100% agree on closure statement. For personal collections, You should buy what you like and not just caring about “value” in the future. Great video man!!
Exactly... Even though I'm not a big fan of Eric's style of collecting (20 watches from one line up, from different periods) BUT we share the passion for watches and not for money and so I can respect this collection!
Love the video and showing how great vintage is. The new collectors don't know what their missing out on these vintage pieces. Buying a modern sport at retail is all about making instant money and those types of collectors aren't true watch enthusiasts.
My favorite video on your channel. I think that this really shows your passion for watch collection and what this is really about. Love the stories of your watches and I think that is a beautiful collection. Best regards from Mexico
Eric, Super dope collection brother! I love them all! Great point about how people get desensitize about all the high-end watches that the low end watches fall by the waste-side.
Agree, you have to love your collection, having the collection appreciate is a plus but not necessarily the goal. I have personally never sold any of my collections, I give watches to friends a lot, it is my way of promoting the art of watch collecting.
I was going to say something snarky but after watching the video I see you really care about those watches in an emotional way. Good for you that you appreciate them in a way that is beyond just value.
Leave it to Eric to have "heavy hitters" even when he's talking about vintage... A beautiful collection and much more enjoyable than hearing about how much over MSRP they are.
This video is crazy inspiring! You really love what you do and it shows. Only someone passionate about watches can put together this kind of collection 💯🔥
Bro what an amazing collection you have. Also love the fact that you emphasized that you actually like your watches for what they are and not caring if the market goes up or down 👍🏽
Beautiful collection. If I was able to I would add some vintage two tone or gold pieces. I was never into vintage before but lately the character of the vintage stuff is calling me. Always bringing the heat. respect and aloha
Eric love the collection, and have a lust for the Double Red. I purchased one many years ago but sold it to help a friend in trouble, but hopefully I will get the chance one day to replace it. Just love your passion for Vintage !
You know, when I first started watching your vids I was put off - I saw you as a Miami flexer, and I consider watch dealer/flexers as a scourge on the watch hobby. However, your more recent content (or maybe I'm just seeing the real man/true watch lover behind the glasses). Whatever, I really liked this video. It gave me faith that maybe not all watch dealers are greedy A-holes. Thank you for sharing this collection with your personal stories. It encouraged me not to just walk away from what used to be a hobby and has become little more than an investment la la land. Look forward to your future content.
Good observation ,Eric is a real good Dude along with Roman and Adrian. There are a lot of shady stories out there about CRM but careful what you believe.
I bought my first rolex 16750 back in 2016 for under retail....with all the hype today my buddies all say "why don't you sell it"......They don't get it, i didn't buy the watch to flip, i bought the watch because I love it. It has nothing to do with the price and everything to do with the story. The watch becomes a mechanical part of you that lives forever. Something that really isn't available in todays throwaway society. Great collection Eric, thanks for sharing. I hope to add a matte dial sub or GMT one day as well
Nice to see your vintage filled collection and something other than hyped timepieces. I remember a video awhile back and you mentioned the JPM hipster strap. It’s been great for my GMT’s and thanks for your suggestion!
You said it that the vintage or near vintage Rolex have a way of charming you. I've started paying more attention to your channel after I saw you recently state that retail buyers aren't paying the crazy ask prices you see today for watches like the panda ceramic Daytona. I appreciated the frank and honest commentary.
Beautiful collection Eric, love the Red Sea dweller. You need to add a stella President in a stone dial or other funky color dial, the price’s are up there for them, Jeff.
Got 3/4 through thinking, "It's so refreshing that Watch Eric did not mention values," and then he mentions he did not mention the values. Thanks for sharing, Eric, and for keeping the passion over profits in watches alive.
Great Video and great vintage collection! Looking forward to adding a vintage Pepsi and Sub to my collection one day. You were on point with your closing statements. That passion is what a lot of people have gotten away from. Keep up the good work!!
Hey Eric, Now that`s what I`m Talking about WOW what a awesome collection ! I`m a vintage guy as well , the double red is the kicker it`s mint !!!!!!! Now time to start a box of just Gold ones , GMT, Subs , YM`s . Just saying Good Job
Yep couldn't agree more Eric. My thing is 1960s pieces because that was when I was a kid, and it needs to be loud ones - Heuer, Speedy, Sub, GMT, Seamaster300. And when I wear these, the childhood memories and nostalgia rushes are strong and powerful. Impossible with a 2023 piece. Modern ones are for actual swimming etc.
Your Dad is a Boss 🔥🔥🔥 Edit: That 1675 is the watch I’ve wanted since I was a kid and loved Magnum’s Dad’s watch! It started my love for a nice watch. One day after my kids are done with college and until then my 16610 V will have to do.💪🏽
I remember that episode. The GMT Master was prominently shown in the “Home from the Sea” episode where he tread water for hours and hours after the surf ski capsized.
Nice collection man. Loving the Pepsi's, and even more so the SD's. my favourite from your collection is the 16800, that really hits the spot for me, IMO the best Sub, vintage enough but with the crystal and modern movement, and with a matt dial. Your collection is a full set )
Hello Eric, very nice pieces ! Also, sorry to tell you that the bracelet of your Red Sub is not period correct, you should have got a folded one reference is 9315 !
@Eric, not sure if you know that your GW is a rail dial. It's the best one to have Imo of all the 1665 variations outside of the DRSD'S. She needs a MK3 insert and she's good to go. Nice single + double red's as well. Enjoy them all.
Erick, I just found last week and bough my birth Year 1675. Its a 1967 like yours, It was not easy at all find this with originals box and papers ;-) Awesome piece. I really like yourr as well with that Strap and that inmaculate dial.
'73 is my birth year, if you ever want to part with the Double Red, let me know! Stellar collection you have there, I truly like them all. Thank you for presenting them!
another E video - where your passion come thru so easily. a good honest, from the heart collection. - I really liked the first watch , the coke . be safe. ~ JDS/CT
great collection.....really love the "coke" especially since your father gave it to you. really heavy with subs and gmt's, woulda thought there would be a daytona in the lot!
Nice collection. What should you add? In my opinion, a nice 5513 or 5512, no date sub with crown guards. I feel that it would suit better your vintage collection than a no crown guard sub. But it's just my opinion ... Anyway, thanks for sharing ;)
Great collection and brilliant obsession. What I like personally is that the materials used back when allowed for variations in patina from painted aluminum and burned out Tritium. The wear and tear from fade and AGE - TIME begins a creation that start$ to dance in harmony. Modern models will get wrecked :( ceramic and luminova won’t compare with early Rolex 30 years from now:) rock on Eric
One word “Passion” that’s what I get from you Eric when you describe your collection.
Yeah he's gonna sell all his "collection" later cauz he's a dealer after all lol
You're so spot on when you say that "some watches can talk to you" sometimes. Same feeling for me.
100% agree on closure statement. For personal collections, You should buy what you like and not just caring about “value” in the future. Great video man!!

