When you first enter the depths, their is a journal entry that says that Turo got a white volume off of a child at a lake, so He did in fact time travel.

3:30 This really puts things into perspective. I just realized that Paradox-wise, Turo actually perished protecting Miraidon because we told him it was a very precious partner. And AI Turo was aware of this, having the original’s memories they were aware that Main Character was the chosen one for stopping the Time Machine. It is even possible that this encounter led Turo to constructing the Machine in the first place, since he was just doing research on Tera Energy until now. Just a very brief scene can give so much closure, it’s amazing. Edit: Even Miraidon’s name is a Paradox coming from MC, because he calls it Iron Serpent, not knowing his name until now.
Only thing that makes it weird is that Turo/Sada no longer have the Scarlet/Violet book in their possession anymore. He/she even says that they’ll “go home” to take the time to read it. Did we create an alternate timeline by doing this interaction?
This interaction is referenced in the professor's journal at the very bottom of Area Zero: "While investigating the hidden treasure, I found myself suddenly transported to a great height, near a lake that smelled of sulfur. Based on temperature and humidity, I believe it to have been the eastern lands I've read about before. And there, a child gave me a white volume"
@@CaliburXL99 No, we've had that confirmed since days of Delta Episode of Emerald. The scientists' plan before Zinnia interfered was to throw the meteor into a different reality.
This is what happened to Professors Sada (Scarlet) and Turo (Violet) before the terrible accident, how they died, replaced by AI version of themselves, both worlds 🌎🌍, the Past and Future meet the Present
@@paulsander5579Yeah, this is a Prof. from a different past that deviated from ours. Ours was given the White book but never gave the Violet book away.
@@paulsander5579 They also mentioned looking into alternative timelines for the Paradoxes rather than their own. This implies that the Paradoxes are from our native timeline.
It’s heartbreaking seeing miraidon’s reaction here. It was overjoyed to see its dear professor back from the dead, whom died protecting it. And when Tito was disappearing Miraidon was devastated, calling for him, knowing it will probably never see him again.
I stumbled upon this cutscene by complete accident, I was just trying to finish the kitakami dex, came to Crystal Pool and it triggered. I was honestly mind blown to see the real Professor Turo
Turo gives you the Violet Book he wrote at the end of this scene. Turo used this book for his time machine, but now that he is without it he will either be unable to use it again or will have to make a new one, meaning that in his timeline Turo may now be unable to cause any incidents with Paradox Pokémon and could survive the Iron Serpent fight he died in.
@@themeerkat8102 Maybe. He does say "my copy of the Violet Book", but that could also mean it's the version of it that he created himself and used for the machine.
I'd like to think that the violet book we got is just a copy turo brought just before he left to area zero and that he just quickly scribbled his name on it. while the violet book arven has is turo childhood violet book and that he left it behind because it was a treasured belonging. it could also be tied back to arven with it symbolising turo leaving behind his greatest treasures when he went down to area zero.
When people say that this sealed the professor's fate... but then forget... Where did the Violet/Scarlet Book, that supposedly powers the machine in our timeline go? The one Turo/Sada gives the player in this cutscene is the exact same one given by the AI (it actually is, they have the same description) it would not just magically appear again to use as a key to power the professor's time machine. (and they would probably have also mentioned that bit of info in their research notes too) This is why this cutscene could be considered a true paradox if there was only one timeline, as the book should be gone before you get it during your first visit in Area Zero, yet the professor gave it to you at a time before their death too, and really can only be explained out of, as some people have suggested, this being another professor from another timeline, which the player character may have actually altered their future and could have possibly saved them just by this exchange. (and maybe even give them more time to spend with their own Arven) Quite the butterfly effect. (the only other explanation, would be that the professor "got" another book since it was a mass produced book, although sounds like it was hard to get at their point in time and then *claimed* that it is from their childhood... but honestly why would they lie about that?)
If you go back to the area zero undergrowths and interact with turo/sadas documents. One of them simply being titled “a journal entry”. If you choose to read this, it describes the events seen in this video.
@@ggblister While true, that still does not explain the Violet/Scarlet book that suddenly appears again and used as a key for the time machine. (and it can't be a copy, the professor literally says the book is something they were very attached too) Even if it "sounds" like that isn't a big deal, taking something that was *required* to stop the time machine is a rather big consequence that would affect something.
The fact we now posess the violet book key means that Turo is from another timeline separate to our own. Our Turo met another version of us, or someone else at the pools and got the white book from them but didn't give his book in return. Maybe this Turo/Sada did go home to read and some things changed for the better.
