Awesome to see there's some community around this model, I have a 2001 and it's entirely enjoyable, this turned out beautifully, you did a fantastic job
Thanks a lot. I love MB as a brand but especially appreciate older models like 124, 126, 210, 219, etc. At the moment I have R171 as my daily driver, a very fun car to drive
Very interesting to see the wrap process. The results are very nice without all of the spray booth work. The nice thing is you can do this at home with just patients and attention to detail.
Haha, I know, brother! Removing that bolt is such a pain! I used a small open-end wrench and slowly worked it out. It took a while and really challenged my patience!
I may be buying one of these with the AMG badging for 1k it's an 2002, and its the same burgundy red as the bumper you put on yours. I really want it white and black so i may repaint it or wrap it.
How are these as a daily driver? Don't want to break the bank owning one. Where I live these still cost a pretty penny specially if you want a convertible or one with sunroof etc. Is it good value or should I just go with a CVIC X
This particular vehicle has been driven 40,000 miles since the video and has only had one issue: the starter replacement. Other than that, the car is being driven daily with no issues. The key is the initial condition of the vehicle. If it was beaten daily by the former owner, then there is a high possibility that the car will be problematic. Otherwise, W208s with 4.3 engines are known for their good reliability
@ikajeiOFFICIAL thanks that says allot! I am looking at a w208 1997, I believe it's a 240 hard top, no sunroof. 122k kms on the meter, well kept. Owner is asking a pretty penny. No experience with mercs so not sure what to check for
This is crazy because i crashed my blue 01’ 430 the same way this car got hit i thought this was my old car and i crashed it a month before this upload only difference is i had black interior
What’s the height of the front lip ? Bc my CLK has lowering springs that’s why I don’t want it to be touching the ground 24/7 if it is like 40 mm in height Edit : I have 40 mm lowering springs on from H&R
You know, I don’t wanna be this guy. Nowhere near having the accessibility that you have yet probably gonna be another 10 to 15 years before I restore my car. I hate when you guys do this to Beautiful Mercedes. It’s not a rice burner dude. And you may think that all of these modifications and these ground kits are doing justice, but really it’s putting stress on the car and it’s gonna fall apart because it wasn’t made to look like that.

@@ikajeiOFFICIAL I'm new to the euro scene but the older Mercedes do seem lovely to drive
These cars are still beautiful even among modern cars.
Agree 100% 👍

Nice great build!
Great job man, kudos from Ireland. Had a 2000 clk 200, loved it and it broke my heart! Will be getting another one though!
Crazy clean build, I might need to wrap mine
Aw, you bossed it up! Good job. Im looking at one now..
Looks awesome! Just pulled one out of field
Such a nice car, I own the 230 kompressor version of this car and this video is perfect to imagine how I want it to look like in the future
Very nice. I just like it better in black. Great job with everything, though.
Looks really good!
Thanks for the video! It will come in handy as I'm going from silver to a darker tone of gray. Keep it up!
Amazing car i have the Same in black and Work on it
I have a 2002. this is amazing bro
What did you use to get the fender bolt off that's behind the door at the bottom?? When you open the door there's no room to get to that bolt !?!
Haha, I know, brother! Removing that bolt is such a pain! I used a small open-end wrench and slowly worked it out. It took a while and really challenged my patience!

I ordered the front lip from Germany, it is not available in U.S. The side skirts are OE AMG side skirts.

I’m looking to get a front bumper for this car in Canada. Does anyone have a recommendation of where I can get one for a good price?
How much did it go for usd I'm flipping mine too and it's in similar condition
I am also restoring my clk430. How much wrap in foot did you need ?
Around 70'
What bumper is that ? And how did you make it fit , looks like a 320 bumper .
That bumper looks alot more sport than the stock 430 they had on there
You are correct. It is a 320 bumper with an added front lip splitter. The original bumper that was on the car originally is 430 AMG package bumper
Thanks for answering , does it fit right on or did you have to modify it alot
Im thinking of installing one of those bumpers myself
@unkown1113 the 320 bumper is a direct fit. No modifications are needed
Nice thank you for the info
18" or 19" Wheels?
What size wheels and tires do You have ?
Both, front and rear rims are 17" I forgot how many J's but I know for sure that the rims are staggered. Tires front 225/45 rear 245/40
What brand is your front lip?!

Where you buy the shocks ?
Check the description under the video. The second link is for the springs
Where did you find that front lip for the bumper?
Chech the link in the description under the video. I have links for lowering springs and front lip there
What color wrap is that ? And what kind is it ?
VViViD+ Gloss Slate Grey (Grigio Telesto)
your wife and kids are so curious haha

Talk about Clickbait how come the main picture looks like a Honda with a drop kit on it?
I respect the work 👍🏾. That color is ugly though
Don’t hold back buddy 🙂🙂