One word for you Eric: Respect! Love the content. You get it. A steely eyed watch man.
I appreciate that!
Beautiful collection Eric, thanks for sharing

Best watch youtube channel. Eric you are simply the BEST ! Honest and Authentic content. This was a excellent excellent video.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I was going to say something snarky but after watching the video I see you really care about those watches in an emotional way. Good for you that you appreciate them in a way that is beyond just value.
Really enjoyed this. Love the stories as well. This is what makes vintage collecting so fun!!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Beautiful collection. If I was able to I would add some vintage two tone or gold pieces. I was never into vintage before but lately the character of the vintage stuff is calling me. Always bringing the heat. respect and aloha
The last two minutes of this video were spot on and I agree with everything you said in regards to collecting and the value of watches.
Eric love the collection, and have a lust for the Double Red. I purchased one many years ago but sold it to help a friend in trouble, but hopefully I will get the chance one day to replace it.

One of my favorite videos of yours, Eric! Thank you!
Agree, its about love for the watches and having the meaning that derives feeling.
I bought my first rolex 16750 back in 2016 for under retail....with all the hype today my buddies all say "why don't you sell it"......They don't get it, i didn't buy the watch to flip, i bought the watch because I love it. Awesome Eric! Enjoy in the best of health!
The Real Deal Watch Eric...great collection and it shows that you are passionate about what you do and have.
I really dig this collection. Stoked to see the vintage side of Watch Eric.
Nice to see your vintage filled collection and something other than hyped timepieces. I remember a video awhile back and you mentioned the JPM hipster strap. It’s been great for my GMT’s and thanks for your suggestion!

These vintage Rolex cases are so charming. Great collection Eric
Love the sub and the seadweller. What a collection! Wear with good health Eric. 🥂
Austen Daniels put me on the neo vintage Rolexes - this is a gorgeous collection!
Beautiful collection Eric, love the Red Sea dweller. You need to add a stella President in a stone dial or other funky color dial, the price’s are up there for them, Jeff.
Got a great collection Eric, kudos for sourcing those
Love the piece at the end about the passion for the hobby. That is what it is all about.
Dang. Such a great collection! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful collection Eric and beautifully presented.
Thanks for watching
A great selection… worthy of a museum display!
I luv seeing your personal favorites and why each piece means something to you.
Way cool
I think the watch collection is great! But that bottle of ‘Captain Morgan’ rum doesn’t do justice to somebody with so much style and class 😎
This is cool. I didn’t know you had a vintage collection. Thanks for sharing.
Great collection. You should try to get a blueberry GMT although that might disrupt your already full case 😄
Great collection! I’m old school too…passion before profit!
Next one? Vintage Daytona for sure…market is soft for vintage now time to buy 😊
Wow! Thank you for sharing this.
Great collection Eric and nice that each one has a story. That's what I like most about our hobby. Take care
Thanks 👍
nice video eric, love the watches! may I ask where you got the watchbox from?
Got 3/4 through thinking, "It's so refreshing that Watch Eric did not mention values," and then he mentions he did not mention the values. Thanks for sharing, Eric, and for keeping the passion over profits in watches alive.
Great show. Really enjoyed meeting you Monday!
Should add the vintage Explorers to expand your collection. Well done 👍 Eric, Love it 😊
Great Video and great vintage collection! Looking forward to adding a vintage Pepsi and Sub to my collection one day. You were on point with your closing statements. That passion is what a lot of people have gotten away from. Keep up the good work!!