What would've been cool is if that conversation with Turo/Sada changed the projectoy of their future, and urged them to make decisions that kept them alive, rather than them making the wreckless mistake of getting in a fight between two Paradox pokemon. Tbh that would make the most sense, but the sparkling pool could also just create an illusion. What if this was just an illusion and the player weren't actually linked to Turo/Sada? Idek, but yeah thats my take on this.
This makes perfect sense. If trading the Violet Book with the Hidden Treasures book, this could potentially change the projectory of Turo/Sada's fate in the past. But however, if that happen, then future us won't be able to meet the legendary, Briar wouldn't be making that book, and all of the events in the main game and DLC would alter. This is what we call a "Paradox".
There's just one problem with that: it wouldn't change anything for our professor or Arven. This is a Turo from another timeline, meaning only his timeline would be affected, not this one.
@@nobblkpraetorian5623yeah but he wasn’t having much success on his own. It’s likely this meeting gave him the insights to go further and make that goal a possibility for him.
Man I thought we actually might've altered Sada/Turo's fates, until I went down the Elevator to read their notes... Sad as well, but cool how the game with Paradox Pokemon has a story that started thanks to a Paradox. Kinda want a third part of the DLC now, mainly so we can see the surviving professor.
there is a possibility we altered another universe's Sada/Turo's fate. If they gave us their version of the scarlet/violet book they won't be able to use the time machine. it could be that another version of the player character gave our timeline's Sada/Turo the white book that was documented in their notes.
i LOVE the detail that miraidon/koraidon starts the conversation elated to see the professor (WHO LITERALLY SAVED ITS LIFE) again but grows sadder and sadder the longer you talk, realising turo/sada don't recognise it :(
This MAJORLY hints a third DLC, we now have the original Turo/Sada Violet/Scarlet Book, we can reactivate the Time Machine, and Heaths Phantom Memory where he met Terapagos was just like this, either in this same spot, or somewhere similar, and in the sketch it was the Stellar Form of Terapagos, and Heath had a page of notes where he didn’t know where it came from, so we could have hime travel forward in time to us and either show him how to make the equations or tear out the page, which would make it a Bootstrap Paradox, where there is no beginning or end. We may even in this hypothetical third DLC, we may be able to go to a area in the Future or the Past with more Paradox Pokémon, because it now been confirmed that Terapagos has time travel powers and not dream powers, because we just brought the real Turo/Sada to us, and we know this isn’t a illusion because in the journal entry at the Area Zero Under-depths entrance we hear the professor write about being transported to Kitakami and meeting us and keeping the book which they describe as a white volume, and the book we give is a white book.
I HOPE ITS TRUE PLZ 3RD DLC want more new areas to Paldea and even going back to Kalos as post game (since it’s literally near Kalos) so much stuff and they can finish off the missing Pokémon’s by adding in the national dex 😭
Well we already have data pointing to some sort of event involving pecharunt thats not just a distribution event but an actual story driven one. I hope we get one more dlc, too many questions.
MC casually creating a timeloop and not even bothering to try and warn the professor so they don't die is funny. Also considering how Heath saw Terapagos at some point maybe this is how he saw the paradoxes. He timetravelled to the present where the paradoxes were and documented them then years later the professor sees them in a book and brings them to the present which causes Heath to see them due to timetravel etc. Creating a time paradox. The only problem is that they look slightly different in the book thought that could be because of the mist or because he saw an alternative timeline like the professor mentions.
Mc probably dislikes the prof considering what they put their friend “arven” and co through And how the ai version was literally a kinder person compared to them idk
So not only does this confirm that the time machine ACTUALLY pulls the Paradox Pokemon from different times, but it also shows that we're responsible for these events entirely. You can see dead people at this lake because it's actually the crystals/Terapagos time traveling people here for a limited moment. Terapagos and the crystals are basically Celebi + Deoxys, and us giving Turo Briar's book and telling him about the AI basically sets the base game's events in motion. WE created the paradox. I guess we also might've ended the time loop by shutting down the time machine and sending the AI into the future, but I wonder if something more's gonna come for this. Maybe a third part to the DLC where we use the Violet Book Turo gave us or Terapagos to go back in time and stop him from making the time machine, or at least stop him from using it? This is crazy stuff lmao
Not quite. Look at the professor’s wording. He specifically says his machine will pull Pokémon from alternate timelines. The past and future are still on the same timeline. So basically, the paradox Pokemon come from the past/future of other dimensions.
