    The evac giving extra time if it is on a different port it's a blessing
    I remenber holding on evac during a zombie round only for the shuttle to arrive on arrivals which was all the way on the other side of the station and by the everyone got there with the chaos and zombies, the shuttle left with only an enginner that was in space and a passeger who just arrived

      I think it gives extra time when it can't dock at all, not when it can't dock at evac. So if it docks at cargo, it's still 180 seconds (or whatever it is set on your server)

      @@noelka8134 I thought the PR specified that it gives a little more time if it finds another dock, and a lot more time if it doesn't find one at all.
      Edit: Yes, from the PR: "The default values (controlled via CVar) are 1.667x and 2x respectively for "wrong dock" and "no dock at all" scenarios." So the evac will wait 5 minutes if it docks elsewhere, and 6 minutes if it's in space.

    Dear god the botany thing seems AMAZING for supplying chef. I know it's possible to breed wheat that gives a lot of flour but it's just a massive pain in the ass. Eggs are also really annoying.

      Funnily enough both of your issues have the same solution.
      Tower caps have 5 produce and no reagents, which means it doesn't replace reagents on crossbreed, so you can robust a tower cap and crossbreed it with egg-plant, the increased health bonus will result in a lot of rapid harvests of full size eggs in batches of 5, it also ups the lifespan, you can easily get a hundred eggs from one lifecycle of an egg-plant. It's also effective for monoreagent medicine plants like galaxy thistle.
      Things get a bit weirder when the target plant has multiple reagents, as if it modifies the reagents it picks one to be the only reagent.
      This does make it an easier way to make high yield wheat that has no nutrients whatsoever, or at a 50% chance make pure nutri wheat.
      Only awkward part is you may need to use your hatchet to harvest.

      @@andrewgreeb916 I'm gonna be honest, despite probably 20-25 botany shifts I still don't completely know how exactly the mutation and reagent stuff works despite a basic understanding. It's just so finicky and unclear with the qtip stuff. I honestly think the thing Botany really needs is a plant analyzer machine, and maybe a researchable handheld one you can use on the plants themselves, that will tell you their genes and what they produce etc, maybe even let you copy them consistently.

      @@Fantasticanations a plant analyzer would be nice.
      The main issue with botany is all optimisations excluding robust harvest are literal gambling.
      Take mutation for instance, if you dump 5u of mutagen in, the plant will roll 5 mutations, you have little ability to guarantee mutations.
      Every time you swab a plant it rolls a collection of traits that the swab has, and will transfer to the other plant, ranging from yield, potency, lifespan, nutrient and water consumption, reagents, and mutant properties.
      I've had rounds where I apply all the correct fundamentals of botany to my plants when swabbing and mutating and I simply get bad rolls. It happens, botany is a gambling game, not all rolls are winners, so sometimes you have to prepare to run multiple iterations, sometimes your mutation attempts just don't pay out.
      With persistence you should get results.

    I’m very glad for that dragon update cause the first time I played as dragon I spawned in the middle of the bar and started to get meleed by the entire crew and the already previously armed security team

    The space dragon on space is a good chance, last time i was atmos i was the only one making freezon and knew how to, but before we could sell anything a dragon spawns on atmos, kills me and only me then gets robusted by a single hos. My body was later left in an unstaffed medical department to rot since evac arrived.

      Last dragon I saw spawn in a small room behind glass, called it out quickly. It was during war ops so every crew had a gun. It probably lasted 30 seconds.

    The holy melon looks cool, but seems very underwhelming. It's not discount omnizine as much as it's discount Tricordrazine, what medbots dispense infinitely.
    Trico heals 1 Brute, 0.5 Poison, and .33 Heat/Shock/Cold.
    Holy Water heals 0.2 Blunt/Heat/Shock/Cold.
    They *both* only work when you have at most 50 damage. Omnizine can help you stabilize someone nearly dead, while the 50 damage cutoff is more of a finishing touch heal, or for people who werent that injured to begin with.
    The only real benefit i can think of is that you can get it without leaving Botany, letting you heal minor injuries without leaving your sacred department.

      Holy water is the other way, it works when you have MORE than 50 damage, unless they changed it

      @@DeadlyNightshadeZ If it worked like that, it's changed. Trico and Holy Water both say "when it has at most 50 damage."
      Tried looking at the github history, and the author said a year ago "that could totally happen but its still weaker than tricord" when someone pointed out doctors would start asking for holy water.

    I hope the biomass gen is a round-start thing.

      Ergo, botany makes kobolds. Put several kobold cubes in chapel, dump out water in the middle and let the children free.

      @@TheTlank oh I knew there weren't gonna be walls and pheromones either way. I do think it would be fun if wizden incorporated some of the RMC mechanics for xenos, but the codebases are *very* different. It wouldn't be simple.

      The biomass reclaimer can already reclaim botanical biomass. So even if you can't, you can still turn excess produce to biomass
