I sold Matthew two watches a few years ago. I ended up staying a few hours at his shop. He brought out a his/hers set of Rolex Midas with Lapis dials amongst other unique pieces. Such a cool experience and he’s a genuinely nice guy.

Modern refs don't really age. It's maybe possible to get the dial tropical. But the ceramic bezel, nope. And modern superluminova doesn't fade either. Only radium and tritium will get orange after time.
Just imagine the color or Mr Carlos lume….haha…it would be almost orange hahaha
I love the vintage Rolex heads, but I can't stand those old jank bracelets and stamped clasps. I know that's just how things were at the time. But no way am I wearing hollow/rolled/stretched links. Would be immediately switching to a nice leather strap.