Turo believes in Multiverse Theory and that time isn’t linear when you travel through time that act alone creates a new universe , instead theirs multiple pasts and multiple futures. It would go to explain some of the nonsense Paradox Pokémon like the Beast Trio, it’s not from our past but from a different timelines past.
Imagine if arven was there. I feel like it would turn into a very emotional scene with arven finally seeing his actual dad again and getting the chance to say goodbye to him since he never got the chance to
I don't know, but Area Zero itself (which is resembles a giant deep crater) was clearly tell that Terapagos was crashlanded to the region a long time ago. And by the way this is the third Legendary Pokèmon who wasn't originated from The Pokémon World Planet, the previous ones are Necrozma and Enteranux.
The notes Sada/turo left inside the area zero cave speak of this scene happening and you handing them a white book. The book had everything about Terapagos, and with that knowledge, I think briar's book helped the professor perfect the time machine. So we basically caused the entire game in some weird time paradox.
This is what you call a closed time loop. Sada/turo eventually made the machine one their own at one point in time and started these events.....but this event here cemented their fate into place where it will always happen since the book was given
@@ChaikaVT true, but we still are missing how exactly Heath made his notes that he doesn't remember and how Paradoxes appeared there in the first place. Or didn't and he was just handed the book from someone from the future. Either way, the bootstrap paradox is missing key component - origin can still be pointed.
I suppose this event will save the parent of Arven from another timeline since the professor will have already gotten all the information he/she needed therefore could go home to live with their son and not ended up dead as part of their future fate in continuous research.
Nope. This is actually the event that seals their fate. Because of the. book given, he will complete his research and the machine and get killed by what comes out of it.
@@eyesofthebeastactually this is a giant contradiction. They would of never got any paradox pokemon without the Time Machine in the first place, since miraidon/koraidon were the first ones from the machine, plus if you gave them the book, then how would they know to refer to the Pokémon by such names. This implies they already made the Time Machine, which means the events that would result in the main one’s death should have already happened. It could only make sense if the one brought back from the past’ was actually the ANDROID and somehow it was playing dumb by pretending to still be the professor. But then this also contradicts Arven never getting into contact with his parent for a ridiculously long time which would be the only way he would have mirai/korai’dons ball, knows its name if he did get into contact with the android still pretending to be his parent. Aka it’s a god damn plethora of contradictions that bank on the idea it’s abusing omega ruby/alpha sapphire parallel world theory that also ignores a large number of rules when it comes to time travel on top of that.
@@Cell287 I still stand by my statement it was entirely random, cause it could have happened somewhere else like a lake in Area Zero instead. All it does was establish a random pool in an entirely different region had random mc’guffin powers that could only work if you had a ‘concentration of terastal energy’. Plus the fact it was the professor pulled out of nowhere without something to act as the connection like miraidon or a memento of turo or maybe Arven being present, wishing he could see his parent again after hearing about the legend, makes it feel like a lazy arse pull. Ultimately I’m not a fan of ridiculously flimsy story beats, when as far as I’m aware of on the game, terapagos was just a concentration of terastal energy, not the source of what created paradox pokemon in general, just the professor wanted to casually break space time and ‘poach’ Pokémon from entirely different realities except not needing a legendary to time travel or cross dimensions at all. It’s literally a slap against Celebi, Dialga, Palkia, GIRATINA, Hoopla, Solgaleo, Lunala and necrozoma’s collective faces and making them be a joke when they are basically the collective joke despite being the cast of legendary/mythics tied to time travel and dimension hopping.
So fantastating that this directly mirrors what Heath experienced and documented about in “The Phantom Memory” page of the Violet Book. “When awoken, I could only recall speaking with someone in an unfamiliar place, as if in a dream” If Turo spoke to the player I wonder who Heath spoke to?
I might be suspicious to talk about because i love time travel But this game history is just amazing and well written It is not just the gameplay story, it is also the whole lore behind the professors, Area Zero and Heath, i never see such a deep and complex concept in a pokemon game
This also confirms that, despite everyone's belief's that the Paradox Pokemon were created by dreams and imagination, they actually, are infact, from the future/past. Personally, I think them actually being brought by time travel is way more interesting.
Its still not past and future for THIS timeline. Its like the UBs in gen 7. Alternative tinelines and dimensions. Just described to the best of the authors ability same way the fossils in galar arent actually the actual pokemon but an interpretation. Theres no way a prehistoric Jigglypuff existed a billion years ago when life wasnt even past the microbe stage. Or how brute bonnet just so happens to look like a pokeball millenia before pokeballs existed. Alternate dimension or timelines is a much better fit. Still doesnt explain how the tera crystals made the AI and time machine more advanced than anything we have. The dreams thing still fits regardless. Turo desired to get an answer. Terapagos delivered it. Just like how jirachi grants wishes but in its own way (at least according to the movie).
