I once had to gib the detective. so i linked all the c4 from the bundle into the bag and called them to my department in cargo. " I found this outside in a corner." They grabbed it and went oh fuck thanks. I said " Your welcome" then detonated the c4 and to my dismay it didnt gib.
tip: if you are a syndicate agent and you really hate someone or got a pen bomb from a surplus and dont want it, give it to someone and whisper ¨e-dagger¨ and walk off. did this once to a mime and they tried turning on their ¨e-dagger¨ to fight a ninja, they ended up critting themselves and the ninja.
I only indirectly mentioned it in the video, but explosive resistance is the only thing that reduced explosive damage. Doesn't matter how resistant the armor is to blunt, it is based off explosive resist. Minibomb tactics: ua-cam.com/video/41LD71CUlkg/v-deo.htmlsi=ZEN91-NLfbczhj_g
@@crackedemerald4930explosion damage translates to blunt when it is added to a persons damage stats, but is treated specifically as “explosion damage” when resistances are factored in.
I imagine the minibomb and other grenades will gain some more power once delimbing becomes a thing, since even if some wont kill I remember some SS13 rounds where I'd get crippled for a while and die due to slowness as a result.
The pen is such a fun explosive. It doesn't have the highest success rate with me but it's very funny to be playing as a lawyer or whoever and try to get someone alone to sign a paper, and then just run away while their reading the document.
To be honest, I don't really like the round removal meta in ss14 compared to ss13. Even worse then servers like goonstation where 80% of antag abilities that gib someone dont spawn a brain. Wish there was brain transplants to fix rotting and gibbing, especially since stuff like ashing and brain eating exist anyways for really dedicated antags.
@@Liltenhead I was thinking about this and it seems kind of weird that you can just melee someone into a gib. In SS13 it takes a lot more effort to perma round remove, and northstar gloves don’t give you infinite perma round end potential. Just an interesting discrepancy between SS13 and SS14.
With enough raw materials and a medical techfab, this too is possible to treat. I have been one of the four doctors standing around someone repeatedly applying ointment while occasionally making runs for more. But yes, Aloxadone is much better.
@@Eagle0600 Luckily meshes/cream does not care about chems so bar is much lower for botanists in that case, they only need to plant it and chemist will get loads off healling of each one.
@@thebadman6169 Aloe cream is just reskinned ointment. It's fine, but we can make that in the techfab with less effort (as long as logistics is listening); of course, if you can get it to us in bulk that's always going to be appreciated when the dead burn victims come in. Regenerative mesh, of course, is very nice, as is aloe for aloxadone.
Very helpful, at round-end as a syndie who's only job was to help one other agent and then die a glorious death, i was very desperate to find some RP reason to kill myself, as my accomplice and other syndies did not need any help, and this was on the round where the AI had been made evil by admins and a team of CC interns had been sent in, so I did a whole thing trying to blow me and the AI up, with the idea being that the AI would stay standing and my guts would be all over but the CMO was also there and kept saving me because the C4 wouldn't gib me lol like three minibombs would've probably done it
useful to know I can likely survive em by being 3 tiles away lol. You have no idea how many times I've had random bombs blow up in my face as a medic.....people stuff crit patients pockets with bombs and trigger them right before we defib or the defib will detonate them and it's just terrible. I'm almost always right at the center of those everytime too....Sadly the science front is typically not doing robotic stuff so no one is ever borged after being gibbed when I'm playing usually....such a shame they can bring so many back with that and just don't. It's super easy to make a borg lol. And when your entire med team is killed because a bomb blew them up, you are better off cranking out some borgs to bring them back as mediborgs to at least be able to help. But yeah I reckon at that point all hell has broken loose and the station is either lost or people are on the way to evac. Us medics get the short straw all the time! I want to see a self revive syrum lol, one that will revive you temporarily but you'll die-die afterwards skipping crit stage. That way if it's just two people gives you a chance to patch the other person up before you die so they can then revive you. Sorta like a final breath type thing. Could be fun to have. Imagine a nukie rushing the middle of a group and detonating a light bomb that crits everyone there and themselves but they have that syrum and get back up to detonate a second bomb they hid nearby. That'd be crazy too.
there is recipes you can make that is minibomb but better and you can make them with regular chems and two large beaker, lilten either doesn t know or didin t wanted to mention since they kinda sorta broken
Yes but even if you slip a minibomb, it was said in the video Minibombs can’t be linked to a remote trigger on their own. Although, and don’t quote me on this I don’t know if it works, if it’s in your hands, you may be able to activate the minibomb timer RIGHT BEFORE you complete the reverse pickpocket, I don’t know if activating an item interrupts the do-bar.
5:33 im... confused, i stopped doing this becuse multiple explosions just make the explosion bigger now, i tried doing that after the change but poeple only went into crit, no explosion resist and standing the in the center tile, anyway this is gona get nerfed now so no point complaining
That's what I'm showing, that stacking minibombs doesn't make it better for gibbing necessarily. Sorry that it was a bit unclear what the point of showing that was, I can see that it somewhat makes it look like it multiplies the damage.

I think I was in this game, because in an end round lobby people talked about that exact thing happening.
it might be due to the syndicate bag 90% explosive resistance.
Nevermind, tested it, same blast.
The signal transmitter has a limited range. You should have stood by me.
it's cause they kinda nerfed explosive damage so now you get less return on explosive damage the more you detnotate at once but you get more range
Ah yes, debug mouse, the best round removal entity in the game.
Mickey Mouse is evil

The mouse just eating your earlier victims is so SS14... I just can't... 🤣
always eat the brain so they cant borg
when tons of burn damage builds up on someone medbay will often just shelve them at the morgue instead of bothering

Do you have a video on flying shuttles? Ive recently started working through supply and more specifically salvage but not really sure how to fly.

Wasd to move the shuttle, Q and E to rotate it, have fun
some servers actually feature if you drop or put down item it makes same sound like you threw it , also when you open and close toolboxes
I dont know everything but i belived iv gibbed with the sci saw in robotics vend
on my way to give HoS that "weird ahh syndie bag I found in maints" (it's a bomb trap)

If chemists want to, they can gib people with mouses. IEM gang rise up.
I need to know how
I need to know too
can you sneak a bomb into someones pocket or a slime's storage if you have the cool gloves?
Yes!
Yep, just be sure to arm it right before you finish putting it in their pocket.

Cool
gib is pronounced "jib" as in giblets.
You probably pronounce gif like "jif" you monster.
