If anything their prices are lower than what they should be. That NAPCO 4X4 Chevrolet they had was an honest to goodness clean truck that was 100% original and they were asking at the minimum 30k less than they should of. There's a reason they've been in business for over 40 years and have so many repeat customers people. I mean come on.
I also had one. Dark Green, black vinyl roof and interior, 327 4-spd. Great car! Couldn't help but notice...my SS had a center console with the huge manifold vacuum gauge. I thought all SS's had that.
When I was 4 and 5 in the late 60s in Sidney Ohio my dad had a factory green 1966 Biscayne 4 speed , 4 door , 427/425hp. He traded it in for a 1966 white woody Caprice wagon 396/??hp before we moved to Lancaster Ohio about 1970. My 80 year old uncle still in Port Jefferson Ohio had 57 Chevys and a new 1969 Nova SS 396/375hp 4 speed dark green and my other uncle had a 1962 Honduras maroon 327/340hp Corvette which he still has at 83. They both say dads Biscayne was a beast. I've seen a number of videos saying that Biscayne was perhaps the best all time fastest sleeper cars. Dave Phillips oddly enough of Lancaster Ohio ran a 12.25 at the Muscle Car Nationals factory drags in Milan Mich. in the mid 80s with his 1966 427/425 4 door 4 speed Biscayne. If dads car was still around and in the same shape I would've traded my 1970 Stage 1 Buick 4 speed, my 1968 GTS 383 4 speed and my 1972 455 Formula Firebird automatic for it IF only I still had those. In the last 5 years I've had 4 different Challenger Shakers. New 2019 Sublime 392 auto, new 2021 Indigo blue 392 manual, 2019 Sublime 345 auto and 2023 Sublime 345 manual. I miss the old cars.
This car does have more loose ends to tie up than normal But My opinion , for someone who enjoys and is involved working on cars, you could put probably another 15,000 or $20,000 in this car and you would have a $70-$80,000! It is a true SS impala
I’m not saying it won’t sell fast but I’m 56 and it’s inconceivable to me to pay $27,000, which 15 years ago was a $10,000 car. The likes of Barrett Jackson have made me these mediocre cars ridiculously priced.
Would it be too much to ask to have you touch a magnet to the known problem areas on your vehicles ? After buying a beautiful barrel of bondo on wheels from a local seller I’m extra cautious.
Vintage car prices increase with age and lower supply, so why everyone complaining about the price like there's a 66 impala for sale on every block in every city. With 27k, you can buy this or a new piece of crap off the lot or overpay for a used late model vehicle
@TimRogers-ir6ss I don't have 27k laying around but that doesn’t determine how much something is worth. A $2 cheeseburger maybe affordable for some and too expensive for others, worth or value is all about perspective.
Looks like Tim's trying to mess with you, ha ha, You're right, that car is shabby and is not worth 27, I'll bet it's not #'s matching and possibly not an SS either.
@markstoll5881 i would expect a fully restored 66 Malibu to go for $40k. Every video that MM drops has people in the comments complaining about prices and yet they still sell. 27k today is different from 20 yrs ago
Your not 60 something,. who's going to die before it does!, Has money to spend. Always loved this year.. Better then a 60 thousand dollars for A "head turner" for others to look at.and worry too?
Чому я не народився в США. Дивишся на такі автомобілі і жалієш, що не живеш в Америці. Гарне авто, просто мрія для чоловіка який любить американські автомобілі.
Lol yeah getting more subs but some don’t seem to like the prices. I know we priced it under market because of the amount of people who were in line to buy it. I wish I had 5 more atm
That thing is Wet with Fluids under Underneath. Leaking Gaskets what about the Brakes? Are they Updated disc? That gas tank looks original along with control arms. It’s a money Pit for $27,000😝
With being an original SS 4 speed if the paint was flawless, chrome trim on the bottom and seals all replaced this car would bring $50k-$60k. I'd rather have a few paint flaws then a trailer queen though,
Seems to be an increasing number of “bystanders “(probably not serious potential customers) in your videos over time as MM has grown online. May want to consider creating some “recording in progress” signs and putting them around the vehicle while you’re filming. What’s likely happened is word has gotten out in the greater northern Nashville metro area about your detailed walk-thrus and some 🤡 have nothing better to do than come in and crash your work. I see why you film down at the church. Pretty soon they’ll be waiting for you down there too. 🙄
Pricing is determined by the market i.e. what people are willing to pay. If you really only buy things according to what you think they are worth, good luck buying your next home.

When I was in college bought one from my uncle for $200. 283 powerglide (lol). Added duals and glass packs and sounded like that.
Damn, that’s a beautiful car for 59 years old you won’t have it long❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wish I would have never sold my white 66 SS damn I miss that car😮😮❤❤❤
The impalas, chevelle/malibus and nova's from this time equipped with SBC and 4-speed where the ultimate teen cars.
My old high school car, had rocket 5 spoke 15 x8 ployglas Ft tires, coolest car in the parking lot !
Had one same color mine was a 396 automatic great car wish I still had it!😢
I also had one. Dark Green, black vinyl roof and interior, 327 4-spd. Great car! Couldn't help but notice...my SS had a center console with the huge manifold vacuum gauge. I thought all SS's had that.
Once someone pulls that glass you’re gonna see a world of trouble. This car is almost un repairable
My girlfriend's older brother got one of these around 84. It was mint condition with a 454 i think ❤️🔥
Nice. This One is a Rust Bucket. Northeast Beast my Guess.
Had one of them cars when i was 24 years old,had 396 in it automactic

Oh my I love that car. I once had one just like it😢. T o bad it's a rust bucket 😢
Someone had some planes for this 66 Impala SS and it makes me think, that she will be a great ride and that's way she sold so fast.
Hey Nick, when I pick them, they don't stay around long!! Hard to beat a howitzer with windshield wipers!!! Fun mosheen
1965, 1966 look great for the Impala. I don't think it's worth the asking price, but a decent car.