@@shirokun002 I’d argue that it’s still based on the past and futures of those timelines. Reason being is that if it were just alternate dimensions, it would also be pulling out Ultra Beasts from the timelines.
There's some aspect of dreaming to it. The way Turo appeared in the mist and it whisked him away in a few minutes makes it seem like the player character and Turo are sharing a vision.
Yep. We did. We swapped the books. The documents on that desk are still present. The research was still done. The clash between the paradoxes still happened. All because of the pursuit of knowledge. All because of a rainbow turtle. We ruined the life of a guy we would call our best friend, but we also saved his dog’s life too, so now I don’t feel TOTALLY bad about it, but still… this last scene of depth to Turo, this final revelation is staggering… it recontextualises the entire game and all because we went to the hot spring book club, and swapped scriptures. I hate us, but it was a great story too. 😁😭⭐️
@@navybluegacha2119 I wonder if like the player character will ever sit down one day and realize that they caused everything to happen. I mean it should’ve been very obvious to them based on Turo/Sada’s dialogue that this was going to happen I mean just from what was said they basically gave Miraidon/Koraidon its name (another paradox actually)
Hope guys: we know the Violet/Scarlet Book is the only key to use the "Time Machine"... And if we could get a 3rd dlc and try to save Turo and Sada? NOW we have not a copy but The Violet/Scarlet Book, so we could make it work again. I hope so much for it
It’s two different paradoxes. It’s a bootstrap paradox as by giving Briar’s white book to the professor, predetermined events play out in a closed loop as indicated by the journal entry in the Area Zero underdepths. It also creates a paradox which implies the creation of an alternate timeline because the professor’s personal copy of the Scarlet / Violet book has been removed from its rightful place in the past, a one of a kind book which was instrumental to the aforementioned predetermined events occurring. A contradiction. Either that or some future content finds a way to give either your one or the AI professor’s Scarlet / Violet book back to the past and close the loop.
Mainly because he doesn't want it to interfere with his work. In a cutscene, Clavell tells Arven that his own office used to Turo's lab, and that he often slept there due to pulling all nighters and such. Turo even says that Arven is lonely, so he's aware that he's not close to him. However, since he is a scientist first and foremost, he puts his feelings aside.
Yes, as the Time Machine's key is Turo's book, not the other way around. Which theoretically means we'll probably get a 2nd wave of DLC where we go to Atlantis via Terapagos
I don’t know how to put my finger on it. But the real Turo looks so different from his A.I self. And I’m not just talking about when the A.I gets robo eyes.
Honestly... Respect on the writers for keeping the professors as sack of shit parents. Turo didnt even offer any remorse at all talking about his son being lonely, just a simple "i have to get back to my work now!". I figured they'd try giving them some kind of redemption but this is so much better.
So basically the Paradox Pokémon were pulled from alternate timelines, and we ended up creating a new branched timeline where the professor gains knowledge from the future and (hopefully) doesn’t die.
So they dont allow you to tell him anything, “Hey your research is cool but paradox pokemon will break the ecosystem and lead you to your uneventful death, your son will miss you and an AI version of you will be a better parent, so keep that in mind”

As good the DLC is, I'm EXTREMELY disappointed that Arven, Nemona and Penny don't have any involvement in the story, felt legit bait and switched by having the focus shifted towards Kieran and Carmine
I don't think it's worth it for Arven to see his supposed passed away parent again. It would be reopen back his wound for losing his parent. He is already move on and wants to become a chef. Nemona might get excited and Penny feel little uneasy at first but deal with it by little
I agree with this. The shift from Nemona, Arven and Penny to Kieran and Carmine is a HUGE downgrade. Kieran is fine enough, but Carmine was such an annoyance to be around. I would've loved any more fun times with the OG friend group.
Also please notice what he says about paradox pokemon. Those ARE NOT ancient or future mons of our mons. Those are ancient and future mons of alternate timelines. So "time machine" isn't exactly a time machine.