Thanks for sharing 🤙🏻 sweet collection, I like the personal touch, I’m not interested in the price, just love to see awesome watches 🙌
Right on
Great collection, and your most authentic video. Love it man, keep it up
Nice collection and you are right, as long as the watch talk to you, why not? Thank you for sharing your collection and thoughts.
Eric, that coke was my first Rolex too in 2000. Very cool!
Eric - agreed with all your words. And about truth. You are about truth. It makes you stand apart from ADs and the grey market. Cheers.
This Channel is pure class
The wrap up is what watches are all about.
Great collection and totally agree with you about buying what you like because it makes you happy.
Amazing collection and video... 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Maybe a Pepsi 16700 is missing?
Good call!
love Eric , also the one on your wrist. 🤭🤘🏻
Great, honest video. Thanks Eric. What watch box is that? It's just what I'm looking for - any chance you could share a link?
Whoa! I vintage show from you...surprising, and really good...
LOL. All GMTs and Subs. Totally a man after my own heart.
Nice collection man. Loving the Pepsi's, and even more so the SD's. my favourite from your collection is the 16800, that really hits the spot for me, IMO the best Sub, vintage enough but with the crystal and modern movement, and with a matt dial. Your collection is a full set )
Thank you for sharing your collection. I'm envious.
Hello Eric, very nice pieces ! Also, sorry to tell you that the bracelet of your Red Sub is not period correct, you should have got a folded one reference is 9315 !
Thank you man.
The 1973 brought a Ref.93150 becelet (what I have).
The fold over links were up to 1970

Niceeeeee
@@WatchEricLastly, I hope hands the hands are still Tritium to complete an original vr example. Thank you for sharing, cheers.
Eric you are the best!
Greetings from Switzerland.
Max
Stunning pieces, my favorite is definitely the 1665. Wear them all in the very best of health!
Hi Eric! You have amazing and beautiful watches !
Thanks for watching
Erick, I just found last week and bough my birth Year 1675. Its a 1967 like yours, It was not easy at all find this with originals box and papers ;-) Awesome piece. I really like yourr as well with that Strap and that inmaculate dial.
Best video so far!!!
Wow, thanks!
'73 is my birth year, if you ever want to part with the Double Red, let me know! Stellar collection you have there, I truly like them all. Thank you for presenting them!
Great video. Thought you would have had a couple of Daytonas though. Really enjoy your videos. P
I respect your viewpoint on the market . Refreshing video !!
another E video - where your passion come thru so easily. a good honest, from the heart collection. - I really liked the first watch , the coke . be safe. ~ JDS/CT
Same here: my first Rolex was the same model as your first, but mine was 2002. Paid $3400, grey market, stickered... was under retail...
Awesome collection buddy 👌🔥🔥🔥
Thanks ✌
Those Pepsis'... *chef's kiss*
great collection.....really love the "coke" especially since your father gave it to you. really heavy with subs and gmt's, woulda thought there would be a daytona in the lot!
Great pieces, Eric
Thank you kindly
Such a stunning collection I love the vintage pieces.
Nice collection. What should you add? In my opinion, a nice 5513 or 5512, no date sub with crown guards. I feel that it would suit better your vintage collection than a no crown guard sub. But it's just my opinion ... Anyway, thanks for sharing ;)
Not a bad idea
Hey Eric, what watch box is this? Looks so dope!
15:02 Love that man. So true.
That's a collection. Substance over sizzle. Well done. Not for nothing... I think a 5513 with a matte dial would fit in perfectly.
The quintessential vintage rolex is a 5513 sub. Arguably the best looking one too.
Cool collection! Vintage Rolex is awesome.
Thanks!!
Great video Eric!
OMG - Fantastic! Great collecting philosophy!
As you said never one should never get rid of one's first Rolex!
BTW what is the watch box / brand?
Niiiiiice😎👌, thx for sharing with us!
Hey, I have that same watch box! Now, if only I had the vintage Rolex's. 😫
Hi! Where'd you get it from been looking for one like that for ages!!! Pls help :(
Completely agree Eric. Like a good woman gets better with age, she may loose her shine a bit BUT she’s yours. 👍👍
Very nice collection there!
Thank you! Cheers!
That Coke, man...! I wish one day I can buy one.
Didn’t know you were a vintage Rolex guy. Love the 1675. 😎
Need a Kermit....very nice collection! Love the channel!!!
I have. But those are not yet old enough to be in this lineup
Amazing collection
Thanks for watching!