People should have more respect for you. They obviously see you are filming 🎥. You do seem to take it all in stride. Thanks for your hard work.
Aw man ! You should've took Papaw for a ride . I bet he'd enjoyed it
Coming out of high school in ‘74 my buddy had the exact same car in the same color.
🏆Awesome😎 always reminds me of Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry🍀✌️
Dingle Berry
Great vehicle, Nick. Look for chips, dents, rust & scratches at the end.
I see why it sold so fast!!~ Great stuff Nick!!~
Thanks!
What a beautiful car. Thanks for sharing. DMCL all the way, lol.
Dam the small block looks lost in the engine bay 😂😂
SS had a 396 not a 350.

My homeboy ricky from madera had a 66 with a 396 - 4 speed, canary yellow in color, it was nice

I have a 1966 Chevy Impala and I have close to 85K on it it's a lowrider that's right
This would be a fun driver with that 4 speed. Someone will be getting a cool car.
Would it be too much to ask to have you touch a magnet to the known problem areas on your vehicles ? After buying a beautiful barrel of bondo on wheels from a local seller I’m extra cautious.
my dad had a 66 regular impala that color. 3 speed on tree with 327
My older bro had a chevy Biscayne 327 3 on the tree.
Watching From London Ky my aunt bought a 1966 chevy impala new back in the days

What Do You know. Are You a Real Car Person. or just somebody Who likes to Throw your Money Around.?

Your Nuts. Whoever bought it better know a Mechanic or be One.😂
It's simply un America to not like this one! 💯👌
There is no way I would spend $27.000 for that car.
It’s Quarter Panels are replaced saw the Rivets lots O Bondo. I’d offer him 12, 500.
@ and your number is probably in the right ballpark
🤣✌️already sold
12,500 smh you can’t get one for that but good luck
Your not 60 something,. who's going to die before it does!,
Has money to spend. Always loved this year..

Чому я не народився в США. Дивишся на такі автомобілі і жалієш, що не живеш в Америці. Гарне авто, просто мрія для чоловіка який любить американські автомобілі.
Y'all should have a section of cars in the back called the backlot specials once we cannot show out front
Lol there really is nothing back there , we push out all the inventory we have every week
Id love to know if you got full asking price. This car needs a ton of work. Good job on only jiggering the gear shift twice.
Yes it sold in the first 24 hours after posting
What happened to the console? My '66 Impala SS would put this one to shame.
Somebody’s first hot rod. Live and Learn.
That car is not no where near 27$. It looks around maybe 15
Nice looking ride
Nice car I had a 69 ss impala four speed years ago
People's comments and replies are getting spicy. I like it
Lol yeah getting more subs but some don’t seem to like the prices. I know we priced it under market because of the amount of people who were in line to buy it. I wish I had 5 more atm
You have a fun job.
Nice car
This car's a deal at $27k. 8:16 - A lot more rear suspension mods than I was expecting with a 12 bolt, coil overs and a pan hard bar.
DAMN I love that song in the intro
Thanks
Back when this was new you could have bought 9 of these for that much money!
Beautiful car🔥🔥🔥🔥💪💪👍💯
Old school Cherry Bombs. Haven’t seen them in years.
That thing is Wet with Fluids under Underneath. Leaking Gaskets what about the Brakes? Are they Updated disc? That gas tank looks original along with control arms. It’s a money Pit for $27,000😝
Hi Nick, are we going to get a video on the cutlass in background?
Good looking Impala
Ive had a few of these, and currently a 66 Caprice. While many of your cars are a value. This one is over priced.
Very nice!
Seems pretty high priced for the paint
it's not, we do our research and thats why it's gonna sell so fast. Thanks
How much do they want?
It's rough...looks like a lot hidden with paint and trim...
What is the asking price? Please.
$27k@@michaelleemeredith5917
With being an original SS 4 speed if the paint was flawless, chrome trim on the bottom and seals all replaced this car would bring $50k-$60k. I'd rather have a few paint flaws then a trailer queen though,
Clean!
Did you ever get rid of that raggedy Grand national the vice grips hood release
That one sold in about an hour
Daily driver
Why post it if it is sold!
It wasn’t when I posted it and I already did the work for video. Shows previous inventory, you don’t have to watch it. Thats why I put sold on it
Favorite yr

They are down there every day lol
I wonder if that has the 327 HP.?
300-350?
@@michaelleemeredith5917 one has 275 HP and the other has 350hp .!!
So how much do you really want for that 12k dollar car.

Well it sold for asking price as soon as it was posted. We must be crazy tho smh 🤣12k won’t get you a classic of this caliber anymore. Good luck