@@jrivas8112 no, not really. This is nothing new in media for things to go drastically different in various timelines. Take Nier as example which has different timelines in which things occur that didn't occur in other timeline. Different dimension could be entirely different world. Different timeline could be world that resemble ours, and that at some point was like ours, but things happened differently with different outcomes and timelines split into different branches. Imagination tells me that in one timeline, men never conquered the world, that's why their counterparts are bigger and more dangerous Beasts, in other technology progressed so fast that it turned every living being into biomechanical thing. That's just my speculation tho. Professor specifically said "past/future of different timeline to present time in our timeline" meaning that our timeline also have past and future, but they decide to take mons from different ones. There is more evidence. Such as lack of records of paradox mons in the past despite having a pretty nicely documented ancient times of Paldea, while saying that Koraidon resemble ancient relative of Cyclizar.
Pokemon has been Multiverse thematic since gen 6 with the whole Mega timeline and non Mega timeline Timeline split because of AZ Delta episode with the whole link cable connecting universes and then gen 7 Sun and Moon with ultra beast coming from different dimensions and then Ultra sun and Ultra moon happened where we literally travel the multiverse and then we have legends Arceus where we have our main character pulled back in time by God him self who's a nexus being and finally scarlet and violet where a crystal pool can pull someone from a different "timeline universe all because of Terapogos trust me this has been a long running thing

i have not stopped thinking about the professor (specifically professor turo) since we first met their AI and faced it in battle. like, not a day has gone by without me thinking of him at least once within the last year. i absolutely adore him, and this interaction quite literally left me in tears. it left me thinking about what the fuck we (the player character) just did, what this man has seen and what he is keeping hidden from us, even now- i want to see more of the professor so bad, but i know that's unlikely, and that breaks my heart. what a fascinating character.
Turo doesnt seem evil, clearly this was before the incident of the other miraidon attacking him... i wonder if this made a new timeline where hes good or its the MC who gave all this info to further sada/turo's ambitions relentlessly ultimately leading to their demise... who know.
Yeah, he's a lot nicer in this time frame he was taken from. But I guess this was before his decent into madness about the whole Paradise Protection Protocol thing. This only after he discovered Tera Energy and the first Paradox Pokemon soon after making the Time Machine, which is our Miraidon, and he names it so later on
Turo said the timeline of the player was the future… then his clothes would logically come from the past despite looking futuristic… how would he know about miraidon if it comes from the future ? The lines with Sada makes sense but Turo feels odd
Then basically the Pokemon Paradox are Pokemon from different timelines? And much probably we have created a paradox where there is a probability that the prof could be saved or doomed again?
I guess this eliminates the theory none of the paradox Pokémon are actually from the past/future but creations from one’s will interacting with terastral energy. The book we give him is the same one we find in his secret lab. His journal even mentions this moment. As to why Terapagos did this, I haven’t a clue. Dialga might be mad tho. Celebi too.
I don't think the Turo we meet here is the same one from our timeline. I have a few reasons for thinking this. The first reason is that him giving us his personal copy of the Violet Book would prevent the events of our own timeline from ever occurring, since that copy is the key to the time machine. The second reason is that in the journal entry in the Underdepths, while Turo does mention being given a white book by a child, he doesn't mention seeing the Iron Serpent. He also mentions deducing that the place he was transported to was in the eastern lands based on temperature and humidity, whereas during our meeting with Turo, we tell him ourselves that he's in Kitakami. Taking all of this into account, I think the Turo we meet here is from a different timeline, and that while the Turo from our timeline also time traveled to the Crystal Pool, he met a version of us from a different timeline and didn't hand over his copy of the Violet Book. This means that the Turo from the alternate timeline might not end up meeting the same fate as the one from ours.
I took a selfie with Turo before speaking again. And the fact that this was in a journal entry in the Zero Underdepths just boggles my mind. You could read about this before it happened.
This was a delightful thing to stumble on even if it didn't also have Arven there for maximum closure. I'm going to miss the Area Zero stuff when we move to the next games, this is some fascinating stuff they've created.

Hits me right in the feel again. I actually teared up when Miraidon come out of its pokeball to see Turo, its been a long time, but alas... its a very short meeting... But this also indicate that the story with the professor is completed, but i think Arven should be part of it also...
Watching the Horizons anime, I somewhat knew that Terapagos can make like illusions of memories it had from the past but I didn't know it was also a freaking time traveller! It's cute that Miraidon's reaction when it saw the real professor again was so happy like a dog seeing it's owner after a long time and it hit really hard when it was saddened that the professor has to leave again. To think that the entire plot of this game is a time loop that never ends is so mind blowing.
But the paradox we just created is real cause the AI professors took the book with them to prevent the time machine from being restarted but now we have the book does that mean the time machine or dream machine can be reactivated?
Oh God it is a real paradox in the resurch notes on the desk in the new area zero location it says the professor was transported to a mysterious location that smelled like sulfer and a mysterious child gave them a white covered book the same book we gave him at the crystal pool 😱😲

Miraidon’s name is literally a bootstrap paradox lmao.
Only thing that makes it weird is that Turo/Sada no longer have the Scarlet/Violet book in their possession anymore. He/she even says that they’ll “go home” to take the time to read it.
Did we create an alternate timeline by doing this interaction?
This interaction is referenced in the professor's journal at the very bottom of Area Zero:
"While investigating the hidden treasure, I found myself suddenly transported to a great height, near a lake that smelled of sulfur. Based on temperature and humidity, I believe it to have been the eastern lands I've read about before. And there, a child gave me a white volume"
Was that added in the dlc or was in base game? Also that means we either responsible for turos death or we didn’t affect anything. Both kinda lame

Same, I was trying to find an outbreak and ended up crying😭
You need the white book copy of that ms briana then you need terapagos but not in you're team and then this cutscene triggers
Turo gives you the Violet Book he wrote at the end of this scene. Turo used this book for his time machine, but now that he is without it he will either be unable to use it again or will have to make a new one, meaning that in his timeline Turo may now be unable to cause any incidents with Paradox Pokémon and could survive the Iron Serpent fight he died in.
maybe it's just a copy of the book
@@themeerkat8102 Maybe.
He does say "my copy of the Violet Book", but that could also mean it's the version of it that he created himself and used for the machine.
And that creates a alternate timeline. Interesting..
I would doubt it's just any old copy as opposed to his personal one when the game mentions it has his name poorly scribbled onto it
I'd like to think that the violet book we got is just a copy turo brought just before he left to area zero and that he just quickly scribbled his name on it. while the violet book arven has is turo childhood violet book and that he left it behind because it was a treasured belonging. it could also be tied back to arven with it symbolising turo leaving behind his greatest treasures when he went down to area zero.
(and they would probably have also mentioned that bit of info in their research notes too)
This is why this cutscene could be considered a true paradox if there was only one timeline, as the book should be gone before you get it during your first visit in Area Zero, yet the professor gave it to you at a time before their death too, and really can only be explained out of, as some people have suggested, this being another professor from another timeline, which the player character may have actually altered their future and could have possibly saved them just by this exchange. (and maybe even give them more time to spend with their own Arven)
Quite the butterfly effect.
(the only other explanation, would be that the professor "got" another book since it was a mass produced book, although sounds like it was hard to get at their point in time and then *claimed* that it is from their childhood... but honestly why would they lie about that?)
This is probably why we got palkia and dialga just now
If you go back to the area zero undergrowths and interact with turo/sadas documents. One of them simply being titled “a journal entry”. If you choose to read this, it describes the events seen in this video.
@@ggblister While true, that still does not explain the Violet/Scarlet book that suddenly appears again and used as a key for the time machine. (and it can't be a copy, the professor literally says the book is something they were very attached too)
Even if it "sounds" like that isn't a big deal, taking something that was *required* to stop the time machine is a rather big consequence that would affect something.
@@Dizzy-Luc Then they must be lying
The fact we now posess the violet book key means that Turo is from another timeline separate to our own.
Our Turo met another version of us, or someone else at the pools and got the white book from them but didn't give his book in return.
Maybe this Turo/Sada did go home to read and some things changed for the better.
"You should hang out with your son more. Let him know that you love him."
This 100% happened. I think their research was incomplete. But the "hidden treasure of area zero" book contains completed research.
By peering into a future where they failed, they are able to mend theirs and alter the course

@@trevhart2124AND THE VIOLET/SCARLET BOOK IS ON THE TABLE
This MAJORLY hints a third DLC, we now have the original Turo/Sada Violet/Scarlet Book, we can reactivate the Time Machine, and Heaths Phantom Memory where he met Terapagos was just like this, either in this same spot, or somewhere similar, and in the sketch it was the Stellar Form of Terapagos, and Heath had a page of notes where he didn’t know where it came from, so we could have hime travel forward in time to us and either show him how to make the equations or tear out the page, which would make it a Bootstrap Paradox, where there is no beginning or end. We may even in this hypothetical third DLC, we may be able to go to a area in the Future or the Past with more Paradox Pokémon, because it now been confirmed that Terapagos has time travel powers and not dream powers, because we just brought the real Turo/Sada to us, and we know this isn’t a illusion because in the journal entry at the Area Zero Under-depths entrance we hear the professor write about being transported to Kitakami and meeting us and keeping the book which they describe as a white volume, and the book we give is a white book.
a third DLC would be, in the words of Amarys, “unprecedented”
I HOPE ITS TRUE PLZ 3RD DLC want more new areas to Paldea and even going back to Kalos as post game (since it’s literally near Kalos) so much stuff and they can finish off the missing Pokémon’s by adding in the national dex 😭
Well we already have data pointing to some sort of event involving pecharunt thats not just a distribution event but an actual story driven one. I hope we get one more dlc, too many questions.
The epilogue is in Kitakami, but this theory is probs a bit too much, no shame tho
And we can’t even go back to the damn Time Machine room, it takes us to the deeper part instead,
If you speak to arven after this, he notices the violet book you have and assumes it's just a copy from the library.
Mc probably dislikes the prof considering what they put their friend “arven” and co through
And how the ai version was literally a kinder person compared to them idk
Miraidon’s reactions and final whimper after Turo vanishes for the last time is downright heartbreaking…

CANON IS ABSOLUTELY BUSTED AFTER INDIGO DISK AND OHARA WOULD HATE TO SEE THE TURTLE

The notes Sada/turo left inside the area zero cave speak of this scene happening and you handing them a white book. So we basically caused the entire game in some weird time paradox.

He shook off thinking about his son like it was an intrusive thought 😂😂😂
Mainly because he doesn't want it to interfere with his work. In a cutscene, Clavell tells Arven that his own office used to Turo's lab, and that he often slept there due to pulling all nighters and such.
Turo even says that Arven is lonely, so he's aware that he's not close to him. However, since he is a scientist first and foremost, he puts his feelings aside.
The player now has the key to the time machine again! If it's the key at that point in time that is.
Can Briar's book be read?
I haven't even checked but based on Turo's book it was a rare item so it couldn't be read
This event changes the Title screen once more, and while beautiful... it tugs at the heartstrings...

@@jrivas8112 no, not really. This is nothing new in media for things to go drastically different in various timelines. Take Nier as example which has different timelines in which things occur that didn't occur in other timeline.
Different dimension could be entirely different world. It would be perfect if Arven was here. Am wondering, what about Sada? Will she have an appearance?
Yes she has but for that I need to play Scarlet. Finished both at least until the second DLC but it's long to do, I need to focus continue on Violet since I am far now
faked and si editied
@@Mixeli okay, thank you for information
I’m pretty sure sada would have the same reactions except with koriadon and the scarlet book
@@Mixeli what happens if you refuse to give the book will they live?
4:45 Does this mean we can get the time machine back up and running? 😅
i dont think we can access the time machine anymore
Time machine is still running
If you go there after the main story tye crystals aren't black anynore so TM is on
@@luiscarlosgarcia663 thats not how that works at all
@@stallsunguy3064 Originally, before the DLC update, yes you could head back down to the time machine and the crystal lights would be back on after some kind of reboot program operating the time machine without the A.I. Professor. Now, it's the underdepths, and there is a secret area that can be unlocked after the main event in Indigo Disk. Beat the Tera Stellar boss responsible for sealing it and voila! Tons of Tera shards and a TM is the treasure!
If only we could've told Turo what happens to him before he left... Maybe then, things would be different.
I don't now if the MC knows exactly what happened to Turo.
@@alexisballina8764 The AI copy told them at the climax of the main story once they reached the Zero Lab. Remember?
@@GlacierWolf Actually I don't remember thanks.
About time travel the correct thing is that you shouldnt touch NOTHING.
Turo is made more human even in facial gestures and slight body movements(compared to the AI),😮 it's quite clever. I wonder why in the hell the player doesn't warn Turo, or tell him to care for Arwen more? Heartless much? 😑
i have not stopped thinking about the professor (specifically professor turo) since we first met their AI and faced it in battle. like, not a day has gone by without me thinking of him at least once within the last year. i absolutely adore him, and this interaction quite literally left me in tears. it left me thinking about what the fuck we (the player character) just did, what this man has seen and what he is keeping hidden from us, even now-
i want to see more of the professor so bad, but i know that's unlikely, and that breaks my heart. what a fascinating character.
Turo doesnt seem evil, clearly this was before the incident of the other miraidon attacking him... i wonder if this made a new timeline where hes good or its the MC who gave all this info to further sada/turo's ambitions relentlessly ultimately leading to their demise... who know.
Second one
Yeah, he's a lot nicer in this time frame he was taken from. But I guess this was before his decent into madness about the whole Paradise Protection Protocol thing. This only after he discovered Tera Energy and the first Paradox Pokemon soon after making the Time Machine, which is our Miraidon, and he names it so later on
Turo said the timeline of the player was the future… then his clothes would logically come from the past despite looking futuristic… how would he know about miraidon if it comes from the future ? The lines with Sada makes sense but Turo feels odd
Turo isn't from the future, he dresses the part because it's his dream to be in a futuristic world.
When I saw this I was like "HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE?!"
Then basically the Pokemon Paradox are Pokemon from different timelines? And much probably we have created a paradox where there is a probability that the prof could be saved or doomed again?
I saw the first seconds and then I left to play out this scene myself. Glad I did!
Celebi too.
Despite the many flaws of this game, Scarlet and Violet just has a lot of fun little tidbits here and there.
ok this is actually sick and explains A LOT
I’m still wondering where is prof.Sada in violet and prof.Turo in scarlet
Deadbeats
Not around, they left the professor- and thus abandoned Arven. Still alive most likely but they probably suck
Plot twist for violet, “their our dad”
This was a delightful thing to stumble on even if it didn't also have Arven there for maximum closure. I'm going to miss the Area Zero stuff when we move to the next games, this is some fascinating stuff they've created.
The new title screen is incredible
Horrible decision not to include arven, it's like they forgot the original characters even existed
This scene is actually to show the whole main story of S/V is actually a paradox, if arven included there would be no paradox....but i get what you saying, we fell in love with the characters and want the best for them
You can literally ask him if he has a family, and he will say he has a son, also you can show that violet book to Arven.
@@srdjandakulovic6052and sadly arven just speculate you borrow it from library lol
@@PahlawanMerdeka well there is still a mythical quest in kitakami that will feature Arven so we will see what happens there, but even if nothing happens we atleast know what the book means
@@srdjandakulovic6052What mythical quest that’ll feature Arven???
Also, now that I’m thinking about it, what is Gen 9s mythical Pokémon?
After this cutscene I went to Arven’s dorm to see what he might say and he noticed the Violet/Scarlet book we have but thinks it’s just a copy we took from the academy library, not knowing it’s the original one his real dad/mom gave us.
That’s so sad…
5:32 WAIT ITS A LOOP
Who else had their mind completely blown when they saw this for the first time?! 🤯🤩
He has the complete book now I wonder if something changed even if it's minor.
ITS DA MOTHERFUCKIN GIGACHAD PROFESSOR TURO
On January 11 there will be an epilogue of the DLC where the existing doubts about this ending will possibly be resolved
Wait so
It was because of Orapagon that the professor created the time machine and therefore dying?
So this is all a para- ohhhh ok gotcha 🗿
Bootstrap paradox
So it's our fault
Even naming miraidon and koraidon too
@@m.l.7558 WE CAUSED THE PARADOX
THE LOOP
WE TRIGGERED SOME CANON FLUXES
OHARA WOULD BE ABSOLUTELY LIVID
Basically the “Time Machine” is using the huge ass terapegos and the baby one to force future/past Pokémon into the present
He's always been a favorit character, I hope I see you in pasio....
I cross my fingers
But the paradox we just created is real cause the AI professors took the book with them to prevent the time machine from being restarted but now we have the book does that mean the time machine or dream machine can be reactivated?
Oh God it is a real paradox in the resurch notes on the desk in the new area zero location it says the professor was transported to a mysterious location that smelled like sulfer and a mysterious child gave them a white covered book the same book we gave him at the crystal pool 😱😲
It’s a book people can buy they confirmed this in game you can find it at a bookshelf at the academy so they just bought another one
Paradox Pokémon comfirmed real not dream creations, finally
Should of did more of the story with this
Sooo what happens if you bring the book back to the zero lab 🤔?
Nothing as far as my searches have told me
You can’t even get to the Time Machine it automatically takes you to the deep part unfortunately
If at least we could change the different timeline and save the profs and make Arven happy...
I think this confirms that Terapagos doesn't grant wishes; it manipulates space-time.
If this means this is a whole time loop, makes you wonder wth was the original timeline like? How did it get to this point? Did terapegos cause it? But why?
I JUST WANTED TO TAKE A PICTURE OF MY TERAPAGOS IN FRONT OF THE CRYSTAL POOL LIKE THE HECK?!?!!
I was just exploring and this cutscene happened 😭💀
So we retroactively name a species of Pokémon. Cool
Imagine if we could fight them as their original selves in the future or something. Probably a pipe dream, though - about one of a thousand of 'em.
Es el Profesor Turo, es real
